The hotel is just less than 5 mins walk from Okayama station. It is also near big malls such as Aeon Mall and Takashimaya, where you’ll be spoilt for choices on food. I like to walk and I was able to get to Okayama castle in less than half an hour. The room is clean and quiet, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Is a pretty hotel next to the JR station. Also next to a big shopping mall Aeon. On Sunday, a gentleman played piano in the lobby, really lovely. Most of the room has nice view and reasonable size from Japan standard. The only negative feeling about the hotel is the restaurants. Before I rush to take the train on Sunday, I wish to go to the buffet restaurant. The waiter at the counter just informed me in a very rude manner the restaurant is fully booked. Same as the manager of the restaurant. This is different from most of the hotel which always try to accommodate their hotel guest. I am Diamond member of Cathay Pacific airline for 20 years. Spending a lot of time in hotel each year. I have to say I feel extremely sorry for what happened. As the front desk staffs of this hotel is excellent. Same as the hotel set up is so good. But the manner of the waiter/ manager of the restaurant did spoil the feeling of the guest tremendously.

Reasonable rates. Straight line distance to Okayama Station. Will definitely stay here again if I am in Okayama.

The hot spring water was perfect for me, who has knee pain. There were many group guests that day, so we took our baths at different times, so I was very satisfied with being able to take my time. We stayed here for three nights and the location is great as you can walk to the Bihan historical area, as well as the JR station and Mitsue Outlet Mall which are around 750 m away. There are a myriad of eateries in the area, from izakaya to ramen, and a tonkatsu restaurant with a Michelin star. The hotel provides amenities such as yukata, dental and shaving kits. There is also a high tea with some sweets and some savouries. Breakfast is included in the price and you collect the boxes from the lobby. It was similar on all three days and included cold sandwiches and salads. If you want coffee you need to buy a hotel tumbler for 1000 yen, after which hot drinks are free flow. Staff were friendly, particularly the younger ones wearing the blue shirts, such as Ms Pek from Korea and the young Indian man. The exception was the female floor manager in black suit, who was effusive to locals but did not seem to know how to deal with foreigners. Overall, it was a good hotel stay.

The location is excellent. It was walking distance to the hotel, and to the Korakuen Garden and Castle.

It's quite negative that Wi-Fi is not available, but it was good that there was a morning dinner and a large communal bath sauna, and the Bikan district was close!
