Best location right next to Metro subway station Songhua Road station Exit B. Look for Bld 3 and it's on the 17, 18 floor. The receptionist treats you like a VIP guest from the. moment you arrive. Complimentary afternoon tea and other surprises on arrival. Smart room with smart everything from toilet to movie projector. Very easy to book 1 to 4 days tours with China Travel Service in Bld 5, or via brochures located in reception or ground floor. We love this art deco boutique hotel so much that we stay ed at the beginning and end of our travel in Guizhou for a total of four nights with four nights tour throughout Guizhou due to the vast distances between attractions. We were able to store our large luggage with them for four nights. They even packed a free breakfast for us on the day of our four nights tour as our coach departed at 06:00 am. I would definitely recommend this hotel as the No. 1 choice for anyone coming to Guizhou. Allow yourself 5-7 days to take in all the natural sceneries that Guizhou offers.

This hotel is conveniently located in Building 7 of the Huaguoyuan CBD. There's a lively night market right downstairs every evening, making it super convenient for dining. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful. Guizhou's beautiful mountains and rivers, along with the wonderfully cool temperatures, truly made for a fantastic experience. Plus, the cat butler was absolutely adorable!

The room was spacious and bright with an excellent view, overlooking Dongshan Temple to the east and Jiaxiu Tower to the south. An extra bed cost 350 RMB and included breakfast. Room service was excellent; they provided an abundance of bottled water daily, more than we could possibly drink. The executive lounge's afternoon tea selection was a bit sparse, and wine wasn't available during happy hour. However, the lounge itself was usually quiet with few diners. Unlike a resort hotel with abundant dining choices, the main dining areas elsewhere in the hotel were still absolutely packed. Breakfast leaned heavily towards Guizhou cuisine, and many dishes were unfamiliar or not to my liking. Items like crispy pork cracklings and pork intestines were common, and approximately 80% of the Chinese hot dishes were spicy. The steamed bun selection was consistently unvaried, offering just pork buns and custard buns, and their taste was mediocre. After eating for five consecutive days, by the last two days, the food had become completely unappetizing, and I was quite tired of it. Despite the breakfast issues, I extended my stay for another three nights, primarily because of the excellent room and service.

In November 2025, a group of five of us, all foreigners in our sixties with some mobility issues, visited Guizhou for the first time. Our first night was spent at a guesthouse on the flat ground at the foot of the Miao Village. For our second night, wanting a better view of the beautiful Miao Village night scenery, we considered several guesthouses on the mountain before finally choosing this one. On the afternoon of our check-in, the manager personally brought two other people to our first guesthouse to help us with our luggage. Our bags were quite large and heavy, but the three young people didn't hesitate, didn't show any displeasure, and had absolutely no reservations. Their attitude was excellent; they smoothly carried our luggage up to the mountain guesthouse and placed it in our rooms without a word. After we settled in, the guesthouse owner even treated us to some excellent Guizhou tea. The next morning, as we had an early departure, the guesthouse manager woke up early to prepare a rich and delicious breakfast for us. When we checked out, they again helped us carry our luggage down the mountain and waited until our van arrived and our luggage was loaded before they left. Every staff member at this guesthouse, especially the manager, provided service that was not just satisfactory, but truly deserving of high praise! The room views were also excellent, and they offered free Miao ethnic costumes for photos, as well as an elegantly decorated platform for us to take pictures and check in on social media. Finally, I want to express my gratitude once again to these three young people for their help, and I commend their professionalism, dedication, and cheerful demeanor. I hope that on all our future travels, any guesthouse or hotel we stay in will have such outstanding staff. I highly recommend this guesthouse to everyone.

Most guesthouses with good views in Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village are located halfway up the mountain. The butler here can help carry your luggage to your room, but there's about a 10-minute walk before you even reach the main gate. I'd suggest storing any unnecessary luggage beforehand. It's very close to the Village Bookstore, and the little cat there is absolutely adorable! The hotel's views are excellent, and there's a 360-degree viewing platform on the rooftop. Breakfast is served individually, and it's quite tasty. The complimentary Yao bath was a nice touch; soaking your feet with the herbal sachet after a day of exploring was really relaxing. The service was thoughtful, and the experience was fantastic. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, and the room layout is very well designed. It's clean and tidy, and the smart system is incredibly convenient and easy to use. All the staff I encountered, both male and female, were friendly and attentive, and the housekeepers were very dedicated. The hotel's customer service even added me on WeChat beforehand to send me charming and helpful travel and activity guides. If I return to this area, I'll definitely choose this hotel again.

Staying at Sooong while visiting Guiyang was such a great choice! Upon check-in, I received fresh-cut fruit, and the front desk staff helped me with my luggage and even thoughtfully planned out routes for Qianling Mountain and the snack street. It was incredibly heartwarming. The room's cleanliness was absolutely amazing; the floors were spotless, the bedding was soft and tidy, and the bathroom had no water stains or odors—even the vanity was perfectly clean. My entire stay was super comfortable, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

Facilities: This is a very new hotel with an excellent location, very close to Qingyun Market. There's a Guichu restaurant within a 10-minute walk, and Qiaobajiao is downstairs, making it incredibly convenient for takeout or dining in. There's a mini-fridge with Coke and four bottles of mineral water. The breakfast is also very rich with many choices, catering to different tastes, which shows great thoughtfulness. Cleanliness: The bedding is quite clean. Service: Very warm and welcoming. We checked in on Christmas and received a 'Ping An Guo' (Christmas apple) 🍎 and a small welcome gift (one of which was hand cream, perfect for the season). Every day, they'd ask if it was convenient for housekeeping. The welcome fruit was placed in our room. My package was delivered to the hotel, and the front desk staff even helped me find it that day ☺️. Twin Room: The advantage is that the beds are very large. It's rare for hotels these days to provide 1.5-meter beds. It would be even more convenient if a table and chair could be added to the twin room, for makeup or placing items.

The views and overall experience were both excellent. It was definitely worth the long journey, flying all the way from Beijing and then renting a car specifically to come here. We stayed in room A02, which offered great views. The only minor issue was that due to the significant temperature difference and high humidity between indoors and outdoors, there was always a layer of condensation on the outside of the panoramic window. The bedding was very comfortable. An electric blanket was turned on under the duvet to keep the covers dry, and memory foam latex pillows were also provided. The stir-fried dishes at the restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced, and the breakfast selection was sufficient. The mini-bar in the room included Elephant brand soda water, coffee, Coke, other beverages, and fresh fruit. For snacks, there were small bags of Lay's potato chips, several other snacks, and a small cup of instant noodles. Originally, I had read other reviews mentioning many mosquitoes and insects outdoors, so I brought my own mosquito repellent and anti-itch cream. However, upon arrival, I found that the hotel had already provided them in the room. Finally, the three young staff members at the hotel were absolutely delightful!

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and professional, making check-in swift and efficient. They even went the extra mile, offering detailed route suggestions and a helpful guide to the scenic area once they knew we were planning to visit. The room design is stylish, and the bedding is wonderfully soft and comfortable. Cleanliness was impeccable; even the corners were spotless. Breakfast offered a wide variety, with authentic flavors, and the live noodle station was a delightful surprise. What truly stood out were the thoughtful details: the complimentary mini-bar and the small snacks left during turn-down service really showed their attentiveness. This place offers incredible value for money, making it a perfect choice for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends!
