Recommend by a friend we booked tents at Kodombari Retreat in Kaziranga. Nested in a village about a km away from highway, we had awesome time there. Tents were neat and clean. Surrounding was serene . Owner is young and energetic and took great care of guests. He arranged elephant and Jeep safaris for us. Spending evening there is icing on cake . Huts and surroundings illuminated with lights in pitch dark creates a great atmosphere. Food is homely and tastes good . Overall we had a good experience and will recommend it. One negative thing is that they don’t have signboards on highway you have to go there by using Google maps.

Our stay at wilder-nest was very comfortable. The staff there is super helpful, decent and welcoming. They even went out of their way to cook a meal for us at an odd hour, which is rare. It was just us 2 girls, and couldn’t have asked for a better place. It is super safe to visit this place even if you are a solo traveller. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. If it helps, they have 3 cute doggos who are very playful.
