The front desk was super nice and helpful for heating up the food for us even it wasn’t his job. The view from the room was amazing and I like the shampoo they provided! Totally enjoyed during the stay
This hotel in Vic has a very good location, near the black sand beach. We chased the northern lights that night. However, this hotel does not provide breakfast, but there is a public kitchen where you can cook your own meals.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. The location was perfect—convenience.I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet with beautiful views.
The room was not so good as we expected, being sparsely decorated. The interior outside rooms looked a bit cheap, contrary to its intention. However, breakfast was really nice. There was a wide variety of dishes and Icelandic choices. We saw northern lights near the hotels.
The room is spacious and comfortable, with a simple yet warm design. Opening the window, I was greeted by the magnificent Icelandic mountain scenery. The morning mist and sunlight intertwined, creating a scene from a painting. At night, the silence was complete, with the sound of the wind and the whisper of a distant waterfall. Every moment was a perfect opportunity to completely relax, immerse in the purest tranquility and beauty of nature, and truly escape from the hustle and bustle of life.
Hótel Jökulsárlón is a stunning gem with breathtaking views of the glacier lagoon. The modern design, cozy rooms, and exceptional sauna and hot tub facilities create a perfect retreat. The staff’s warmth and the serene atmosphere make it an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended for an unforgettable Icelandic experience!
Service is very good, breakfast is delicious, but remind not to open the window! Don't believe that there are no mosquitoes in Iceland. I met the largest mosquitoes in my life and flew into the room. I didn't sleep well all night and was bitten all night.
Stay here, drive for a while in the morning, and you can see Gullfoss Falls, which is very relaxing. The hotel has a restaurant and bar where you can have a drink in the evening. My husband brought the mutton rice and the staff was very nice. This is private. It's quite nice to sit in a warm hut and watch the snow falling outside.
The room is very clean, the soundproofing and insulation are very good, the dinner is especially delicious, the menu is very rich, the lamb and daily chef recommendations are excellent, it is the first choice in a small town in southern Iceland

JJanet Love lifeThe hotel facilities are very creative. We had exactly 6 people occupying the whole room with bunk beds. It felt very novel. The restaurant next to it needs to be reserved in advance.
The hot spring bathing area on the balcony on the second floor is small and cute. I will visit again next time👍🏻
GGuxiaobaizhiaihemeishiThe location of the hotel is very good. It feels like being on another planet. The bed is very comfortable. You can see the scenery outside when you open the door. The breakfast is very rich and the time is very long. There is free parking here.
AAnonymous Solo TravelerPretty nice and extremely kind reception people. I love them.
As usual like other hotels in Iceland, you should take a ride to get here.
The hotel room was big enough and there were 3 beds in the room although I'm staying by myself.
I love the way how the room is formed. I had two doors, one led me to the yard side and the other one faced the other rooms as well as the reception.
IDK this is the general rule but the shower pressure was horrible. It took more than 30 minutes to take a shower.
Speaking of the Hot tub, it was pretty small and adorable. But if you have plans to visit either Blue Lagoon or Secret Lagoon, You'd better skip this Hot tub.
OOlgaWe stayed in this cabin for a one night and were very impressed by how comfortable and well equipped it was. The kitchenette had a microwave and a kettle to prepare simple meals, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The floor heating created a cozy atmosphere, especially in the mornings. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the sea, where the fresh air and views are breathtaking. One of the highlights was the many sheep grazing nearby, which gave the area a peaceful, countryside charm. It’s an ideal place to relax and recharge, highly recommended!
No WiFi in the cabin available but in the lounge in the building nearby
LLivoryGreat place as a rest stop near kirkjubaer. We used Hotel Laki is a base for 3D2N. Nice view from room, service staff spoke english very well. Breakfast was basic and sufficient, eggs, vegetables, cold cuts and cereal with various sauces. Bread toasting station. Id say the machine coffee (espresso based) was one of the best machine made ones we had in Iceland. Nice view from restaurant and bar as well. My room was missed for cleaning but its fine not much had to be done anyway. Plenty of room and bathroom space. Welcomed by a lovely border collie in the compound. Bar opens late till 11
FFabian YipThe place gave off a very country club kind of vibe, the room was well decorated, enough space to open 2 large luggages and still have some space to walk.
The bed was comfortable for the night’s rest too and the breakfast though not many options but all were delicious👍🏼
The nearest town from this accommodation was a 10-15mins drive, hence the location had a high score.
This will be my to go to accommodation when I visit Iceland again!
MMutouVery satisfied with everything, but there is only one bathroom for taking a shower, which is a bit inconvenient. I personally feel that the breakfast is quite good.
AAnonymous UserVery clean! Beautiful surroundings! However location is a drive from any shops or activities. Also, you aren’t allowed to wear shoes inside the building. Limited amount of skippers available.
JJanet Lim SC:) Good wifi
:) Ample counter space in bathroom and bathtub
:) Good powerful Braun hair dryer
:) Ample and accessible power outlets in room
:) Car park outside apartment, free
:) Lift
:(( room door number lock is flimsy. Need to make sure your door closed properly. No extra lock on inside.
:( all-in-one type of shampoo-shower gel.
:( No human service staff. Self service number code entry to Apartment and Room. Hmmm... as long as e-system are not faulty.
