It is a very nice hotel, however the accomodation vs the price can be tricky. The room is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The bed covers are a little bit short though. The heat worked perfectly and the water temperature was good. The walls might be better with new painting as they have a lot of marks. The hotel provides towels, razors ,q tips, toothbrush and a cone.

Here's a breakdown of my stay: **Location:** To get there, take bus 208 or 206 from Kyoto JR Station and alight at 'Hakubutsukan Sanjusangendo-mae' (Museum Sanjusangendo Front). It's about a ten-minute walk from there. **Price:** I paid HKD 1590 for two nights in a two-bedroom suite, which works out to HKD 265 per person per night. Excellent value for money, highly recommend booking this place. **Facilities:** The room was quite spacious, with enough room to open two 26-inch suitcases. The kitchen is cleverly tucked away under a counter, you just lift the countertop to access it. It's fully equipped, though the only downside is the lack of a full-length mirror. **Bathroom:** The bathroom isn't huge, but it has a separate wet and dry area. The bathtub allows you to control the water volume and temperature electronically for a soak. However, if you turn up the shower's water pressure, it starts running cold, so the water temperature can be a bit inconsistent. **Lobby:** The lobby is spacious and offers complimentary disposable toiletries. There are also two washing machines with detergent pods and a dryer function. The only drawback is that check-in times are limited, so be sure to check those details. Additionally, you can find a luggage delivery service at the guest services center, but that also has time restrictions.

I had a wonderful stay at Tanimachikun HOTEL Kyoto Station Higashi 29! The location is very convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby facilities, making travel around Kyoto very easy. A special thank you to Yusaku and Kai for their kind and enthusiastic help ❤️ They patiently assisted us with the luggage delivery process and helped us fill out all the necessary forms smoothly. Their service was incredibly thoughtful and truly appreciated! One very important thing for me was how exceptionally clean the room was ✨ As someone who is sensitive to dust, I usually have trouble sleeping in hotels, but I was able to sleep comfortably and peacefully here. That alone made the stay perfect for me. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto!

The service from Manager Liu and Xiao Liu was very thoughtful. Being Chinese, communication was very easy. They provided complimentary clear umbrellas and trash bags, which was a nice touch. The room was quite spacious; we could open two suitcases. The cleanliness could be improved, though. The provided cutlery, cookware, and cutting board weren't clean; there were oily residues from previous cooking. There were also hairs on the bathroom wall. I'd suggest they replace the hairdryer with one that has a stronger airflow. The bathroom's heater/dryer unit had a drying function with a hanging rod, which was excellent – clothes dried overnight. The kitchen's range hood was very powerful; there was no smoky smell when we grilled. The location is great. It's just one subway stop to Shijo, which is more convenient than my previous stay in Karasuma. There's also a Life supermarket two bus stops away, and plenty of dining options downstairs.

Everything was pretty good. The heater took a little while to warm up but once it did, it was very cozy. There's a small balcony, and amenities like a washing machine and kitchen, complete with laundry detergent pods and dish soap. The luggage delivery service was excellent. The service center is near Kyoto Station, and if you drop off your luggage before 4 PM, they'll deliver it to your hotel room for free. It would be even better if they offered a similar service for check-out, sending luggage back to the service center. Traveling solo with a suitcase is really inconvenient, especially since you can't take luggage on buses in Kyoto. There's also a pretty good ramen shop nearby.

This is a really good place for families to stay. The exterior is an old house, but the interior is modern, so it's really nice. There were two buildings attached. The annex was a modern room and there were two Japanese rooms in the main building. I booked a Japanese Western room for 3 nights, but I was assigned to a Japanese-style room in the main building. The 2 nights in the room I booked had already been booked differently, so I moved to the last one night. But the staff who were there at that time handled it really well, and even the Korean staff came from afar and responded. Although it is an unmanned hotel, I think that important problems are actively handled, so I trusted them more. Thank you very much. And the important thing is that both types of rooms are very comfortable and nice. :) I recommend Japanese-style rooms (I can't see them on Trip.com ㅜㅠ I think they are in Agoda) for those who want to stay in the carriage. The Japanese Western Room has a terrace, can open the window, and the bathtub is also made of windows. Thanks to that, I woke up in the morning with a really pleasant scenery. Every time I go to Kyoto, I want to go to the dormitory, and I recommend it around. It's very close to Nijo station and the bus stop is also very close. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! This hotel is incredibly comfortable, very new, and spacious. The service is also very polite! The coffee machine downstairs offers free matcha lattes, which I made sure to drink every day!

The hotel's overall design is very comfortable. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom are great, and there's a generous supply of towels. They also provide plenty of hangers, and the in-room washer and dryer are a real lifesaver for long trips. During my five-day stay, the room was cleaned once. The simple kitchen appliances are also excellent, and the room setup matches the website description perfectly. The bed is just the right firmness, and the air conditioning is very stable. My only minor complaints are that the cutlery wasn't perfectly clean, and some towels had stains. The biggest drawback is the lack of a small table for dining. However, the overall experience was very good. The hotel is conveniently located near a convenience store and supermarket, and transportation is very accessible. Definitely recommended!

Location is a solid 15min walk from kyoto station. Receptionist was cold when first arrived. Not much help was provided. Public facilities include microwave, oven and some utensils. free washing machine with detergent. Room was spacious for 2 easily.
