Overall - an absolutely magical experience, like stepping into a fairytale, we absolutely LOVED our stay here, it was such an unforgettable experience! Breakfast with the giraffes was absolutely incredible, such a unique and surreal experience! One tip: if you want a table right by the window, make sure to arrive BEFORE 6:30 AM or LATER around 9:00–9:30 AM when it gets less crowded. The breakfast buffet was very good with an amazing variety of delicious food to suit every taste. You can also visit the restaurant during specific hours for lunch and dinner. During dinner, we enjoyed a wonderful live show with music and performers. And if you miss the restaurant's serving hours, there are other dining options around the resort. The entire hotel and wildlife park are beautiful and so much fun to explore! You can get around on foot or use the convenient shuttle service. There are so many different animals to see, along with plenty of interactive experiences. We especially loved the area with the adorable little budgies absolutely everywhere 🦜 Lemurs roam freely around the grounds and there are butterflies and dragonflies everywhere. It feels like a little paradise, full of life and harmony with nature. The hotel itself was also wonderful and very clean. Our room had a jacuzzi and we were welcomed with lots of lovely edible gifts. At check-out, we even received a cute little plush giraffe as a souvenir! Very thoughtful touches! The staff were absolutely amazing – incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. They assisted us with our luggage and patiently answered all our questions. A very special thank you to our concierge Liang, who was always available on WeChat, responded almost instantly, and helped us with absolutely everything. We really appreciated his kindness and excellent service. Another nice little bonus: each guest receives a free QR code to collect a complimentary bag of carrots to feed the animals. A couple of small suggestions for improvement: We noticed that the owls appeared to be tethered (?) and remained in the same spot which was quite sad to see. We really hope their welfare is being carefully considered. Also I personally think the experience would be even more magical without the music playing through speakers around the wildlife park. In such a beautiful natural environment, it would be wonderful to simply enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. I also wonder whether the constant music might be stressful for some of the animals. Apart from these small concerns, we truly had an amazing time! The whole place feels like a dream, and you can see how much thought has gone into creating a special experience for guests. This hotel used to be an InterContinental (perhaps a benchmark in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai region), but after the InterContinental brand pulled out, the owner operated it independently under the name 'Free InterContinental Palace'. After the InterContinental de-branding, the hotel significantly increased its recreational activities, adding tennis courts, sound healing, and more. Among the resort hotels in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area, places like the Xihu State Guest House and Fuchun Resort are quite large, but this hotel's actual scale is even more astonishing. Besides the hotel's own area, the entire Xianshan Peninsula is essentially its public space: in early summer, there are bayberry orchards, and in autumn, the mountains are covered with tangerine trees. You can hike to the top of the back mountain (about 2-3 km), and there's a hidden small 'canyon' in the mountains. If you don't want to dine at the hotel, there's a 'farmhouse restaurant' next door (Xianshan Restaurant). A few hundred meters from the entrance is the lighthouse area, which used to be a pebble beach and has now been converted into a coffee shop/bar. As for the hotel's own hardware, it's roughly on par with the international resort hotels in Yalong Bay around 2010-2012 (Qiandao Lake InterContinental/Hilton/Sheraton all opened around the same time). It's very well-maintained, old but not dilapidated. Compared to the minimalist, trendy new hotels of the past two years, hotels from this period have much more character. Most people come to Qiandao Lake to escape the summer heat, but October-November is when Xianshan Peninsula is at its most beautiful. The tangerines are ripe, the lake water is exceptionally blue on crisp, clear days, and by November, a few ginkgo trees in the hotel turn golden. This hotel also has some special advantages: for example, breakfast is served until 11 AM and includes a dedicated children's dining area. From 9 PM to 11 PM, there's a late-night canteen offering various snacks and instant noodles from all over the world (literally every type of noodle from everywhere!). The concierge team's service is also very attentive and prompt. What can I say? Perfect weather, perfect hotel – 100 out of 10 points! 🥰

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and patient. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and room service was always prompt. The robot delivery service was a convenient touch. The prices are very reasonable with no hidden fees, making it perfect for business travelers, couples, or short getaways. If you're staying in Jinhua,四季逸境 (Siji Yijing) is definitely the place to be – you won't be disappointed!

The entire resort is designed in the unmistakable shape and spirit of a ship, complete with maritime detailing, porthole-style windows, brass accents, and cabin-inspired interiors that make every room feel like a private suite at sea. From the moment you arrive, you are surrounded by tropical-style gardens and serene lagoons where ducks glide across the water and fish move like living brushstrokes beneath the surface. It is calm, immersive, and almost dreamlike. The service is simply outstanding — attentive, warm, and effortless. Nothing feels forced; everything feels considered. Breakfast is sumptuous and generous, with a spread that feels worthy of a grand voyage rather than a countryside resort. Every detail is elevated. The rooms are extraordinary — sleeping here genuinely feels like being inside a luxury cabin on an ocean liner, yet with the comfort, silence, and space of a high-end retreat. As we sat outside on the man-made beach overlooking the beautiful pond, framed by rolling mountains, a golf buggy passed by. The driver, Ben, stopped and kindly asked if we would like to take a ride around the hotel grounds. What followed was unforgettable. We set off together and immediately began to ascend into the mountain areas, where the landscape opened up into something extraordinary. We were surrounded by peach trees, olive trees, and endless tea plantations stretching across the hillsides. The scenery felt untouched and alive. Stunning waterfalls cascaded down rock faces, and wildlife was everywhere — fish moving through clear waters, turtles basking quietly, geese and ducks gliding freely across ponds and streams. It felt like a living ecosystem woven seamlessly into the resort itself. At the peak, we reached the most incredible lookout observatory and restaurant, offering panoramic views over Anji and far beyond. The vistas were vast and layered, mountains fading into the distance under a calm, open sky. To top it all off, there is even a zip line (rip cord) for those brave enough to ascend and descend in style — an exhilarating contrast to the serenity below. Throughout it all, Ben’s kindness, warmth, and care were extraordinary, and perfectly matched the beauty of the experience. His generosity of spirit elevated the entire journey. A stay that moves from ship-like luxury, to lakeside tranquillity, to mountain adventure — all within a single, seamless experience. Simply unforgettable.

I really loved this guesthouse, especially its common areas. The library, in particular, stood out with its striking spatial design and vibrant color scheme, creating a wonderfully spacious and bright atmosphere. It's the perfect place to grab a book, order a coffee, and easily spend an entire afternoon. The host was also incredibly hospitable! I definitely hope to visit again next time!

My parents have mobility issues and are elderly, so we booked a villa. It had underfloor heating and air conditioning, but their sleeping room was upstairs, which was a bit inconvenient for them as they had to climb stairs. There was a hot spring pool in the courtyard, and the butler even lit a bonfire and set out candles. The butler service was excellent; they responded immediately when called upon in the group chat. They also provided shuttle service to a nearby Tujia restaurant, which was very thoughtful. The scenery around the hotel was beautiful, but the nearby amusement park was a bit noisy. They offered complimentary afternoon tea every day 👍. The breakfast selection was a bit limited, and the bathroom facilities weren't as spacious or convenient as the hotel's. Overall, we were satisfied; the service and scenery were good. The restaurant's dinner was delicious, specializing in fine dining, but the portions were a bit small. For a large family, the fried rice we ordered was only enough for five people, so we ordered another serving. We ate two dinners, ordering different dishes, and none of them were bad; everything tasted great, and we were very satisfied. It would be best if future meals offered small, medium, and large portion sizes so that different groups could choose the appropriate portion. Overall, we were very satisfied and recommend it. The housekeeper said they're opening a new store this year, which won't be as noisy as this place. I'm looking forward to it.

The breakfast selection was extensive, catering well to both seniors and children. The scallion oil noodles, pickled vegetable rice noodles, and tomato and egg noodles were all delicious. The two 1.5-meter large beds were very convenient for traveling with seniors, allowing them to sleep comfortably. However, the room had a few unwelcome guests (insects), which was a bit distressing for us as we're afraid of bugs. The cleanliness could definitely be improved. The window in the room at the end of the hallway had an obstructed view, which should have been mentioned upon check-in. My parents didn't want the hassle of changing rooms, so they didn't.

The environment was clean and tidy. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to get around with hassle-free parking. The staff were warm and welcoming, making for a fantastic stay. Looking for a short getaway near Hangzhou, we booked Club Med Longwu for the National Day holiday, and the tea plantation scenery is absolutely stunning! We booked a room with breakfast included, and the breakfast quality was excellent. The GOs (Gentle Organizers) were enthusiastic and energetic, there were plenty of activities in the resort, and the evening show was fantastic. The room was spacious and clean, and the service remained great even during the holidays. A walk through the tea fields was very therapeutic, making it perfect for a family short break. Sherly and Flora also provided excellent service!
