The location is convenient, within walking distance to the city center and Manchester University. Although the room is small, it's fully equipped with a hairdryer and kettle, and there's complimentary coffee and tea. The hotel doesn't have a car park, but the staff were very friendly and explained that there's paid parking next to the hotel. You only need to pay until 8 PM, and then it's free until 8 AM the next morning. Thanks to the hotel staff for their help.

I stayed here with my son for a Manchester United match. The Hilton Inn room was incredibly small; I couldn't even fully open my 30-inch suitcase. They didn't provide bottled water, disposable toiletries, and, even worse, no slippers. When I asked if I could buy some, they said no. After two nights, I was pretty fed up. Choose carefully! The upside is it's close to the stadium. I could see fans entering from my room, and walking back and forth meant no traffic worries. The room was also kept reasonably clean. I definitely won't be staying here again!

Located opposite Manchester's Chinatown, it's very convenient for those who fancy Chinese food. Other attractions like the long-distance bus station and the main train station are about a 20-minute walk away. The room is well-equipped and offers great value for money. Highly recommended.

I was a bit hesitant on the first night because the hotel was so incredibly cheap, which is great. But after staying for a night, the experience was fantastic. I have a small suggestion: you can ask the front desk to be placed near the elevator, as many rooms are quite far back and a long walk, making it easy to get lost.

Fast checkin. Great value considering quality and prices in the surrounding area. Comfortable stay. Didn't go to the restaurant but nice to have it handy as nothing to eat nearby. But 15 minutes walk gets you to some great eateries. Happy to stay here again! Oh, and rooms had some interesting mindful features (seem pics) 🫶

The location is excellent and the staff are polite and all respectful . The only thing that made my stay unconfortable is the next door guest who keep bouncing on the wall like playing a ball. Also the toilet tissues are empty on the second day and the coffee and sugar were empty and didnt change my cups as well. Aside from that, its great!

Warm welcome and cookies from the reception team. Great location, near canal street, china town and Piccadilly train station Breakfast was a little disappointing on this occasion. The hot items were warm at best and a bit hard from being left under the heat/ lights. Staff in the restaurant could be friendlier.

1) All of the above reviews of Holiday Inns Express at Stockport Station are TRUE and correct! 2) The two of the three front desk Staff (during our stay) went out of their way to be of great help and assistance to make our great a very memorable one. 3) The House-keeping Staff were five-stars rating whenever we needed missing or extra supplies. 4)  The Senior Management MUST make EVERY effort to come out of their cosy officers and take time out to SMILE and meet & greet ALL their new clients who come to stay at their hotel. Without our patronage the hotel’s occupancy rate will be minimal. At the end of the day we patrons of the hotel contribute significantly to “paying the salaries” of their Staff .  5) Overall our personal review of this particular hotel has a five-stars rating! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Rev. Service - nice, the staff members are very friendly and kind. I will give 4 of 5. Breakfast - they don’t have lot of variety of breakfast. But what they have is alright and taste okay. I will give 4 of 5. Location - good and bad. The good part is it is close to a lot of places. For example, art gallery, the library. So it is really good for people want a convenient travel. However, the location is very very noisy at night, and some how, our room is not sound proof enough, at Friday night, a bunch of people singing on the street with microphones at 11:30pm, and we can hear all of them (we are in fifth floor, don’t know how people in the first floor would feel about it..). Room facility - bad. It is not a 4 star hotel level. They do not provide fridge or room bar. The Tv is very old and the carpet of the hotel is very old and a bit dirty. The table and chair on the room is squeeze, and not stable. The whole room is just very old. Room clean service - good, they do the service good and in time. In general, I don’t think this should be a four star hotel - at least based on our experience. It could be a alright three star hotel and a normal two star hotel. Hi enjoyed my stay but please allow me to open the window in the room need fresh air.Also was told the bar was open until 11pm but that’s not right because only bottle drinks available at silly over priced drinks.
