Honestly, I was skeptical because there were no pictures or reviews prior to the time of the booking! But honestly my husband were pleasantly surprised!! Newly built so obviously in good condition. We had a corner room on the top floor that had a nice balcony. Shower with 2 heads with good water pressure. Some parts of the hotel were still working on construction so a bit busy, but besides that it's close to the station. The staff are lovely. The room itself was beautiful!! Definitely would come back!!

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the terminal, making it perfect for transfers. The room was quite spacious. The biggest issue is that the hotel is huge; walking from the front desk to the room took over 200 meters. I recommend asking at check-in if there are any rooms closer to an elevator.

It is a good hotel, but the location is not really good because there is no public transportation except the shuttle from the hotel which charges 11 euros if I am not mistaken. There are only five restaurants around. This hotel is recommended to people who have a car because the place is very quiet.

This hotel is great for self-driving trips, as it's a bit far from central Milan. The room facilities and services are excellent, offering good value for money. There's plenty of parking available both at the hotel and in the surrounding area.

The hotel’s main advantage is its excellent location — I could see Terminal 2 right from my window. I didn’t include breakfast, as it costs €14, but the option is available. As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel doesn’t provide complimentary water or a kettle, which would be a welcome improvement for guests’ comfort. The free shuttle bus to Terminal 1 is convenient and easy to find. However, travelers with heavy luggage should note that the walking distance from the shuttle stop to the actual departure area is longer than indicated. Although the sign says “4 minutes,” it took me closer to 10 minutes, passing through the Arrival Hall before reaching Departures.

The hostel is located 8 minutes walk from Milano Bovisa Politecnico train station. Direct train to and from Malpensa Airport T2 just takes 30 minutes. As far as getting around the city of Milano, there is a Tram-Bus stop (Bausan) just under 5 minutes walk from hostel (after the round about). The 4 bedded sharing room comes with en-suite bathroom with timed hot showers. Bath towel available for rent at 2€. Hostel-wide WiFi access available. The in-house bar-bistro offers good selection of Italian and international fairs. For weary travellers the in-house dinning option is most appreciated. During the day, the common area has a more co-working vibe. As the sun sets, the ambiance transitions to a buzzing vibrant bar-bistro.

If you plan to take the airport shuttle to the hotel, make sure to contact them in advance to confirm the schedule. Otherwise, you'll be waiting indefinitely at Gate 5 of T1. Also, be aware that the pick-up fees for T1 and T2 are different! I previously read many reviews complaining about the hotel's front desk staff being incredibly rude, but we didn't experience that this time, which was a relief. At check-out, a lovely front desk employee (short in stature, wearing a tape measure-style bracelet) even helped me print two tax refund forms for free. The room's hardware and decor are quite new, but there isn't a traditional door lock. The hotel explained that once the door is closed, it cannot be opened from the outside. The breakfast was pretty good, high quality, but it's typical Western fare.

Unfortunately, my stay at Glam Milano was very disappointing. The room temperature was around 27°C throughout the night, and despite air conditioning being listed as an amenity, no effective cooling was available. I contacted reception multiple times and was told the heating would be turned off, but this never happened. The room remained uncomfortably hot and made proper rest impossible. I arrived late at night after a 16-hour long-haul flight and had no realistic alternative but to stay, despite the conditions. To make matters worse, I was also required to pay an additional fee on arrival, which felt unacceptable given the circumstances. A hotel at this price point should be able to regulate room temperature properly or at least resolve issues when guests raise them. The lack of solution, combined with poor handling of complaints, significantly impacted my stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values comfort, rest, or responsive service.

Arrived at Milan Malpensa Airport at 8 PM, so I picked a hotel nearby. It was very convenient as the airport's free shuttle bus passes by. There's not much around the hotel itself. Breakfast starts at 5 AM. They offer a private shuttle service to and from the airport for 15 euros per person, which is great for early departures or late arrivals. It's a typical Holiday Inn Express with standard facilities, and the price was quite reasonable. Many people on my flight chose this hotel. Check-in at the front desk was a bit slow; late at night, there was a long line, and the staff seemed to be on endless phone calls.

GGuest UserNice hotel service and nice location. Near the train and the bus station. They call it the Eternal City. A phrase that feels almost trite until you stand alone, utterly dwarfed, beneath the Pantheon’s impossible dome, or trace your fingers over travertine worn smooth by two thousand years of passing hands. Rome isn’t just eternal; it’s immediate, visceral, a theatre of existence where the past isn’t preserved behind glass, but bleeds passionately into the vibrant, chaotic present. And experiencing it solo? That’s not loneliness; it’s liberation. It’s a conversation, intimate and profound, between your soul and the city’s timeless spirit. My dialogue began at dawn, chasing the first honeyed light spilling across the Piazza Navona. Alone, you move differently. Unburdened by consensus or compromise, I followed whims: detouring down a cobbled *vicolo* heavy with the scent of baking cornetti, drawn by the sudden, breathtaking reveal of the Trevi Fountain, still relatively quiet. Tossing my coin wasn’t just a tourist ritual; it was a whispered promise to the city, a silent pact sealed in the cool morning air and the fountain’s roaring majesty. Solitude amplifies these moments – the crisp *click* of your heels on ancient stone, the unfiltered awe as Bernini’s marble figures seem to surge from the water, frozen in divine drama. You hear the city’s own heartbeat, the murmur of awakening life, the distant clang of a baker’s shutter, the splash echoing in the vast basin. Wandering towards the Roman Forum, the sheer weight of history becomes palpable, almost a physical pressure. Alone, you can truly stop. You can perch on a sun-warmed block of tufa, gaze at the skeletal arches of the Basilica of Maxentius reaching defiantly towards a piercing blue sky, and let your imagination run riot. No commentary needed, no shared speculation required. Here, amid the ghosts of senators and centurions, the silence isn’t empty; it’s resonant. You feel the centuries compress. A stray cat sunning itself on Julius Caesar’s altar becomes a perfect, poignant metaphor for time’s relentless, indifferent march. The Colosseum looms nearby, its brutal grandeur undeniable. Observing it solo, you feel its dual nature more acutely – the awe-inspiring engineering marvel and the chilling echo of spectated suffering. It prompts introspection, a quiet contemplation on humanity’s enduring contradictions, impossible amidst a crowd’s chatter. Then, the Pantheon. Stepping inside is like walking into the mind of God, conceived by mortals. The sheer scale, the perfection of the dome – that oculus open to the heavens – is humbling beyond words. A shaft of sunlight pierces the dusty interior, illuminating motes dancing like celestial dust. Sitting alone on a bench, head tilted back, the immensity washes over you. The whispers of fellow visitors fade into a reverent hush. You feel infinitesimally small yet profoundly connected to the generations who stood precisely here, awestruck, for millennia. Solitude allows this space for pure, unadulterated wonder. It’s not just seeing; it’s *feeling* the architectural genius, the spiritual ambition made stone. But Rome isn’t just monumental stones; it’s vibrant, messy, delicious life. Crossing the Tiber into Trastevere, the atmosphere shifts. Narrow streets twist like tangled yarn, laundry flutters like colourful flags between ochre buildings, and the air thickens with the garlicky perfume of *cacio e pepe* and frying *carciofi*. Solo travel makes you porous. You notice the old men arguing passionately over espresso at a tiny bar, the clatter of plates from a hidden trattoria kitchen, the effortless elegance of a Roman woman navigating the cobbles in impossible heels. You slip into a *salumeria*, point at mysterious cheeses and glistening olives, and assemble a picnic feast. Finding a quiet step on Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, watching life swirl around the ancient basilica as you savour pecorino sharp enough to make your eyes wa

MM353054****Oh my goodness, this place is absolutely amazing! Out of all the hotels I've stayed at in Europe, this is by far my favorite. It's super close to the train station, just a ten-minute walk, and the subway station is only two streets away. The room is incredibly spacious! And the breakfast is absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

LLaurentontherunArea is okayish although the building off-season is a bit creepy. 1 toilet and 1 shower per floor. Cleanish but the shower is super cramped so you will have to step in to be able to close the rest of the shower closet. Cabin is supposed to have some sort of TV and high tech functions but clearly this has not been mantained. Bed is extremely soft. I would have slept even better if the dorm light could be switched of; instead the light bled through the curtain opening, necessitating two different sleep masks. Free breakfast in the morning which is always nice!

GGoh Wee SiongAmazing location — just a few minutes’ walk to the Duomo and metro station. The staff were super friendly, cheerful, and always ready to help. The atmosphere was lively and social, with free welcome drinks, shared dinners, and plenty of opportunities to meet other travelers. The common areas and rooftop terrace were cozy and fun, and breakfast was great too! The room had a slight musty smell and the air circulation wasn’t very good, so it felt a bit stuffy at times. However, everything else was great and the staff made the stay enjoyable.

GGuest UserAndrea, the PR manager, is definitely the best I met in Milan, Bologna and  Parma. He is extremely helpful with excellent hospitality. Thanks to him for avoiding the traffic congestion due to a concert at Duomo and arrange for us a direct transportation to airport at a reasonable price.  Andrea is definitely a good reason for us to come back to Milano more often and stay in this hotel.

GGuest UserRoom larger than average (it was a superior) very comfortable bed with double pillow and large and bright bathroom. Excellent cleanliness of the room and common areas. A bit small and sacrificed the breakfast room in a 4 star and for the price paid the lack of a restaurant inside remains an unknown. Bad also the parking for guests it was clear that with a full hotel it could not contain all the cars in relation to the number of rooms. Very bad to discover only at check out that it was paid.
