Tried out a new hotel that went viral. It's located right in the old town area. Perhaps because it's new, the cleanliness, facilities, and service are still well-maintained. The room was comfortable and very nice. Unfortunately, it uses standard air conditioning (not indoor air conditioning), so it feels like a regular room.

We booked two rooms. When one of the rooms, the AC was not cold, called the receptionist, and was responded to well. An hour later, the room was cold again. Breakfast is quite varied.

From the moment you arrive at FIM by Zigna, it becomes clear that this is no ordinary 3-star hotel. Everything feels considered, refined, and quietly elevated in a way that far exceeds expectations. There is a noticeable precision in how everything operates—from the smooth check-in process to the overall atmosphere of calm efficiency. It’s clear that someone is paying close attention to the finer points that many hotels overlook. The staff deserve special recognition. They are consistently polite, professional, and impressively efficient without ever feeling rushed or impersonal. Service here strikes that rare balance between warmth and competence. Breakfast is another highlight—genuinely exceptional. The quality, variety, and presentation go beyond what you would typically expect at this level, turning what is often a routine meal into something to look forward to each morning. Location-wise, it’s hard to fault. Perfectly positioned for exploring Solo, everything feels conveniently within reach. All things considered, the 3-star rating is genuinely surprising. By international standards, this hotel comfortably performs at a 4-star level, if not beyond in certain aspects. FIM by Zigna is a standout example of what happens when strong management, attention to detail, and genuine care for the guest experience come together.

I have been staying at this hotel for a long time and it has always been one of my familiar choices whenever I visit the area. The location is convenient and the overall atmosphere still feels comfortable and welcoming. However, it is a bit unfortunate that the hotel is starting to show its age. Some facilities seem a little old compared to before. Last night was slightly difficult because there was a loud fan or machine noise coming from outside, which made it a bit hard to sleep. I hope the hotel can check this issue because it could affect guests staying in nearby rooms. Aside from that small inconvenience, my stay was generally satisfying. The staff were friendly as usual and the service was reliable. I still appreciate the comfort and memories I have had here over the years, and I hope the hotel will continue to maintain and improve its facilities in the future.

Very clean room and a very new hotel. The space in front of the bed is a bit limited, but I honestly did not mind at all. The location is convenient, situated above a mall, and the TV is a smart TV so you can watch YouTube. Do note that if you are dropped off by taxi at the mall entrance, there is an additional IDR 5,000 charge due to the mall’s policy. Overall, I was satisfied with the stay and felt it was good value for the price paid.

This is always my first choice for me whenever I travel to solo. I love the cleanliness and fast check in process. However the parking space is very limited but they have extra space across the road right in front of the hotel.

This hotel has a unique and pleasant interior. The location is very strategic. The rooms are also comfortable and spacious. Generally, the cleanliness is good. However, there were some stains on the bed sheets. We checked, and the bed sheets had already been changed, but the stains were still there after coming from the laundry. Perhaps they could cross-check this with their laundry vendor. Even after we asked for new ones from housekeeping, they were in the same condition. Another minor point for me is the complimentary drinking water. It seems to be water from a dispenser (we don't know if it's refilled or not) served in a jug, not bottled mineral water. That's a bit odd for a 4-star hotel standard. But overall, it's okay.

Well-Equipped Facilities, Though Showing Some Age: The room was spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. While it's clear the hotel has been around for a while and the decor is more classic and traditional, the overall cleanliness was spotless, and maintenance was excellent. The hotel's pool and gym were also very clean, perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

Overall, it was great! The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel's food and drinks were also good, and they offered some unique and visually appealing cocktails that tasted just as good as they looked. Plus, the view from the room's window was beautiful. Thumbs up!

Omah Alchy Cottages was, without question, the highlight of our trip to Karimunjawa Island. Everything about this place was exceptional. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the island. What truly sets Omah Alchy apart, however, is its breathtaking location. Step outside your bungalow and you're right by the sea. The property has its own jetty stretching out over the water, which became our favorite spot every evening to watch the most spectacular sunsets. Seeing the sun sink into the horizon over the calm sea was simply unforgettable. As an added bonus, guests can use the free canoes to paddle out on the water and enjoy the beautiful surroundings from a different perspective. It's the kind of place where you can completely switch off and appreciate the natural beauty of Karimunjawa. If you're visiting Karimunjawa Island, do yourself a favor and stay here. Omah Alchy Cottages offers an incredible combination of stunning scenery, fantastic accommodation, and genuinely wonderful hospitality. We would return in a heartbeat.
