Hotels With bar in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

The room was super large, the bed was totally comfortable. It was clean, the staff were nice. I haven't been so well sleeping in a hotel bed for a long time! We came exactly at the check-out time to the hotel. We could still use the lift, but we didn't come into the hall and therefore also not into the room because the chip card was no longer active. All super safe. The staff at the reception was reactivated and we could quietly empty the room and check out. If I remember it wrong, the parking was free in the parking house. But no guarantee for it. I can only recommend the hotel.

I stay there already several times but every stay was good. This is a older Hotel outside the city of Lahnstein. The building is 15 storys tall and from my room at 12 floor with balcony have a grate view into the nature. Double bed was just 2 single beds move together and there is a big gap between the matress. Bathroom was equipped wiyh bath tube and glas shield for shower function. The room have good light from the big glass windows and during evening enough electric lights. Breakfast is very good with huge choice of everything. Only the part-baked rolls are low quality. Fresh rolls from backery will be lift the breakfast to other sphere.

Staff was friendly and accommodating, the place is an easy walk from Mainz Hbf so train and local amenities are near, room was warm, I had a queen room but they use two singles put together which I felt was strange as you can only really sleep on one side but it was comfortable to sleep, room isn't quiet, the trains are near the hotel so early morning it can be noisy if you are a light sleeper, you can hear the people in the rooms next to you, I had a guy with the deepest snore next to me it was like the room was vibrating, if you are a deep sleeper then its perfect otherwise light sleepers might have trouble.

Great hotel, conveniently located on the edge of the city center (about a 10-minute walk). Bike rental is available next to the hotel. Parking is available in the garage below (at a reduced rate, which can be arranged through reception). Extensive breakfast with plenty of choices. Dinner is available, but the menu is limited, especially on Sundays. Tip if you're visiting Koblenz in the summer: visit Rhein in Flammen, which offers a variety of live music and a drone and fireworks show on Saturday evening. It made our stay an unforgettable weekend.

Pros: Short walk from the Central Station, directly opposite the Porta Nigra, within short walking distance from the main tourist sites and many dining options nearby. Its location is unparalleled Cons: As pointed out by other reviewers, room and furniture is very outdated. There is only a bath-tub to take a shower so do note if one has mobility issue. Biggest issue for me was the pillows: it was so soft I got a neck-ache after 2 nights, and the air-con was not working during a relatively warm summer, fortunately the window could be opened, otherwise it would have been a disaster!!!

The hotel was aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained, with good services including breakfast and complimentary snacks. Staff were extremely helpful and polite, and a member of staff was on hand at reception to check me in even though I arrived late in the evening. My room was huge and amazing value, and was set up for me beautifully. The location, while not central in Mainz, was reasonably well-connected to the city centre via public transport -- the bus stop was a ten-minute walk downhill from the hotel through very pretty neighbourhoods with regional charm.

The location is very convenient, there are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The hotel's facilities are average, and you can smell the smell of urine in the bathroom after entering the room. Although the cleaning is still clean, it is estimated that the water level has re-seepage or anti-odor.

The hotel has a great location, walking distance to the train station and to the river. The room is big enough and the bathroom size is decent too. I booked a room with two twin beds. I might have selected 1 room and 1 guest instead of two guests when I booked it. The hotel decided I need to pay extra for the additional person plus additional city tax. They have plenty of rooms ready but when we tried to check in around 1:30, we were told no room was ready. The WiFi barely worked at all. I had to use my cell data.

Good location,input hotel may be better indicate. We were not in the restaurant part of the hotel. All you need to provide in the room. Breakfast is a lot of choice and very delicious. Also for vegetarians a wide range of fruit and vegetables. Friendly service. Bottle of water offered free at the room.
