Hi. My wife and I bought this house 4years ago and it came with 2 semi attached rental units. They are now up and running after a bit of work and bringing up to date. 2 lovely rooms one with a view of Golden Bay and the other a view of the driveway. the Blue Moon is the one with the view of the driveway Hence the difference in price. Great place to stay for visiting what’s around here and there is plenty to see no matter what direction you go. Beautiful landscaped grounds with a lake used for swimming, cooking and relaxing. Watch the sunset at the resort-like lake lit up with solar lights at night and a bush bath to relax in. We are the gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park and are located close to Motueka township, Mapua Village and the Motueka Marina. It is suitable for both summer and winter with both log burner and heat pump, and is suitably equipped for either short or long stay.The open plan living area includes Smart TV and Netflix for your entertainment . There are 2 bikes here which you are welcome to use and a bike shed if you want to bring your own. There is off street parking for the car too.If the nights get a bit chilly there is a toasty warm Studio wood fire (which I love), very very cosy.The Great Taste Cycle Trail: We are just a couple of minutes from the Wharf where the Mapua Ferry carries people and their bikes connecting Mapua to Rabbit Is as part of the cycle trail linking to Nelson and the other way to Kaiteriteri.The Wharf and the village has a variety of unique shops show casing local artists work, restaurants and cafes fish and chip shop and the Golden Bear Brewery (boutique brewery) often has live music for you to kick back relax and enjoy. I want to mention too that Godwits migrate all the way from Alaska (11000km) to spent time with us and they come to our estuary which is at the end of our street. I find that amazing. Glenwai is a private, fully insulated, double glazed and warm apartment close to the beach. It is in a very quiet location surrounded by an extensive landscaped garden. It has its own private entrance, and ensuite bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. Easy walk to the Motueka Golf course and the town cafes.
