First impressions were pretty good, spacious room and comfy beds, nice bar area, friendly service. However the drinks all tasted strange and was the worst night sleep ever. There was a Xmas party going on so we had music banging out until midnight, not great when trying to get two children to sleep. We were not informed of this on booking. Then the walls were paper thin so when the baby in the room next door started crying it may well have been in the room with us…. All night! We would have had more sleep in a tent next to the M6!! Breakfast was mediocre. Wouldn’t stay again.

What a wonderful hotel. In the heart of the countryside with nature all around.
Nice hotel with very comfortable rooms. Fresh comfortable bed. Windows that open. Nice bathroom with very nice toiletries. Dined at the restaurant which was excellent also. Great location and great food. Would love to spend a week here and just relax.

A very beautiful castle hotel. The dinner was also very good. It is worth staying here to feel the history of the castle and leave it with such grandeur. However, the rooms are a bit old.
