Apartments in Yunnan, China

I really loved the spacious room. The rooftop view was fantastic, and it's super close to Kunming Station, just a 10-minute walk. There are also plenty of great food options nearby. I originally wanted to stay here on my way out, but my plans changed. I specifically chose it for my return trip, and if I'd had more time, I would have loved to stay a few extra days. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Kunming.

Excellent location, a short stroll to Tangzixiang metro station (including small local restaurants and convencience stores) and about 500m to Dongfeng Square and Jinbi Street tourist area. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful. Overall, good value for money, even considering the negative points below. Washing machine was a blessing, buy the spin cycle was not very strong. The loft bed was on a hard wooden platform with a thin mattress. I had a very uncomfortable sleep the first night, then discovered that the downstairs couch folded out into a sofa bed where I spent the next 4 nights. This was much more comfortable, but the side of the bed was not braced so that when I put my weight on the edge to get up, the whole thing tilted down to the floor, tumbling me out. Cleanliness was so-so - benchtops etc were clean but there was quite heavy dust on, for instance, the loft bulkhead ledges (which I cleaned to hang my smalls on to dry) and the window frames. Corners in the bathroom and shower also left something to be desired. The whole apartment could do with a very thorough deep clean. Cupboards, kitchen joinery, wardrobes etc were showing their age. A number of the walls and skirting boards had been painted with undercoat, so perhaps the owners are in the process of renovating. If so, it would be much nicer. Overall, for a single man staying over Chinese New Year, it was acceptable - especially for the price. But I wouldn't take my wife there if we came back to Kunming.

The room was spacious. The front desk staff was very nice when we checked in and immediately helped us with any issues we had. There's one room downstairs and two upstairs, each with its own bathroom. The living room is also very large, and there's a washing machine. Food delivery is super convenient, they bring it right to your door. Directly across the street is a local market, so finding food downstairs is a breeze, and getting a taxi anywhere is also very easy. Plus, afternoon tea was delivered to our room, which was lovely! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming!

The room is very close to the train station, just a short walk away. There are also specialty shops nearby. The front desk lady was very patient and helped me get a band-aid, and also enthusiastically recommended the Shuanglong shopping mall and restaurants next door. Definitely worth recommending!

I have to say, choosing Novotel Living over a hotel for our family trip was an incredibly smart decision. Here's my review: **Service:** This deserves a commendation first and foremost. The staff were available 24/7, ready to assist with anything we needed. When we first checked in, a bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working. After informing the front desk, it was fixed by the time we returned from dinner. The apartment has an induction cooker for heating food, and when we requested pots, bowls, and cutlery from the front desk, they were delivered immediately. The service was absolutely fantastic! **Facilities:** The apartment's facilities are brand new. The refrigerator, washing machine, and range hood are all Haier brand appliances, and all the bathroom fixtures are German Villeroy & Boch. The decor, construction materials, and furniture selection were also very thoughtful. Whether it was the sofa, chairs, or bed, everything was super comfortable! **Cleanliness:** Housekeeping cleaned promptly and thoroughly every day. Towels, laundry detergent, toiletries, and drinking water were replenished regularly, and if we needed more, they delivered it right away! **Location:** The hotel apartment is right outside Exit A of Fuhai Station on Metro Line 5. It's incredibly convenient, yet without the noise and traffic congestion of tourist areas. An excellent choice of location! What's more, we initially booked a standard family room, but they spontaneously upgraded us to a free loft apartment! It had independent bedrooms on two levels and two bathrooms, which my family absolutely loved. Thank you for this wonderful surprise! I genuinely highly recommend this to families traveling with children; it's absolutely kid-friendly. A big thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Stepping into the room, the cozy ambiance immediately melted away my travel fatigue. The bed was as soft as a cloud, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries had a delightful scent. The view from the window was picturesque, and the service was attentive and thoughtful, truly making me feel at home. The staff were warm, polite, and always ready to assist. Excellent value for money, I had a very comfortable stay here and highly recommend it!

Staff is very friendly. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. When I wasn't feeling well, they advised me on seeing a doctor and even checked on my condition the next day to see if I was improving; they were always available to answer any questions. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if I have the chance. the location is best you can find any food all night.

My overall experience at the Kunming Lichi Hotel was great. The environment was clean and elegant, with a quiet and comfortable atmosphere that made my stay very relaxing. The room decor is well-designed, the service is thoughtful and responsive, and the price is incredibly competitive. Its central location makes it convenient to get anywhere. There's a shopping mall and a Hema Fresh supermarket right across the street, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. It's comfortable for both business trips and leisure travel, and especially suitable for long stays. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it!

This is high rise residential area, with big community, school, pop up market, food stalls, restaurants, 10 minute walk to metro Lianda Station, University Town South zone (Line1) and near Kunming South Railway Station. It is very convenient to stay here when you are expecting the early train for another cities. I access route to Vientian, Laos. You can see hotel signage Infront of building. Inside on G floor, there is a reception of the building, you can ask for the hotel name and the man will advise you go to hotel lobby on 16th floor. Staff is friendly (please use translator app for Chinese) The boss also recommended me the sightseeing places nearby. I stay 4 nights feel like home, comfort bed and amenities are well equipped, emergency Oxygen masks, TV, kettles, hot shower is immediate when need.
