Imagine being able to lie in your room and watch the sunrise and sunset over Mount Siguniang, capturing incredibly clear photos with just your phone. What more could you ask for? Well, there's actually more! The room amenities are thoughtfully chosen: a Marshall speaker, a Dyson hairdryer (though I didn't dare wash my hair to use it), and all the furniture is quite upscale. The 270-degree window offers Mount Siguniang's gaze on one side and the companionship of the forest on the other (I imagine the colors change with each season). What more could you ask for? And yes, there's even more. The service here is exceptional. All the staff, both the young ladies and gentlemen, are incredibly warm and welcoming, always smiling, and greeting you with genuine care. When I ran out of water, they brought me some in the middle of the night. When I experienced altitude sickness, they immediately brought me glucose water and an oxygen tank. There's a shuttle bus service to and from Changping Valley Tourist Center, and we didn't have to touch our luggage at all. Interestingly, we stayed at hotels belonging to the same group for our two nights in Shuangqiao Valley and Changping Valley. First, we were woken by a dream, then we gazed at the starry sky. It feels like fate, and it also shows that our taste in hotels is consistently good. We'll definitely be back next time.

The Sky-High Hot Spring Hotel was an absolute surprise on this trip! The main highlights have to be the elevated hot springs and the incredible design, which perfectly aligned with my aesthetic preferences. The room was primarily Wabi-sabi style, with custom solid wood furniture paired with simple white sheer curtains, creating a serene and luxurious atmosphere. Every corner exuded sophistication, making every casual photo look like a masterpiece. The 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, framing the Leshan city view like a flowing painting. Soaking in the private hot spring, you can gaze at the bustling city by day and sleep under the magnificent nightscape, all while enjoying complimentary bath salts or milk baths, and watching movies on the giant projector screen – the ambiance was absolutely perfect. The entire room featured smart controls, and the arched doorway bathroom with wet and dry separation showcased quality in every detail. The hotel's convenient location and thoughtful amenities, whether for a romantic getaway or a girls' trip, guarantee an ultimately relaxing experience. It's definitely on my 'must-stay' list for Leshan!

The lemonade in the lobby is delicious. All the ladies at the front desk are very enthusiastic and basically answer all requests. The room is clean and the location is good. There are commercial shops downstairs. The breakfast is also good, but the facilities are a little old. Everything else is good. , upgraded to superior king bed room

We had a perfect National Day holiday with our kids at Club Med Heichan. From check-in to check-out, it was a constant stream of pleasant surprises – definitely a five-star experience! Our deluxe lake-view room had an amazing view. The front desk upgraded us to a ground-floor room with a large garden when they learned we were two adults and two children. The space was bright and spacious, and opening the balcony door revealed the sparkling Black Dragon Lake. We could lie in bed and admire the lake and mountains, which was incredibly therapeutic. The room decor was simple and cozy, and the cleanliness was meticulous; every corner was spotless. The messages on the mirror were heartwarming, and the cleaning lady and the young man with glasses were both exceptionally friendly. When they heard we had run out of the provided mosquito repellent, they thoughtfully brought us more. In the evenings, turndown service was always ready, with cute little rabbits folded from towels. The complimentary teddy bear was from Harrods and wonderfully soft. The room was absolutely flawless. The air purifier was also a quick and thoughtful solution to any issues. The all-inclusive dining was incredibly convenient! The food at the ANGRAN Buffet Restaurant was super diverse, with tender steaks, fresh seafood, authentic Sichuan dishes – spicy and satisfying without upsetting our stomachs. The exquisite desserts were unforgettable, and I ordered a mini hot pot every day. During non-meal times, there was also a noodle bar for extra snacks, which tasted very authentic. It was perfect for replenishing energy after playing. The YI Bar offered free flow of drinks and alcohol all day. The bartender, Ming, was enthusiastic and humorous, adding to the joyful atmosphere. The service here was truly impeccable! The day before our arrival, Winnie added me on WeChat, sending daily updates on activities and checking in on us. Throughout our stay, all the G.O.s were warmly guiding us. They weren't just sports coaches; they also led dances at the evening parties and played with the kids. Both adults and children adored them. A special shout-out to Abu, who was particularly lively and outgoing. Everyone in the village, whether at the front desk, restaurant, or activity areas, was smiling and readily available to help with any questions, creating a very approachable environment. This is definitely a paradise for family fun! The kids had a blast at the indoor heated children's water park, and the water slides were endlessly entertaining. The Mini Club G.O.s were excellent with kids, handling painting, crafts, and games, allowing parents to finally relax and enjoy some free time. Adults also had plenty of options: archery and rock climbing to challenge themselves, lakeside cycling with a pleasant breeze, and the outdoor infinity pool was perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. The evening activities were even more exciting, with energetic song and dance performances by the G.O.s. The firework show around 9 PM created an incredible atmosphere, and after the fireworks, a karaoke session was the perfect way to end the night! Whether it's a family vacation or a trip with kids, this is an excellent choice. We will definitely come again! Highly recommended!

The overall experience at JW Marriott Hotel Chengdu Maoye was incredibly delightful, showcasing high standards across four key dimensions! The hygiene was impeccable; both public areas and guest rooms were spotless. The 'Suyuan' (Vegetable Garden) area, surrounded by lush greenery, even featured adorable little cats, which was incredibly therapeutic. For service, I must commend our butler, Michelle, who was attentive and thoughtful throughout, responding promptly and warmly to all our needs. The room amenities were thoughtfully designed, with a standard cute little panda plushie. The turndown service with complimentary chocolates was a fantastic touch, and the free mini-fridge was convenient for storing items—every detail was well-considered. Breakfast had many highlights, from the exquisitely designed coffee latte art to the delicious and authentic local noodles. The special lounge offered a rich selection, making for a very pleasant and relaxing drink experience – highly recommended!

Recently had the pleasure of staying at Dorsett hotel and overall, it was a great experience. The hotel, though a bit on the older side, is very clean and well-maintained. The housekeeping team did a wonderful job, cleaning the room every day and ensuring that all amenities were topped up, which really added to the comfort of our stay. One of the highlights was the excellent service from the staff. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, from check-in to check-out. They made sure we had everything we needed, and even upgraded our room, which was a lovely surprise. While the hotel could use a little modernization, the quality of service and attention to cleanliness definitely made up for it. If you're looking for a comfortable, hassle-free stay with great service, I highly recommend Dorsett hotel. Would definitely return!

First time staying at the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu, and the experience was absolutely perfect! 😁😁😁 I booked two Ritz-Carlton Suites for my family and me during our trip to Chengdu, and the thoughtful service from Ms. Lianne made the start of our journey full of pleasant surprises 🥳🥳🥳. Before we even arrived, Ms. Lianne proactively reached out to understand our needs. She not only reserved rooms for us very close to the Executive Lounge but also went above and beyond to arrange rooms on the 38th and 39th floors, despite the limitation of ”only one Ritz-Carlton Suite per floor.” This thoughtful gesture allowed my family to easily look after each other while maintaining our privacy, which was incredibly touching. During check-in, she thoughtfully arranged for us to complete the process while dining at the lounge, saving us waiting time and allowing my family to start their vacation in a comfortable setting. From the meticulous arrangements to the warmth of the service, we truly felt the high quality of the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu. I especially want to commend Ms. Lianne for her professionalism and attentiveness. This will definitely be our top choice for our next visit to Chengdu! 🙃🙃🙃

Review: I recently stayed at the Chuanxing Yinli Hotel near Kuanzhai Alley in Chengdu. The location is definitely a highlight—it’s within walking distance to Kuanzhai Alley and other major attractions, which makes exploring the city very convenient. The surrounding area has plenty of restaurants and shops, and transportation options are easy to find. The hotel itself is decent for a short stay. The room was fairly clean and comfortable, though not particularly spacious or modern. Some of the facilities and furnishings could use a bit of maintenance or updating. The staff were generally polite and helpful, but communication in English was somewhat limited, so having a translation app helped. Overall, it’s a good mid-range option if you’re mainly looking for a convenient location and a clean place to sleep, but don’t expect luxury or many extra amenities.

The staff initially offered me a room upgrade for an additional 300 yuan, and I accepted. However, after entering the room, I realized it was much larger than necessary since I was traveling alone, so I decided to cancel the upgrade — the staff was very understanding about it. The breakfast was good, and the hotel is conveniently located right in the center of the walking street. There’s also a spa inside the hotel. It was quite crowded during check-in time, and it would be better if the staff helped manage the queue, as some guests were cutting in line while no staff seemed to notice or intervene.

The hotel is located at the foot of Mount Emei, just a 10-minute walk to the tourist center for the shuttle bus, and very convenient for accessing the main food street. There are plenty of great restaurants with thousands of reviews nearby, and the average prices are quite affordable, which I really liked. The hotel environment is beautiful, with a standard swimming pool, an indoor hot spring pool, and two outdoor hot spring pools – perfect for relaxing after a hike! The rooms are quite spacious, though a bit damp; running the air conditioning more might help improve this. The breakfast was abundant, but it lacked some thoughtfully prepared hot meat dishes. For several days, it was just fried chicken cutlets or roasted chicken. Other hot dishes were mostly vegetarian. Customers can definitely tell if a breakfast is genuinely well-prepared or just using quantity to make up for quality. The bread and desserts in the pastry section were quite varied, though!

GGuest UserAmazing customer service proficient in Chinese and English! Upgraded our single rooms to double room for free and was welcoming for a late 1am check-in time. Very clean and modern rooms with a delicious breakfast buffet. Staff willing to make coffee for us each morning, free umbrellas, a small garden courtyard to wind down, probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in for this price range! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the city but away from busy streets, tucked in near a temple and side street eateries yet only a 10 min taxi to popular attractions. One flaw: No designated car park for taxi. Have to walk 20 metres to a side street, not a big deal but please be aware as it might be hard to find. There is a sign but we didn’t notice at 1am haha. You’re in the right street if you see this entrance ->

__WeChat24695****The room was very elegant, and most importantly, the soundproofing was excellent. As someone with very sensitive ears who can't stand even the slightest noise at night, this was a blessing! The room had a balcony with a view of the rolling mountains in the distance. A refreshing mountain breeze blew through, making it cool enough that we didn't even need to use the air conditioning. The hotel owner was very warm and welcoming, and the front desk lady was also wonderful, thoughtfully bringing us delicious fruit. The room even had sutras for calligraphy practice. Friends planning a trip to Mount Emei shouldn't miss this place!

AAnonymous UserThe service attitude is super good. I am very satisfied. The front desk staff is super good. I like the bar environment very much. I go there almost every night. The price of cocktails is a bit expensive. It is about the same as the pricing level in Shanghai. The hotel corridor looks very ordinary. The room is generally very good and clean. The location of Huapaifang is very convenient. Wenjiaxiang and other places nearby can feel the atmosphere of the old community in Chengdu. It is very relaxing and comfortable. I like it very much. I spent a wonderful May Day holiday!

AAbigail WebbIt was okay. Would not book again. Unfortunately, this was one of our worse stays in China during our month long travel. There was an unfortunate plumbing issue (that they had no control over, totally understandable) but they moved us to a different room not listed with not as good of a view. And after asking and having to personally message the boss via WeChat received a 10% discount. The room was not very clean. Leftover tissues and hair in corners from the pervious person. The walls were thin enough to hear the neighbors. And we arrived to breakfast 30minutes after it started and there was very little left. I would be more gracious but this was also the most expensive place we stayed at. Did not meet my standards and would not stay here again.

东来 DavidMy stay at the Shitsan Bliss Qintai Boutique Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. This isn't just a hotel; it's a deeply immersive cultural experience wrapped in the warmth of incredible hospitality. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their attentiveness was impeccable—always anticipating our needs without being intrusive. Whether it was arranging a last-minute taxi, offering thoughtful recommendations for local teahouses, or simply sharing a warm smile in the hallway, every interaction was genuine and kind. They are a true credit to this establishment. A special mention must be made of the owner. I had the pleasure of chatting with them on more than one evening, and their passion for ******* culture and art is the soul of this hotel. You can feel their personal touch in every carefully curated detail, from the stunning thangka paintings adorning the walls to the beautiful handcrafted furnishings. It’s clear this is a labor of love, not just a business. The unique ******* cultural experience is the heart of the Bliss Qintai. Waking up in a beautifully appointed room that blended modern comfort with traditional ******* design was a daily delight. The ambiance is serene and authentic, offering a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle while being perfectly located near the Qintai Road attractions. If you are looking for a cookie-cutter chain hotel, look elsewhere. But if you seek a memorable, soulful stay with a team that makes you feel like family, the Shitsan Bliss Qintai is the only place to stay in Chengdu. We left feeling not just like satisfied guests, but like we had experienced something truly special. We cannot wait to return.

CCeeVieAreThis is my first visit to Chengdu and Qionglai city. This hotel or courtyard stay is affiliated to Wyndham Garden along Wenjun Street i.e. big square with various shops for shopping (sports attire brands, yinshion, Miniso), dining and decors perfect for social media posting. Dining options include McD, KFC, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Chagee, Naixue, Heytea, Mixue and local brand dining or beverage operators. Outside the square/Wyndham Garden there are Lawson, Family Mart, 7 eleven and local Hongqiao marts(prices lower). Local mini restaurants selling Sichuan food, noodles, dumplings, snacks are also available outside the square/garden, opposite AllAboutLove bakery and Naixue outlet. Qionglai city is closely associated with a historical female poet called Zhuo Wenjun. Her residence and Wenjun well built during Han Dynasty is located 10-15 mins walk from Wyndham Garden. Look for Bank of China branch and walk across the street to reach China Construction Bank branch Then walk straight down until you see a public toilet on your right and cross the street. Walk until you see an open space carpark and go in the carpark you will find Wenjun Residence on your left, entry is free. You may book a car to Qionglai city from Tianfu airport but be prepared to pay RMB400+ equivalent using trip app. Going back to Chengdu city by car is about RMB200. Standby with some cash if you encounter QR code scan problem. There are also buses and trains options to reach here. 1 -0.5 hours drive you can visit famous Tiantai Mountain, Pingle Ancient Town, Bamboo Canyon Scenic Area ( went there and love it❤️❤️❤) , Yuanwozi winery, etc. ️ My stay was very refreshing and Manager Ma was very helpful and accommodating to all my queries. My travelling plans to nearby attractions was fulfilled despite unfavourable weather, drizzling 2 days non stop. I would recommend for atleast 2 night stays to enjoy 1 day outskirt trip + 1 day chill in the room and enjoy backyard outdoor onsen to relax. Breakfast buffet include western (cereal/salad/eggs/sausages/ham/fries/bread), dimsum, soup, cakoi and soya bean, 3x types of porridges and condiments, local breakfast ( starter or salad, fried rice, meat and vegetable dishes), deserts, local fruits and cut fruits. Hotel staff can also help to order takeouts for you.

Kkatkat109This hotel is absolutely heavenly, nestled right in the scenic area. While the room wasn't huge, it had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom and two large beds, which was more than enough for our family of four. The room was very clean, and they even provided welcome fruits and small drinks, a thoughtful touch. What truly impressed us was the hotel's breakfast; they gave us breakfast vouchers for the kids, and the selection was vast and delicious. On our second night, we dined at the hotel's restaurant, and the food was excellent and surprisingly cheaper than the restaurant we tried in town on our first night. We didn't get to enjoy the hotel's complimentary late-night snacks on either night – the front desk did notify us to book in advance – but we were simply too full from dinner to even think about more food. All in all, this hotel truly comes highly recommended!
