The camp is located outside of the official Wadi Rum desert, but easy to reach from the main road.
Tent: clean and spacious, had everything I needed. Hot shower was amazing. It was clean, as clean as things can be in a desert. I just had one mosquito in the tent, but might be more in other months - be prepared.
Dinner: absolutely amazing. A lot of great dishes, live music, separate desert. I really enjoyed the atmosphere.
Breakfast: not as amazing as dinner, but still absolutely sufficient.
Tour: Had a tour on the first day with another company - it was ok, but mostly covered the main spots - many other people there. On the second day booked a tour with the hotel directly - price was fair and the spots much better than the day before inside Wadi Rum. More spectacular and almost no people. Absolutely amazing.
Service: organized transport to the visitor center to catch my bus to Amman and made a fair deal together with the tour.
So actually no need to get into Wadi Rum village, you can get better spots directly from the camp. The pictures are all from the second tour organized by the camp.
Very polite and hospitable frint desk, especially Randa and Carmen. Service from all staff was very good. Only limitations are facilities for young kids. This hotel would suit mostly business travellers or couples. Also of note, is the newly refurbished roof-top bar .overlooking Gulf of Aqaba
The location is nice, 15 minutes away from the center in car
With a private clean beach
The staff was great
The rooms are cleaned everyday
This is not the first time I go there
It is a really nice place, I highly recommend it
When you stay at Wadi Rum Desert Adventures in Wadi Rum, you'll be steps from Wadi Rum Protected Area. This campground is within the vicinity of Khazali Canyon and Um Frouth Rock Bridge.
Take advantage of the campground's 24-hour room service. A complimentary local cuisine breakfast is served daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 30 guestrooms. Bathrooms with showers are provided. Conveniences include complimentary bottled water, and housekeeping is provided daily.
The hotel is sweet and tidy and respected staff
To be honest, the first thing that came in was the towels and the beds had hair.
And the piano in the bathroom isn't added to it.
We told them, they immediately cleaned everything.
Everything was good and ok except that when I arrived to the hotel around 10:00 pm no body was there I had to go next door to the pharmacy to ask if the reception was open or if I had to call someone to check in , the pharmacy employee had to go inside the hotels office to find someone after 15 minutes someone came in
This hotel under major renovation, the room is outdated, not clean for sure, I checked in and I was super tired after 12 hours of flight all the sudden falling asleep right away when I wake up to use the bathroom I find out it’s full of urine and the shower full of see sand, I called the room service at 3 morning and I asked them to clean it especially I wasn’t able to use the bathroom, I had to clean it my self, since they ignored me, the breakfast was great has a lot of different selection, over all I give it 4out of 10 I can’t believe it has the intercontinental franchise.
The pool area is very nice. There are 2 adult pools, the family pools and the slide are located so as not to interfere with the adult pools. The beach is beautiful, you can snorkel. Very attentive service. The location of the hotel is great because it is right on the Red Sea. You can also have dinner outside of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied. A very relaxed stay.
This is the second Mövenpick hotel I stayed at during my trip to Jordan. Overall, it is not as good as the one on the Dead Sea, especially the service. When I made the reservation, I clearly stated that this trip was for our anniversary. The hotel did not make any decorations, and the front desk did not express blessings to us. Not only was it unenthusiastic, the room was even occupied on the first night because of the tour group that arrived that day. Yes, I changed the double bed room I originally booked into a twin bed room. This is completely different from the service at the Movenpick Hotel on the Dead Sea. I will not recommend my friends to come here, I am very disappointed!
Super location and location. All necessary is there. A tip for those who move on the car. Sign up with the hotel for earlier, they will be in touch with you where to come. When you travel to the Wadi Ram desert, you will be sweated by the police to first put a stamp on the jordanpass (it is sure to buy before traveling to Jordan , it is both a visa and a ticket for many sights) or buy a ticket. Where to put the seal nobody listen and especially don't dislocate, local comrades will say that you have a bad hotel, a bad place, I will give you better, don't believe, but just keep in touch with this hotel and you won't regret. So much everything is cozy and chic.

AAhmadStaff was perfect .. everything was perfect in this hotel
My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional from start to finish. I genuinely felt like royalty throughout my entire visit. Every single staff member — from housekeeping to the restaurant team and the pool attendants — went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I have never experienced such outstanding hospitality before. The hotel manager, Mr. Eyad, deserves special recognition for his professionalism and kindness. He personally assisted me with a late checkout, as my flight was scheduled later in the day, which made a huge difference. I would also like to commend Ken and Duncan from the restaurant staff, who were remarkably attentive, courteous, and warm. Each morning, they anticipated my preferences, bringing my latte and omelet without me even having to ask. The hotel’s location is superb, offering breathtaking views of both the sea and the pool. The cleanliness was impeccable, with housekeeping service provided twice a day, and the quality of the food was excellent. Every detail exceeded my expectations. This was, without doubt, one of the best experiences I have ever had. Jordanians are among the kindest people I have met, and I am already looking forward to returning in the near future.
SStarryLIThe last hotel in Jordan, on the edge of the Red Sea, is perfect for a relaxing vacation. I really like the hotel's balcony, facing the sea, where you can watch the sunset, and there are free beer and snacks.
🏜️ “Magical Desert Escape at Hasan Zawaideh Camp” 🌌 Staying at Hasan Zawaideh Camp in Wadi Rum was one of the most unforgettable travel experiences I’ve ever had. The camp perfectly blends comfort with the raw beauty of the desert, making it a truly magical getaway. ✨ The tent was clean, cozy, and surprisingly comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing night under the stars. At night, the view of the starry desert sky was absolutely breathtaking — something you can’t experience in the city. 🍽️ Dinner and breakfast were delicious, served in a warm, communal setting with traditional Jordanian hospitality. Sharing a meal by the fire while listening to local music made the experience even more special. 🚙 We also joined a desert tour arranged by the camp, which took us across Wadi Rum’s stunning landscapes — red sand dunes, rock formations, and panoramic views that felt like stepping into another world. Most importantly, the staff were so kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel like family rather than just guests. ⸻ 🌟 Highlights: • Cozy, well-kept tents with amazing desert views 🏕️ • Star-filled night sky 🌌 • Delicious traditional meals 🍴 • Exciting Wadi Rum desert tour 🚙 • Warm and genuine hospitality 💛 ⸻ If you’re looking for an authentic yet comfortable way to experience the beauty of Wadi Rum, Hasan Zawaideh Camp is the perfect choice. A true desert dream come true! #WadiRumWonder #HasanZawaidehCamp #DesertDreams
The hotel is very nice and has a great private beach. The staff was kind and helpful and the breakfast buffet had lots of delicious options. Would definitely recommend!
