This hotel is conveniently located right next to the West Railway Station. The room decor is truly unique, and the in-room facilities are very modern. Plus, the room was super clean. The staff were also incredibly warm and accommodating, almost always fulfilling every request. Definitely a highly recommended hotel! Superb!!!

First of all, I’d like to thank the incredibly friendly staff who managed to arrange an apartment room for us on the 34th floor with a breathtaking view of the East China Sea, even though we checked in at 1 am. There was also a fruit basket in our room upon arrival, which I’d like to highlight as a very positive touch, as it makes you feel valued as a guest. Overall, our stay at the Haiyi International was wonderful; the apartment was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were exactly as described. What’s more, the location is very central on the beach promenade, so we were able to enjoy the light show from our apartment every evening or take a mere 10-minute walk to the beach. For a family of three adults, this apartment is absolutely lovely, especially as it had two bathrooms as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The only thing I would suggest improving is that the bedroom number two are separated from the living room by glass walls, and as these aren’t fully soundproof, you can hear people in the living room from the second bedroom. Another area for improvement is that, although there are curtains for the glass wall between the living room and bedroom number 2, there is a glass section next to the door to the room that cannot be covered by the curtain, which means the room is flooded with light coming through from the living room. We also noticed during our stay that the hot water runs very slowly, unfortunately – though this is more down to the building itself. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Haiyi International and would book this hotel again for our next visit to Qingdao, thanks to the friendly staff, the excellent location and the facilities.

Great location very easy access by public transportation and sightseeing great tourist attractions with very great access by public transportation! Very comfortable staying in the apartment with washing machine! Also shopping around the area with bunch of restaurants and stores! Strongly recommend for budget travellers!

Fantastic! The room was spotless, very spacious, and even had a sea view. It was fully equipped with a fridge, washing machine, and an induction cooktop. The host also recommended a local morning market (where we bought some huge abalone and sea snails in the morning!) and even lent us a pot to steam a whole batch of fresh seafood. Since our train was late, they kindly allowed us to check out two hours later, which was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!!

Although the facilities are a bit dated, the rooms are spacious, the windows are large, and it is well-maintained. Communication with the front desk is great, and they are very friendly. It is the best because the infrastructure nearby, including shopping, dining, and transportation, is excellent.

The price was a bit high for the May Day holiday, and the overall facilities didn't quite match the cost. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's especially great if you like shopping, as the MixC mall is right downstairs and very accessible. The toilet has an automatic flush, but I'm not sure if it's the water pressure or something else, but every time I sat down, some water would splash onto my legs. The sofa looks nice, but it's not very comfortable to sit on.

The front desk staff, especially a young man, was very helpful and even upgraded me to a room with a washing machine. Facilities: The apartment is great, the room is spacious and well-equipped. Environment: The Line 3 subway is right downstairs, which is very convenient. The only minor downsides are the public hygiene outside the building and the slightly less convenient access routes, but everything else is good. Cleanliness: Overall good, but the bathroom drain was a bit slow to empty. I've already reported this to the front desk and hope it will be improved. Service: Excellent.

I've stayed in many hotels, and this one is the best I've experienced recently! The room decor was cozy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, I slept great. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, and the toiletries were good quality. The front desk service was attentive; check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. The breakfast had a wide variety and tasted delicious. The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around and shopping. I truly recommend it to everyone!

The front desk staff were great, really trying their best to solve all issues and being very patient. However, there's this mysterious manager or store manager I never once spoke to from check-in to check-out. On the night of check-in, when I had a problem, the front desk said the manager would handle it tomorrow. It's understandable, as junior staff often don't have the authority or power to make decisions. The next day, it was the same; the front desk staff were afraid to give me the contact of this mysterious person in charge. I waited for a very long time, but received no call back and no solution. Eventually, I caved and said I'd just take another room. In the end, the hotel upgraded my room. On the day I checked in, as soon as I entered the room, there was a terrible stench. The room had no air conditioning, no ventilation, and the equipment kept making noise. I'm not sure if the cleaning staff overlooked it, but it seemed like garbage had accumulated from several previous guests – it was foul-smelling and stuffy. Before booking, I'd specifically asked about it, and the person on the phone in Qingdao said the temperature wouldn't be high, so it wouldn't be hot. Canceling would incur a fee. This cancellation policy effectively meant the hotel had to agree to a free cancellation, probably because they were worried about not selling out. In reality, on the day I checked in and during my stay, they were still listing rooms for sale online, so I wasn't preventing them from being fully booked. Trip.com called me back, saying that the hotel manager needed me to cancel the order myself on the first day to get a free refund for the remaining nights without penalty. I understood the manager's or store manager's intention: they were afraid I'd leave a bad review. Rest assured, I'm not someone who makes things difficult for others. I promised at the front desk that I wouldn't leave a negative review. But honestly, the management and handling of the situation showed absolutely no standard. I also replied on the front desk's WeChat, telling them I understood. Finally, I believe it was the manager or store manager who suggested moving me to their better sister property, which I appreciated. That's the correct way to handle things, rather than giving me a problematic room and refusing to change it on the same day, making me put up with it for a night, especially when I hadn't paid a penny less for the hotel room. Overall, it was decent. The hairdryer was good, and the hotel provided disposable towels. However, the curtains didn't block out light, so I'd wake up early in the morning. Downstairs, there was constant traffic and construction noise.
