I just needed to stay overnight for the ease of being close to the train station! But knowing liege I can say that you’d easily get into city center or park de la boverie and obviously being next to the train station is a plus.
It is a very modern hostel and on the very high end when it comes to value/price. Most other places i’ve looked at are heavily overpriced!
Each bed has a set of curtains and connectivity plugs and a lamp. The super plus is the huge locker associated to your bed for which you do not need your own lock put just the keycard.
Everything was clean. I only had one person sharing the room with me but would expect a little bit of a queue for toilet/shower in the morning with 8 people for one
Hotel de la Couronne Liege is right in front of Gare de Liege Guillemins and just next to the Flixbus stop, so if you're just dropping by Liege, the location is perfect. There's a Carrefour Express next door and a Burger King. Gare de Liege Guillemins and the hotel are somewhat far from the museums and historical locations but the city area/Liege is so small and navigable that it's not a big deal. Couronne hotel is one of those rare European boutique hotels that still maintain comfortably sized rooms. Rooms at this price range are often quite small (even in newer European and Asian 3-star hotels) so that's a plus. Couronne is no frills (no coffee, tea, minibar, etc) but the beds and bath are clean and comfortable. Plus, there's a nice airy salon on the first floor where those staying at the hotel can sit and lounge around. There are plenty of fry-ups, a great Japanese restaurant (Nagoya), and an Aldi close by. I had a bad allergy on my second night and the staff at 1 am were helpful despite my limited French. I'm not the best at picking hotels, but Hotel de la Couronne was a good choice for my two nights.
The hotel room is very big in Europe. The navigation made a mistake and I parked the car above a nearby supermarket. I accidentally saved a night's parking fee.
Very convenient location, friendly service from the counter staff, simple and fast check-in and check-out process, the room is not big but clean, the lobby is very comfortable, and the price is not expensive!
Helpful reception personnel and overall a pleasant stay. Good shower and nice clean rooms. The sleeping couch was not so fine to sleep on but overall good. Breakfast was outstanding. Unfortunately the swimming pool was not included in the room price. Opening hours 8-22 was in my opinion too late to open in the morning.
This is a large hotel, about a 40-minute walk from Central Station. We did not use the bus, but it was only a short walk from the Baviere bus stop. I am very friendly because I told me how to reach the hotel by email. I can recommend it to self-catering people because I have a kitchen with breakfast.
Perfect and centrally located at the train station and super for 4 people in a room, 20 minutes to the old town are not too far for it. We are happy to come back
The room is very artistic, with an aesthetic experience for adults. The spa is also very good. The deepest and clearest swimming pool I have ever seen in Belgium. The spa is actually mainly for outdoor courses, which often occupy half of the swimming pool. Guests of this hotel need to change into swimwear and bathrobes in the room. The room service is almost zero. Even the disposable chocolates were not refilled for two days, and the water was also 200 or 250 ml Tetra Pak pillow bags. It feels like taking an Eastern Airlines flight.
Super bij de airport, voor de rest is er helaas niets te beleven

GGuest UserThe facilities were perfect, and it was comfortable to have a cable car dedicated to guests who could go directly to therme in the bathrobe figure.
However, despite the advance payment via Trip.com, a deposit was charged 50 euros at check-in. It was said that it was refunded after the adjustment of room service etc. However, the refrigerator was empty. There should be no additional. I thought it would be paid back at check-out, but it was said that it would be refunded via the card company after 2 - 3 days. However, even after a week, it has not yet been refunded.

YYmanWe had a good stay at Aux Etangs. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean and quiet. It’s a good location to explore the Ardennes region. Acces by car is good but public transport might be challenging. As there are not a lot of eateries nearby we ate at the connected restaurant. The food was good but the waitress for our table was not very helpful. We asked if she could speak slower but she just continued at the same rate. We felt we didn’t get the same level of service compared to the other tables due to our fluency in French. In the end: nice food but upgrade your French first. We would come back for the hotel but not the restaurant.
GGuest UserGreat hotel with kind and helpful staff. The beds are huge and comfortable. Bar/social area is nice and quality of breakfast is quite good. However, the breakfast area is too small on a weekend when everyone crawls toward the buffet around 9:30.
GGuest UserExcellent stay!! Staffs are all so welcoming and friendly. After check in they will guide you to the room and do a little introduction of the surrounding areas as well as hotel’s amenities. Room is very specious and cosy. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, which were both great. Food is delicious, has lots of selections of wines, and the service makes you feel like at home. Would definitely want to come back again. Highly recommend this lovely place to everyone.
GGuest UserLocation is excellent, room was also nice but having a see through door to the shower can be kinda awkward if not travelling as couple - can easily be solved with a translucent film over the door. Service was good but luggage is stored in a hallway that anyone can access, which doesn't feel safe. It was put in a closed backroom after I asked, but it would be better if this was standard.
