Hotel near Dafni,Central Athens

This apartment building is on the side of the road, the location is very convenient, there is a big eye supermarket when you go out, a few hundred meters walk from the subway station, and you can take three or four stops to the Acropolis and Constitution Square. The apartment is very new, the room is not big, but the sparrow is small and complete, very practical and exquisite, the bath water is great, there is an induction cooker and range hood, you can make simple meals. The Wi-Fi in the room was very powerful and fast. Give us the room on the second floor, no street, very quiet. There is a waiter in the door, and a lot of messages must be filled in on the mobile phone for the first time. There is an elevator. The password for the apartment door is not on the order, you need to download the APP or contact the hotel to get it.

This place is great as it’s a combination of a hotel and an apartment. You get totally clean, spacious rooms with a kitchen (including washing machine), bathroom, big internet tv, and a balcony. They have very few staff which I guess is how they keep it so cheap. Definitely no complaints.

Very near to the Monastiraki train station surrounded by shops and restaurants. We walked to all the attractions we wanna see, there are always things to see along the way, so didn’t feel too bad. There is a nice outdoor terrace inside the bedroom itself, although without view, is quite nice to have breakfast and chill out in the morning before we start our day. There is also lift in the premise so don’t have to worry about climbing up with luggage.

Fully corresponds to the price of quality - clean sausages and lingerie; from what can be improved - the quality of gender cleaning and lack of a shower locker

Being just one block south of Syntagma Square, it is well located and within walking distance to most Athens attractions. The section of the road to the entrance is a bit dark and quiet at night though we never felt unsafe. Despite the central location, our room is quiet. Room is clean and spacious and shower is good. Reception is open during office hours only but this was not a problem for us. There is a kitchen which we find useful but we miss a microwave.

In general the stay was nice, the room was clean and with a big space, the shower was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. However the price for the breakfast in the trip.com was 5€ per person, at the hotel we asked to pay 15€ per person, triple the price!!! I showed the price in the trip.com to the reception. Regards

MMaoshaI stayed here for two nights and overall had a very nice experience. The flat is spacious, modern, and feels brand new. All the facilities are clean and well organized. We booked just an hour before check-in, so there was a slight delay while we contacted the company to get the access code. It was a bit of a hassle, but if you arrive a day earlier or book in advance, it should be much smoother. That said, there were a few issues worth noting. The pillows were quite high and uncomfortable, which made it difficult for us to sleep well. Some parts of the lighting system weren’t working properly, and both bathroom drains had issues — by the last night, there was a strong unpleasant smell coming from them. The location is another factor to consider. It’s quite far from the city center, and the surrounding neighborhood feels very local and underdeveloped. While that can be a plus if you’re looking for a more authentic, residential area, there aren’t many good restaurants or attractions nearby. We had to rely on taxis to get around, so it’s not the most convenient place if you’re hoping to explore the city easily.

GGuest UserLocation, location, location! Athena Color Cube apartments are located on the 4th floor and the building is only within a 5-min walk to Monastiraski metro station which has direct service to the airport. There are numerous restaurants nearby and the vicinity is vibrant all the times. There is no receptionist and all communication is done via the chat window. The operator is always prompt to reply to our questions and is very friendly. As to the Climate Resilience Tax which is €8 per night, we ended up handing to the room cleaning lady up on our check-out. The apartment we stayed (Aqua) is very spacious with a mini kitchen. And most importantly, it's spotlessly clean! I walked with bare feet and didn't feel any dust at all. Having the convience of a luggage storage room on the same floor, it is definitely an extra perk. Nevertheless, there are some draw backs: (1) There isn't any shower cubical door in the toilet so after shower, the floor will be all wet and slippery. We have to wipe it dry after use. (2) It takes at least 20 mins to heat up the ”water boiler”, and is only good for one person (one 15-20min shower). On the first night, we didn't know we have to press it on again for reheating after the first person has finished using, so the water was very cold when it comes to the second person's turn. On the second night, we knew the trick already and were all good to enjoy hot water throughout. (3) There are steps from the sofa area to the bed and to the kitchen/toilet. One has to be extra cautious particularly if going to the toilet in the middle of the night is needed. Overall, we recommend this lovely apartment.

YyueeeVery good hotel, location is very close to the Acropolis, breakfast is also great, you can order your own food. The entrance is difficult to find, because the has a small sign, be careful not to miss it. There's a restaurant and bar or something. It's probably a little noisy at night.

GGuest UserLoft room 602 is a near perfect space. Kitchenette is complete with a dishwasher and everything you need for a kitchenette. The living room is comfortable. The bathroom is not ensuite, if that matters to you. The bedroom has a small wardrobe but with neither hanging space nor hangers. There are 2 balconies, one smaller one by the bedroom and a full length apartment access balcony on the other that gives you a great view and has a retractable awning. All guests have access to the roof top viewing deck, one floor above the highest room floor (6th floor) accessible via stairs with sweeping views of the Acropolis and other vistas. The location is an artistic and local one. We understood that the noise from the ground level cafe/bar/traffic may be an issue but we had no issues on this floor. It's quiet. We loved this area, there's a unique charm to it that's rather bohemian. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. Everything else you may need, a concierge service is contactable via WhatsApp, they don't do calls very well. Response time is quick in the daytime. Special needs accessibility may be an issue at the main door of the apartment complex has a step with no ramp and the same for the stairs-only roof top deck.

SStephen1966Accommodation was exactly as described. Clean and tidy with lots of space. The location was great with only short walks to more popular locations and sites. There's plenty of local restaurants and cafes which was ideal for 10 days. We saw warnings about avoiding back streets but actually found a really nice fish restaurant, nice church with kids playing in the streets. There were also 2 reasonable supermarkets in the vicinity, better value than the multiple minimarts in the area. You are right next to the metro if you don't want to walk. You can easily get to and from the airport for 9 euros with only one change. We did the bus tour which operate from across the road. There was a lot of homeless but that was more between the apartment and Omonia. You see them but they're not aggressive or demanding. I've saw a lot worse elsewhere especially in the UK. Couldn't recommend enough, especially for the price. The staff were very friendly, we didn't need to contact them for anything and they only contacted for cleaning and check in and out. The Christmas village was actually the highlight although seeing a tortoise near the Parthenon was a close second.

GGuest UserThe room is clean and comfortable, with a small balcony. The most important thing is that it is very close to the Acropolis and Syntagma Square. The X95 bus to the airport is nearby, as is the subway. Although breakfast is not included, there is a coffee machine in the room. The pedestrian street is right in front and is very lively at night. Because it is across the street from the pedestrian street, it is still very quiet at night. All in all, very satisfied!

GGuest UserLocation is great for multi purposes. Lots of food and coffee shops around . Walking distance to art, music and history places. Great for visits to Evaggelismos hospital. Need upgrade the hair dryer and the fridge also needs to be programmed to be a bit cooler than it is. Clean but the bathroom floor needed a bit more effort (!) - the hose of the hair dryer too, Towels smelled strongly of disinfectant , made you feel safe but not pleasant. Neutral breakfast, basic actually, not for picky eaters but satisfying a hungry stomach. Tv was not offering movies' rental. Wi fi really good for streaming. Helpful staff both front desk , dinning room attendants and handyman/housekeeping. Great touch the sage from Crete at the coffee tray. Toiletries offered a body balm - not bad at all

GGuest UserOverall I was somewhat disappointed with the Elliot Petralona. Although the apartments are new, modern and well appointed, it lacks atmosphere and the location is not ideal. Firstly, there is no reception, so it feels very impersonal. Someone will make contact through WhatsApp, and you can leave luggage before check-in and after check-out, but besides a few tables and chairs there are no communal facilities, not even a toilet. The property is in the wrong part of what is a lovely neighborhood - it is about a 15 to 20 minute walk to where the restaurants and bars are. Close by there is nothing, except a small supermarket. The area did not feel particularly safe to me, and the street it is located on was very dirty, in fact, the most dirty area I saw in Athens during my visit. My apartment was not very cosy, even though it had all the equipment one could need for a short stay. The bathroom and lounge/kitchen is dark, and especially in the bathroom the lighting is not well placed. Next time I will stay more central; closer to tourist attractions and amenities.
