Hotel were offering late checkouts to guests who left 5* reviews, so I feel that the reviews have been artificially inflated by people rating 5* so that they can get late checkout. Location was quite far from the JR Namba station and even further from the metro Namba station. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom was tiny, kitchenette had a raised lip which was easy to trip over or stub your toes on. However, the size of the room was good, there was a good amount of space. It would be ok to spend a night or two here but I think we were there 5 nights which wasn’t great with the uncomfortable bed. When we checked in we were told a room number of an uncleaned room and had to ring out of hours to swap rooms, but that was all resolved quickly by the hotel. Also to note, the keyboxes didn’t feel very safe/ secure because the codes followed a pattern (so if you knew one you’d know the other rooms), but we didn’t use the lockbox except for when we checked in so it didn’t affect us, but just something to consider. Overall it was ok for a budget hotel but I think the reviews make it seem too good to be true!

The room was small but pretty clean. The only downside was no bathtub, which felt a bit strange for a trip to Japan! The soundproofing wasn't great – I could hear the subway and noises from the next room, so light sleepers should be aware. However, the bed and pillows were really comfortable! The location was excellent, less than a 10-minute walk straight to the subway, and there's a large supermarket right across the street.

Overall good experience and good stay. Hotel lobby have locker which is convenient for us to put keep luggage before check in and after check out. Locker price is reasonable. The location is good too, nearby have a few train stations. Only 1 stop to Namba. Walking distance to Tennoji.

The shower and washroom facilities at this accommodation were incredibly comfortable. The bedding, towels, and amenities were also beyond what you'd expect from a decent hotel. Especially, the mattress on the bed was super comfortable! I would definitely request to stay here again. Thanks to the provider! 🪴🪴🪴

Everything about the environment was great, except the AC heating wasn't very good. Other than that, the hotel was very clean and the location was excellent. Turn right out of the hotel and it's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, which is only one stop from Namba. I was there for a concert, and it was also just one stop from the Kyocera Dome, which was incredibly convenient. If I had any questions, the host replied to emails very promptly. My hairdryer broke in my room, and when I told the host, she immediately took care of it and brought a new one the very next day.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line (purple line), Miyakojima Station, but it might be a little far from the city center. If you don't mind, it's not a problem as the Osaka Metro connects everywhere. The hotel has self-check-in and check-out, which is great – no need to talk to staff! 555 I recommend leaving before 10 am, otherwise you'll find the housekeeper trying to clean. I told them I'd be leaving in an hour, but they kept trying to clean (maybe because they didn't understand English). In short, I left my towel, cup, and a note asking for extra green tea on the door. After that, the housekeeper didn't bother me anymore; they just hung my things on the door instead. It was a good introduction, great! Overall, the price is good, it's clean, and the minimalist room is small, but fine. I was just there to sleep, so I left at 6 pm and came back at 11 pm – no big deal! 😘 I was too busy sightseeing to take any hotel review photos, sorry everyone!

They let me check in early since my room was ready before the official check-in time. The kitchen, washing machine, and separate toilet and bathroom with a dedicated washing area were great perks. Most importantly, the bathroom had a drying function, which was incredibly helpful for drying laundry every day. The room was spacious, easily accommodating three beds, and felt brand new and clean. Since it's a hotel where many guests stay for multiple nights, here are some services I wish they offered: * If you stay for several nights without cleaning, hair on the floor becomes noticeable, so a floor mop would be nice. * Pajamas would be appreciated. * A deodorizer would be good. * It would be great if laundry detergent was provided. * More than one room key card would be helpful. * More hangers would be better. * A bath chair in the bathroom would have been a nice addition. If these points were covered, it would have been perfect. Nevertheless, I had a pleasant and well-priced stay, so I definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent value for money, highly recommended for families. It has a kitchen, and the front desk staff speak Chinese and are available 24 hours, which is super convenient for late arrivals. The place is clean and hygienic. The front desk staff are all very enthusiastic. From Kansai Airport, it takes over 10 minutes to walk to Tenkachaya or Shin-Imamiya. Dobutsuen-mae Station is the closest subway station, but it's still about a 7-8 minute walk. It's convenient for getting around everywhere by public transport. I walked to Tennoji in about 25 minutes. When walking to Dobutsuen-mae Station, you pass by a triangular park with an izakaya next to it where many people drink. At night, I saw a lot of drunk people. The front desk told me not to worry, as they are just drunk. That area is essentially a gathering place for Japan's vulnerable population, with a police station and fire station nearby, so you often hear fire trucks.

My recent stay was incredibly satisfying. The hotel's self-check-in service was efficient and convenient; the whole process was seamless, and I quickly completed the formalities, got my room card, and headed to my room. Upon entering the room, I found all the facilities to be well-appointed. From the soft and comfortable large bed to the neat and clean toiletries and fully functional electrical appliances, every detail reflected thoughtfulness and care. The hotel's surroundings are also quite pleasant, with lush trees providing fresh air. The streets weren't filled with noisy traffic or bustling crowds, and it remained very quiet even at night. The serene atmosphere allowed me to fully relax and enjoy a good night's sleep, completely undisturbed by external factors.

Compared to places back home, it's definitely on the smaller side, but for Japan, the size is actually quite acceptable. It wasn't as cramped or dated as I'd imagined. With the lights on, it felt quite cozy, and the window provided good natural light. My only minor gripes were the lack of complimentary water and that housekeeping only came every three days. On the plus side, there's a 7-Eleven nearby, which is super convenient, and it's also very close to Tenkachaya Station. The neighborhood is residential and felt very safe, completely unlike what some online comments suggest about the 'western district' being full of homeless people; even at 9 or 10 PM, there were no drunks or homeless individuals around. Luggage storage is under camera surveillance with no staff supervision, which initially made me a little worried, but my bags were perfectly safe after half a day. All in all, it's very affordable and offers excellent value for money. 🫶

GGuest UserOverall, the accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. The location was excellent and very convenient. The room was quite spacious, making it perfect for staying with family or friends. I especially liked that there was a washing machine in the bathroom, and it even came with laundry detergent—everything we needed was provided. Although the check-out time was 10:00 AM, we requested an extension and they kindly allowed us to stay until 12:00 PM free of charge, which we really appreciated. It was truly a great choice. The place was very cozy, and the bed was large and extremely comfortable.

AAmeliaKuruKaraPros: 1. Room and toilet is clean and amenities are provided. Will not provide picture of the rooms as is exactly like in the picture. 2. Soundproof was actually good as there is a small balcony overseeing train station and I like the view of it. 3. Walking distance, approx 10 mins or more depending on your walking speed to Tsutentaku, Shinsekai or Donki. 4. I highly would like to say “Arigato” and praise the host for responding to all my questions before checking in and during my check-in progress (when I encounter issue). They respond to all my queries on time. 5. The train station located nearby has JR, Metro or Nankai lines, which can bring you directly to Minoh-Kayano Station, Tennoji, Namba, Umeda, Osaka or Kansai Airport. A proper planning is require to take your require train. Cons: 1. We have 2 medium and 1 small luggages and barely can open full 2 medium luggage despite having a closet. 1 small luggage can be open fully in the middle between the 2 beds but it will block the walking to the balcony (if require to go there). 2. The kitchen and toilet area, gets quite cold during the night and the heater cannot reach that area. Not sure if the floor has a warmer. 3. Despite there is a train station nearby, still require to walk approx. 8 mins above depending on your walking speed. If you are coming with JR train, there were no lift or escalator at the nearby exit to the stay. We had to carry all the luggages down till the exit. However, if you are taking Nankai lines to the airport, then no issue with the luggage as there are 1 lift operating at the nearby entrance. 4. The road at night gets quite lonely and scary if you are walking alone but I believe is alright in Japan. 5. No eateries/restaurants and convenience mart within the 5 mins walk. Overall, I enjoy my stay here and I always stay at this area during my travel to Osaka due to lesser crowd and convenience to reach airport. One thing to note, do complete all the pre-registration that the host has email you in order for a smooth check-in. Again, I would like to thank the host for the great hospitality and responding to my queries.

GGuest UserThe place was ok but had 2 big problems. 1) ‘check in’ is *******!! It asks you to check in before online .. I did this. It also asks for a passport picture which I don’t need because I’m resident.. It should ask that before it asks me for a passport photo.. i But when you get to the hotel it asks you to do the same exact check- in process again!!! Why? very very stupid!! It then asks for information about guest 2… I was a solo traveler… there is no second traveler!! But you can’t skip it or change it!! I had to enter my information twice… very very very stupid and inept.. 2) the room smelled like mildew… very strong stench..

GGuest UserVery impressed: A Wonderful Stay – Exceeded Expectations! We were very impressed with our stay at this hotel in Japan. Although it’s an unmanned, room-only hotel with self check-in starting at 4 PM, our experience went far beyond our expectations. We arrived early with a large amount of luggage—five large suitcases and four smaller bags—and hoped to just drop them off before check-in. Fortunately, we met a hotel worker, who we believe was a housekeeper. She was incredibly kind and helpful. She immediately contacted a hotel staff member and kindly offered to take care of all our luggage, bringing it up to our room after it had been cleaned. She also explained the self check-in procedures and how to access the building, which was very helpful since there are no staff members normally present. We didn’t expect that level of support at all—it was clearly not part of her job, but she helped us willingly and with such a great attitude. We’re very grateful for her kindness. The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location was fantastic—close to various train lines (railway, subway, and local), duty-free shops, convenience stores, and many other attractions. Highly recommended! We’d definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserFirst, the entrance code is 5895*. The booking site's email didn't contain the code, and the hotel's own email with the code only arrived on the evening of check-in, which caused a bit of hassle. Be aware that early entry isn't possible without the housekeeper present. The manager is on-site from 3 PM to 10 PM. The location is excellent, just one subway stop from Namba via the Rapit line to Shin-Imamiya Station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk. It's a pleasant stroll on a cool day, but I'd definitely advise against it in hot weather. The manager was very kind. I appreciated having a washing machine with detergent and hangers. While there's no separate fabric softener, the detergent provided seems to be an all-in-one type. A microwave, coffee maker, and induction cooktop are provided, along with two complimentary bottles of water. All essential toiletries—shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, and toothpaste—are fully provided. There's a convenience store right by the subway entrance and two large supermarkets nearby. Overall, I was satisfied with everything except for the initial slightly tricky entry.

TTwinkleShinesGreat location! easy to access from Kansai airport. Cosy room with nice breakfast spread. It’s a service apartment so there is a washing machine with 2 laundry pods in the room, they do provide toothbrush and hair brush. Helpful staff with hospitality spirit. They do provide parking (chargeable JPY2000 per day) within walking distance. Convenient stores and restaurants are just at doorstep, McDonald is just across the street. Will definitely come back again.

GGuest UserTop location for the price if you are planning Expo 2025 visits - the apartments is 10 mins walk from the station in a quite residential neighborhood and 3 stops away from Yumeshima station where the event is held. Nearby you can find both supermarkets and convenience stores as well as nice local restaurants and cafes, including a not so crowded Kura Sushi. The apartment is tiny and not very convenient if you’re not used to confined spaces, but it’s still functional. The conditioner, washing machine, tv and other appliances were working properly. The bed however wasn’t very comfortable since the mattress was a bit outdated and sagging in the middle. It is also worth keeping in mind that the walls are paper thin and you could hear basically everything your neighbors are doing. And the neighbors probably might hear you too if you are not quite enough. Generally it is a typical low-budget Japanese apartment in a residential neighborhood, which might be a nice experience if you’re coming as a tourist and would like to experience a token of local lifestyle.

GGuest UserIt's about a 10-minute walk from Namba Station. Everything is fine, but there's no separate sink in the bathroom. I had to use the kitchen sink to wash my face, and since there's no mirror there, it was a bit inconvenient. The second morning, the building's alarm rang for a long time, so I was very anxious and scared. I thought there was an earthquake. Fortunately, it was a fire drill, but it could happen again, so it's good to know before you go.
