This residence is amazing and so beautiful. I had the upstairs bedroom/ suite Amy Belle. The french doors opened to a balcony with the most impressive views of the beach and surrounds. Matt the host was simply lovely and gave great advice on where to go and where to dine. A++ Bed was very comfortable, room spotlessly clean and so homey. The location is so central to walk to Godfrey beach, The Stanley Nut and different shops. Highly recommend. Perfect for couples and families.

The room was good value for money, the sea breeze was particularly strong at night, and I couldn't sleep. At night, I saw a little luck when I saw the penguins. The seafood shop next to it is good.

The apartment buildings are great, they were generally clean and tidy, but a little more dusting on the window ledges would help first impressions. We had an excellent view across the water, from the sea facing windows. We had No. 8 , which was an upstairs ( again ) suite. The bed was comfortable, the A/C heater worked well as did the TV. However, this is listed as a self catering unit, but the necessities for self catering were strangely missing. We had 2 knives, 2 forks, 1 cheese knife, 2 small bread plates, ( no breakfast bowls ).a corkscrew, a bottle stopper and 2 coffee mugs. No spoons. That's it. No microwave, no toaster, no oven or cooktop. The fridge was in the left side of the wardrobe. I think to call this a self catering unit is really stretching the term ”self catering ” to its absolute limit. We ended up buying cheap cutlery at the IGA along with some plastic plates. The bathroom was spotless and large, but it needed to be because it had a large spa bath with overhead shower. I would rather have had cooking facilities other than a spa. There are laundry facilities available on the premises. We ate dinner every night at The Stanley Hotel, which rather defeated the object of self catering.

The location of the hotel is absolutely good. Each villa has its own name. The car is parked directly at the door. It is very convenient. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room are facing the nut stone. You can enjoy it on the sofa or balcony. The kitchen equipment is all available. You can make your own dinner. There is a big bathtub in the room. It is very pleasant to go to bed and rest after soaking. The only downside is that the hotel's so-called breakfast is actually breakfast-included materials, all in the refrigerator, egg bacon, etc., but it is a bit unexpected to make it yourself.

We had an amazing stay here. Cottage was very comfortable and warmed well for the cooler evening. We had our own jetty and Private outside area with picturesque views. Great for privacy. Quiet and calming. Was also fun to feed fish in pond with food provided. Large fish which jumped up. Also nice walks through gardens down to sea edge. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Definitely recommend for couples wanting time out.

My wife and I stayed in the Admiral's Suite which takes up the whole top floor. We did not lack for room! Outside each window, and from our personal balcony, there were views of the ocean just the other side of the road. The decor was eye catching and the facilities were modern. We also indulged in the cooked breakfast which was also a treat. It was one of the best B&B experiences we have enjoyed over a few decades of travel. There is no question in our mind where we will be staying when we are in Stanley in the future.

The Seaview was a lovely place to end our trip to Tasmania. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the coast and the Nut. Easy to get back into town. Chairs outside the room were a perfect place to enjoy the views. The bed was comfortable and the pillows great. A toaster was provided, but plates and a knife were not, that would be the only thing that I would add. The ladies in the office were very friendly.
