We booked a room with 3 beds, room was modern and clean, bathroom had heated towel racks, each bed had plug ins for USB port. We didn‘t have breakfast because our train left very early but it looked fantastic, better than anything seen so far on the island. Monsieur Pablo at the reception was incredible helpful and able to answer all our needs! Thank You!

The accommodation is located on the hillside in a very quiet area and a fantastic view! The rooms are clean and comfortable, I have rarely slept so well. The french breakfast with the panoramic view is very good and to cool off, you can have a really relax time on the pool!

We had a nice room with 2 bedrooms in this hotel, with a small balcony opening to a green area. There are many, many tour groups coming and going all day long, so it is a very busy place. They have a buffet dinner that was included with the price, which was a nice surprise, and is clearly a great fit for the tour groups coming through. However, there is NOT an airport shuttle as described on line when we booked it, so expect to pay for a taxi if you don't rent a car or arrive on a tourbus. The beach has a steep drop-off and the water was not especially clean (bits of plant matter floating about) and the sound of jetskis was never far off. If you like a large hotel with lots of activity (and activities to sign up for), this place is for you. If you're looking for something quieter, more secluded, and less touristy, you should look elsewhere.

Que cela soit l accueil, la chambre spacieuse, la propreté, le petit déjeuner , le personnel, la piscine il n y a rien a redire Excellent rapport qualité /prix Parking à l hôtel et à côté navette gratuite qui vous emmène au centre ville au port…. Quite clean and neat. Modern concrete hotel, large rooms each with a balcony. Each room had a kitchenette - so I think this was designed more as an apparthotel set up. Some noise at night till 1am - nightclub across the field opposite. Very anonymous corridors, few lifts. Good pool. 10 minutes walk to beach, restaurants etc - but not an easy walk, some of the hotel's path lights were out, bushes growing into the path, there was not a continuous pavement, and cars parked in the drive (where it clearly said No Parking). Breakfast good, even at 0630. We did not have evening meals there - too late in the season? Staff friendly

Stayed one night. Conveniently located and reasonably quiet. The room was located on the second floor, but after getting off the elevator one had to walk down seven steps on a narrow winding staircase - very inconvenient with luggage. The room was very small but clean and nicely decorated. No electric kettle. Comfortable bed and pillows. Small desk area with enough power outlets. Bathroom with very small shower cabin. Good water pressure but absolutely zero shelf space in the shower - had to put toiletries, comb, etc on the floor. The shower floor was also quite slippery. Decent wifi. Breakfast with reasonable selection.

I am glad to have returned to stay in this hotel. Staff always as welcome and professional. Hotel that has charm and improves from year to year. Breakfast at top and complete! At every trip to ajaccio I could go.

The Mercure hotel has a great location. It is 10 min drive from Ajaccio Airport. It has a 24×7 store (Proxi), petrol station, eateries (breakfast, Crêpes, pizzas) right next to it. The parking in the hotel is chargeable (12 eur per night). The receptionists are very cordial, they provide all the info and extend every possible help. The rooms are clean and have enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Kids slept on a sofa bed and it was already set-up and was comfy. The bathroom has shower, hand shower and the toilet has a water jet (first time I saw one in Europe). The pool is small but you can spend an evening sitting around it. The only thing that doesn't work but that's true for all of Ajaccio (nothing to do with Mercure) is that you will need to drive 2-3 hours to get to interesting sights in Corsica. Piana Calanques are ~2hrs away, Calvi is ~2.5 hrs away, Polambaggia beach is ~3 hrs away and Bonifacio again ~3 hrs away.
