"Staying at this hotel in Qingdao exceeded my expectations – it definitely deserves a five-star review! The location is absolutely unbeatable, right by May Fourth Square. You can literally walk a few steps to the seaside for a stroll, and it's super close to MixC Mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. We got an upgrade to a sea-view room, and the view was breathtaking. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive view of the ocean, and watching the city lights at dusk was particularly enjoyable. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was fresh, and the space was much larger than typical hotel rooms. Plus, having a washing machine was a huge bonus for travel. The front desk staff were very friendly and responsive to any questions, and both check-in and check-out were very efficient. For a sea-view room in the May Fourth Square area, the value for money here is outstanding. It's perfect for couples or small families, and I'd definitely prioritize staying here again on my next trip to Qingdao."

GGuest UserThis Dragon Boat Festival, I brought my family to Qingdao for a trip, and the hotel we stayed at was quite satisfactory. The room had central air conditioning, a refrigerator, a washing machine (with a dryer), and even a kitchen where we could cook. We bought seafood from a nearby farmers' market and borrowed pots and pans from the hotel to enjoy a delicious seafood feast. Food delivery was very convenient; the delivery person would drop it off downstairs, and a robot would bring it to our hotel door a few minutes later. The kids loved this novel experience and had a blast.
When traveling with young children, comfort is key. Most hotels only offer a bedroom and a bathroom, but the rooms at Haiyi Hotel were spacious and made for a very comfortable stay.

Good location and size for the price point. The building is actually a residential condo with local residents, which gives it an authentic feel. Connected to the mall at level 6, so convenient access to dining and shopping. Corridors are very dark.
**Rooms & Comfort**
Rooms are true to photos. Beds are firm but surprisingly comfortable. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets provided. Fair warning though—this property is really more of a service apartment than a hotel, so manage expectations accordingly.
**Cleanliness Issues**
This is the main concern. Housekeeping mops the floor daily, but the water appears dirty and the floors end up grimier than before. If you're traveling with a child (as we were), you'll need to clean the floor yourself—and housekeeping will undo your work the next day. Frustrating cycle.
**Breakfast & Food**
Skip the hotel breakfast package—it's just delivery that you could order yourself. Better options are walking distance away. McDonald's is only 3 minutes on foot.
**Service**
Service is minimal to nonexistent. Asked about getting a local phone number for deliveries and the front desk was unwilling to help. Taobao/package deliveries get dumped in a communal basket with no sorting—you have to search through yourself.
**Condition & Maintenance**
Advertised as newly renovated in 2025, but visible wear and tear suggests low-quality renovation work. Concerns about long-term durability without proper maintenance.
**Summary**
Good for budget travelers who don't expect hotel amenities and don't mind doing some housekeeping yourself. The location and price are solid, but the cleanliness and service gaps are real issues.

XXiaoqishigeyouyuwangziThe hotel's location is great, within walking distance to May Fourth Square and the Olympic Sailing Center. The staff were very patient in guiding us to the hotel and with check-in. Toiletries were refreshed daily, and the two super large beds were very comfortable. We could also store our luggage, which was a huge plus. The value for money at this price is really outstanding, especially since it's quiet at night. It's also convenient to take public transport to other attractions. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Qingdao! 🌝🌝

GGuest UserI booked in a hurry, and the front desk staff told me there weren't many rooms left, and no ground floor ones. The guy at the front desk was really enthusiastic and upgraded my room for free. Even though I'm not a fan of rooms too close to the elevator, this one was spacious and very clean, it really felt like a home away from home. For anyone visiting Qingdao for business or leisure, I highly recommend this place.

AAquaNowThe Meiya International Hotel/Apartment offered worldclass service. The staff provides ample assistance and unending patience to foreign guests. Despite the language limitation, the hotel crew ensured that my requests are provided.
I booked the cheapest room available for my schedule. It was beyond value, loft type unit which gave a solo traveler like me a huge area to move around. the bed was big. the living area was a whole room by itself. there was a separate space for office work, a kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. Meiya is very generous with space.
My room had a view of the city, through its floor to ceiling window. It felt first class.
What was a bit confusing is the names used through trip.com: Meiya Hotel or Ramada Hotel or Fulitai Hotel.
The location was perfect for the conference I attended, just a few blocks away from Yantai International Expo. Commuting via train to neighboring cities like qingdao and weihai is also easy with the train station just 5 min drive away.
There are a couple of shopping malls nearby too.
Overall, I am happy with my stay at Meiya International. If given the chance to visit Yantai, I would definitely come and stay here again.

I left my luggage at the hotel in a rush to leave and didn't have time to go back for it. I called a ride-sharing service to pick it up, and the staff patiently helped bring my luggage down. It's a truly wonderful hotel, worth revisiting.

RRara MomijiI stayed at Yuexi Hotel for 2 nights, and overall, it was a comfortable, basic, and affordable stay. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and the staff were very responsive and helpful, which I really appreciated.
The hotel is located right next to Mixc Mall (at the back) and a 7-11, making it easy to grab essentials or find dining options nearby. I arrived via Didi, and the hotel was easy to locate.
I booked the Ikea Room, which was clean and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable, though the room lacked a TV and instead had a projector — I didn’t use it, but it’s a nice touch for those who want to stream content. The floor I was on looked a bit dated, and I could hear people passing by in the lobby area, so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper.
While the hotel felt safe, the Wi-Fi wasn’t reliable enough to work on my laptop, so I was glad to have my own connection.
Overall, it’s a great choice for budget-conscious travelers looking for a convenient location near a major mall and basic amenities.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! Wusi Square subway station is right downstairs, and the upcoming Line 8 subway station will also be downstairs! It's at the intersection of the old town and the city center, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere.
The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, with a microwave, fridge, induction cooker, and washing machine. However, the hygiene isn't the best, but it's acceptable if you don't have extremely high standards. Also, I'm not sure what kind of business is next door, but they have two mannequin dolls outside their entrance, which occasionally gave me a fright!
Overall, considering the location and price, it offers excellent value for money! If I come back, I'd definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it to other travelers!
