Hotels With bar in Pest, Hungary

By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I will not be coming back when I return to Budapest. First thing was the booking details, which clearly stated ”1 full bed”. However when I got to the hotel room, there were two TINY beds instead. If I laid perfectly straight on these beds, my arms nearly fall off the sides. I go to reception and the blonde woman who was there at 11:10pm on Wednesday May 20th told me ”we don't have any large beds in Hungary, we just push two small beds together.” This is a lie, I had just spent 8 days in Budapest at the Park Plaza (also a 4 star hotel) and I slept in a single very large bed every night. When I mentioned this, she just shrugged. No apologies. Why does this matter? Two mattresses pushed together creates a gap that results in aggravating back pain, especially for anyone with spine misalignment like I have. I booked this hotel to go to the airport energized and refreshed, instead I get to go on my international flight exhausted with extreme back pain. Second issue was the water, the absolute hottest that it got was lukewarm. I asked reception about this issue too, same woman said she'd look into it. It was never fixed, no apologies for the inconvenience again. The room was hotter than the ”hot” water. The only positives about this hotel were the decent breakfast and free airport shuttle, but I'd rather have spent $8 on an Uber and had a full bed as promised. I'll be staying at the Ibis Styles or TRIBE next time. They probably don't lie about their rooms.

We had a 7 AM flight at the end of June and didn't want to rush from the city center early in the morning, so we chose this hotel near the airport. It was incredibly convenient! From the airport, we just followed the covered walkway to the hotel entrance. Even dragging a large suitcase, it only took about 6 minutes. Tribe and Ibis are right next to each other, sharing a lobby. It was quite busy with lots of guests checking in, and the restaurant was lively too. The hotel lobby offers complimentary water and coffee, and there are also free water stations by the elevators on each floor – a thoughtful detail. Being a newly opened hotel, all the facilities are new. The room's hardware and decor are comparable to what you'd find in a good hotel back home in China, which is quite rare in Europe. The room isn't huge, but it has a private bathroom, and considering the local prices, it offers excellent value for money. A quick note about breakfast: I previously read reviews saying you could have breakfast at the adjacent Ibis starting at 4 AM, but that's no longer the case. The earliest breakfast is now at 6 AM. If you're in a hurry, the hotel can provide a packed meal, which is also substantial. I left the hotel for the airport at 4:40 AM with my child alone, and everything felt very safe.👍

Hotel is spotless, and 5 minutes covered walkway from the arrival terminal. Internal styling reminds me of Raddison Red. Quirky but imaginative room decoration (how to make a paper airplane!!)

This hotel really impressed me. First, the comfort in the room. The room had absolutely everything I needed; all the furniture was new, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and there was delicious tea in the room. The breakfasts were also tasty and filling. The hotel is quite quiet and cozy, located in a peaceful area of Djal. Nearby, there's a pleasant sports atmosphere and a playground. Second, the excellent location. There's a huge Spar supermarket nearby and two public transport stops. The staff are very welcoming and can help with anything.

For sure, the hotel is in general nice. Very big Pool, nice Spa area. The room sizes are well (25+m2). Furniture are simple, plain usefull (about Holiday Inn style). Size of cabinets good for a 2 weeks stay with 2 persons. I liked the relatively big work desk. 2 armchairs and a small round table for your comfort. The bathroom good. Just thr hose with shower head was too short for tall people. Cleanness was good. But, be aware,you need to ask for room cleaning. They do not do automatically. This hotel mainly is for vacation/ family vacation. So, there als is a kids play room. What I did not like so much, eas the dinner. It was very Hungarian style. Means, a lot of meat and heavy food. I was missing more vegetables. Cooked or fresh, but not so much pickled. On other hand, breakfast has been great! Parking at the hotel is free of charge. And the parking lot really is big. Over all best place to stay in this area.

I have always used Ctrip to book hotels for business trips. The service attitude is very good. If there are any problems, they will be solved patiently. The customer service responds quickly. The platform is well-received and the hotel is also well-received!!!

Positive aspects: The cleanliness was superb. There was a varied and clean breakfast. It's a nice and elite hotel with friendly staff. Here are some things I think a hotel of this quality should have, but doesn't: There were no slippers, paper cups, plastic bags, or kettles, which are all standard amenities in a hotel. Slippers were sold for cash. If these were provided, the hotel would be a complete hotel.

Very elegant hotel which also contains a seniors retirement home. Food was good, room was enormous with a kitchen in it too. Three disappointing issues: 1. The room airconditioner (room 211) was inadequate, so the night was hot because of that. 2. The bed was too soft and also a bit squeaky. 3. The shower head was too harsh and also leaking. No adjustment was available. Nice hotel but has some issues.

The parking spaces are narrow, the air conditioning in our room was very noisy, and the rooms could do with a renovation in my opinion. The price-value ratio was relatively good, the staff was nice.

The elevator is a bit old. This time I chose a half-board and board plan. Sometimes because there are not many people in the meal, the dinner buffet is changed to a la carte package. The room does not provide bottled water. This needs to be strengthened. The room is clean as a whole.
