My 2-night stay at Yangxian Village, Wangxian Valley felt like stepping into a living Chinese fantasy painting hidden between the mountains. Waking up surrounded by misty peaks and hearing the peaceful sounds of the valley made time slow down for a while. The atmosphere at night was magical with lights reflecting across the valley and the entire place feeling almost unreal.
The hotel breakfast is delicious and sumptuous! A mixture of Chinese and Western styles. The village itself has many food options, performances, and activities, so there was always something to explore without feeling bored. After walking around the scenic areas, it was also nice to see bars and KTV spots available for people who wanted to relax at night. The environment balances both peaceful scenery and lively entertainment quite well.
The room was comfortable and clean, and overall the stay experience was satisfying. One small area for improvement would be the TV channels, as channels after 25 were quite lagging when watching at night. It could also be interesting if the resort considered adding services like leg massages after long walks around the valley. I think many travellers would appreciate that after exploring the mountain areas.
Overall, staying inside Wangxian Valley was more than just accommodation; it felt like being immersed inside the scenery itself. Definitely a memorable and unique experience.

Facilities: Fully equipped with a smart home system throughout the entire unit.
Cleanliness: Relatively tidy and clean. There was a minor issue with the floor, and they promptly arranged for staff to re-clean it.
Environment: Quiet despite being in a bustling area, making it very convenient to get around. The street downstairs has a wide variety of food options, so you don't necessarily have to go to tourist spots; you can find authentic local flavors right here.
Service: Warm and attentive, they even proactively upgraded my room type.

The butler service was excellent; they contacted me before check-in and provided a very detailed guide, which I really appreciated. The hotel breakfast was substantial, and the baggage service was great, with staff bringing luggage directly to the room. However, the room was very small. I specifically booked the Cuiwei room, but it had no view, and the window was tiny. I guess the main benefit is being able to stay late in the scenic area and having a convenient place to crash. The complimentary photography session with Bojue Travel Photography only provided outfits, and each room received five free photos. Makeup and styling had to be purchased separately, and the outfits had to be returned immediately after the shoot. It's not as good value for money as places outside the scenic area.

The front desk service was excellent; they handled issues promptly. A staff member was very enthusiastic and even carried my luggage to the room. The room itself was nice and very clean. It's a bit of a shame I missed the night view since I checked in later, but the sunrise in the morning was beautiful. Now for the highlight: the breakfast was incredibly diverse! It featured local Nanchang specialties, porridge, noodles, various pastries, bread, drinks, coffee, and fruit. They even had a salad option for those watching their diet. Breakfast was definitely a satisfying experience. Plus, I could store my luggage for free at the front desk after checking out, which was very convenient for travel. I could enjoy my day and pick up my bags later to head to my next destination. Keep up the great work and continue to improve your service!

We discovered Wangxian Valley on social media, and it was even more incredible than we expected. It was definitely worth it to stay in the cliff side guesthouse and the view from our rooms was great. Also by staying in a cliff side room we were able to eat breakfast in the cliffside library, one of the only spaces you can access in the valley that’s actually built onto the cliffside. The room was well equipped, very clean and the staff brought bits of fruit and snacks throughout the day for us. Huan Huan, the housekeeper, took amazing care of us - she shared so much information about the valley, recommended sights and routes, and places to eat. And she was really helpful with any questions or requests we had. Thank you Huan Huan! We would highly recommend!

As a frequent business traveler, this was my first time choosing a guesthouse (Shanshuge Homestay), and to be honest, I was a bit apprehensive at first.
After getting off the high-speed train, the private car arranged by the owner (100 RMB per car) was already waiting for me. The car was clean and odorless, and the driver was very nice. We chatted all the way, and the one-hour journey flew by.
Upon arriving at the village entrance, the owner picked me up in his convertible (a BMW). Navigating through the narrow streets, backing up hills, and making sharp turns truly amazed me – a master driver indeed! [facepalm emoji]
When I arrived at the hotel 🏨, wow, I was completely blown away! The hotel's decor is very grand, even better than I imagined. The room had all the amenities, was clean and tidy, and came with disposable toiletries. There was even a toilet seat cover, and the toilet itself had a heating function, very smart and convenient. At this point, the worry I had been carrying finally disappeared, haha.
The hotel also offers dining. I ordered a stinky mandarin fish and some Malantou. Later, by an amusing mistake, the owner served me someone else's stir-fried lettuce [smirk emoji]. To be honest, I don't usually care for stir-fried lettuce, but when I took a bite with an open mind, wow! This lettuce was incredibly delicious. I even asked the owner's wife for the recipe [crying with laughter emoji].
There are also many friendly parrots in the guesthouse... They interact with you, making you forget your troubles.
The next day, I went to Huangling. I left my luggage at the hotel, and the owner dropped me off at the scenic area's exit. After I finished sightseeing, the owner arranged another private car for me.
This trip to Huangling was perfect. If you choose Shanshuge Homestay, the owner will arrange everything for your dining, accommodation, and transportation, leaving you with no worries. I'll definitely bring my family back next time and stay at Shanshuge Homestay again! [happy emoji]

The hotel is really quiet, and the sightseeing bus drops you right at the entrance. Breakfast was abundant and delicious! Our room had a view of Jin Pavilion, and there was even a private viewing platform! It's a shame I didn't get to check it out. I'll definitely have to come back and stay again! I absolutely love Wunvzhou; my first visit was full of pleasant surprises and felt so refreshing!

Just left Jingdezhen today, and I'm really happy with my hotel choice this time. First off, the location is excellent. Although the name says 'Taoxichuan Store,' it's actually in Taoyang New Village. But it's still quite close to Taoxichuan, and also very near Sanbao Village and the Sculpture Porcelain Factory. Getting around was super convenient. The hotel's overall decor has a very Zen feel, which is a style I personally love. The two aunties who made breakfast in the morning were incredibly warm and kind, and they even fried soft-boiled eggs for you on the spot. It's great value for money – the facilities, cleanliness, service, and environment are all good, definitely worth recommending.

Staying within the scenic area was a brilliant choice. It allowed us to explore in the evenings and early mornings when there were fewer tourists. The guesthouse, which is uniformly managed by the scenic area, exceeded our expectations. It was clean and tidy, with all amenities thoughtfully provided (like disposable bathtub liners and toilet seat covers). The butler service was excellent; they contacted us via WeChat two days in advance, and after check-in, promptly and proactively sent us various information and even arranged exclusive activities. On the day of arrival, we joined the butler for a photoshoot in the rapeseed fields, and the next morning, we strolled through the ancient village with them, listening to stories of old houses. During both activities, the butlers were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive. They paid special attention to elderly guests and those who loved taking photos, ensuring no one got left behind, and frequently reminded us about the slippery stone paths on rainy days. Other staff members at the guesthouse were also very proactive and pleasant. The only minor inconvenience was that the guesthouse rooms were quite spread out, making the walk to the breakfast restaurant a bit far.

RRollingstoneHampton by Hilton Nanchang Stay Review
Overview:
I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience, offering great value for both business and leisure travelers. Located conveniently in the Honggutan District, the hotel is well-positioned for access to local attractions, shopping centers, and the business hub of the city.
The Good:
1. Comfortable Rooms:
The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room featured an ergonomic work desk, which was great for getting some work done. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets.
2. Facilities & Amenities:
The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay.
3. Breakfast:
The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables.
4. Service:
The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze.
5. Location:
The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city.
The Drawbacks:
1. Room Size:
While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped.
2. Limited Dining Options:
While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery.
3. Noise:
Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers.

NNadineisinshanghaiWe stayed for 3 days in this lovely hotel, the lady running the place was really nice and helped us organising trips in the Wuyuan area. From the terrace you have a great view of the village and can take great photos. The rooms are spacious and offer everything you need.
The lobby/ breakfast area has a lot of charme, since all the furniture is from another era and so the place just feels very original and homey. Even though on 2 of 3 days we were the only guests, we got a full buffet of delicious Chinese food for breakfast, including a good coffee.
The organised trips with Mister Yu were such a pleasure, he showed us the best spots in the area and was a really good driver.
YYida88Our family of 13 recently spent three nights at Wuyou Stayhill Resort in Sanbao Village, Jingdezhen, and it was a truly wonderful stay. The location is excellent—about a 20‑minute drive from Jingdezhen city—yet set in a quiet village surrounded by mountains and many artist studios, cafés, and restaurants, so there is always something interesting to explore. The hotel also provided free rental scooters, which made exploring Sanbao village easy and really fun. Waking up each morning to the crisp mountain air was already the perfect start to the day.
The resort offers spacious rooms with high‑quality finishes and fittings; our six rooms were all beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with quality bedding and bathroom amenities that made for a very comfortable stay.
The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service from the staff, who were consistently caring, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs. They handled several ad‑hoc requests even before our arrival and continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay so that every member of our family felt well looked after.
We particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast each morning. After long days of sightseeing, it was a joy to return to the resort, where a good night sweat desert soup awaited us, making it feel like coming home every evening. On Christmas Eve, our sweet dessert soup was accompanied by a beautifully written poem wishing us all a Merry Christmas, a thoughtful touch that showed how the staff went the extra mile to make us feel special. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay smooth, relaxing, and truly memorable, and this hotel is highly recommended to anyone planning to visit Sanbao Village.

MMoyuTraveling with seniors, we booked a hotel within the scenic area for convenience. We registered at the visitor center first to get free admission, then a buggy picked us up and took us to the hotel. We got our room key at the front desk, and a big thank you to the front desk attendant who helped us carry our luggage to the room. Breakfast was served at the Wumeng Restaurant, and the variety was excellent.
The hotel's location is superb. Just a short walk leads to the Fish Pattern Square (where the Nuo parade begins). You can follow the parade all the way to Baoyu Pagoda to watch the performance, then stroll around and grab some food before catching the iron flower performance. Afterward, head to Wenmo Square for the fire pot performance, followed by the fish lantern parade starting from the God of Wealth Temple (you can even participate!). Finally, take a boat ride. There are also many smaller shows to enjoy throughout the evening (you can scan a QR code at the front desk for the schedule). It was a perfect night tour.
After breakfast on the second day, the 'Empty Mirror' setting was fantastic for taking photos.
All in all, highly recommended!
GGuest UserThe Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal!
You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience.
The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰
The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth.
It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

XXiang_khushExceeded our expectations. Beautifully designed, exceptional concierge service, excellent amenities and areas to truly enjoy a staycation. Conveniently located in the bustling Sanbao street, eleme deliveries are also available and come right up to the room, the hot tub came with bath salts, mood lighting and really was worth every penny.
Standout features:
- Luxurious design
- Exceptional bed and pillows, best sleep in months
- Amazing hot tub
- Good quality bath products and toiletries
- Very cozy robes
- Spacious room
Few suggestions that could elevate this experience further:
- The tv does not have GiTV it has CRTV so English entertainment is unavailable on the projector unless you mirror your device and use a Chinese streaming app. International apps are not compatible.
- Room temp at night is quite warm since air conditioning is switched off during the winters, fans would be a relief
- Would’ve loved some chocolate placed on pillows for a honey suite
- The service is only in Chinese and restaurant closes at 4:30 pm unless you book a meal in advance
- There is no dairy creamer with the coffee only milk available in the restaurant on 1F
- Would’ve loved the projector in the hot tub area
- Xiao Du only understands Chinese and most room commands need her assistance, inconvenient if someone doesn’t speak the language
- Hard to find Didi Cabs to go anywhere but relatively easy to find cabs 2km away. (Very scenic walk or e-scooter)
