Well worth the price! There are signs inside the train terminal guiding to the hotel. The staff are very kind, they allowed me to check out a little late bc I felt ill the morning of my check out and was moving slowly. I didn’t visit the rooftop bar or restaurant to eat, but I went there to see Mt Fuji on a clear day and the staff were kind enough to just let me take photos. Overall- one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan!

I stayed at this inn during my trip to Atami. It's far from the station, but there's a shuttle bus, so I think you can use that for transportation. You can also take the bus from stop 1 to Ainohara to Atami Sanso, but it's a bit of a walk from the nearest stop, so I recommend taking the shuttle bus. Everyone at the staff, from the reception to the shuttle bus driver, was incredibly kind and heartwarming. Breakfast and dinner are included, and I was surprised to see a buffet-style breakfast and a luxurious unaju (eel and rice bowl) in the evening. The breakfast buffet had just the right variety, from gratin to grilled salmon, and I really enjoyed it. The nameko mushroom miso soup was absolutely delicious, and I was impressed. It was such a satisfying trip to Atami that I'd definitely like to stay here again the next time I visit Atami! Thank you to all the staff.

The building itself was beautiful both inside and out. The rooms were spacious and the service was excellent. The best part was the food. I had breakfast and dinner, and was blown away by how delicious it was, even better than I expected. This is the kind of accommodation that makes you want to stay again.

The seaview room could watch the sunrise from the balcony. I turned my alarm just to watch the sun rised from the ocean. The buffet dinner and breakfast was great. Dinner buffet provided Italian wine which was very great. The breakfast we could customize the sashimi rice bowl which was wonderful. Although the dining area was a bit crowded but the space was fine enough.

Knowing that hotels would definitely be full after the 'Finale Live,' I booked my stay in Numazu a few days before the event for a pilgrimage. The Riverside Hotel is a well-known spot among Aqours fans. The service was impeccable; everything was fantastic, though the air conditioning was a bit weak. It was also incredibly convenient to get to Numazu Port, whether by cycling or walking! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Numazu! Aqours Saikou!!!

The sea view is unbeatable, and it's a 5-6 minute walk from the station. They offer a shuttle service to the station upon checkout, by appointment. A centipede ran into my room... but they changed my room when I requested it, which was fine. I stayed for three days, and the breakfast was decent. The service was typical Japanese, meaning you couldn't really find any fault with it. The biggest surprise was on the day of checkout: there was a huge typhoon in Izu, all trains were stopped. While we were feeling helpless at the station, a hotel front desk staff member arrived! They told us that because we had previously booked a shuttle, they were taking us to the larger Izu-Kogen station! I was so touched! That's truly Japanese service, solving an urgent problem! Overall, it was really good!

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Free juice and coffee are provided in the lobby. The Western buffet breakfast is rich and delicious. Overall, it is a great homestay. It would be even more perfect if there was an elevator.

Service: 5/5 – On September 5, 2025, Typhoon Pipa swept across the Izu Peninsula, causing the Izu Kyuko Line to suspend all services during the day. The hotel arranged a minivan to transport all checked-out guests to Izu-Kogen Station, a 40-minute drive. Onsen (Hot Springs): 5/5 – The hot spring area is a classic, aged traditional ryokan, but the cleanliness is impeccable. The hot springs are certified, and both the men's and women's outdoor rotenburo baths are unique, with the main large bath facing the coast. Food: 4.5/5 – Both breakfast and dinner were a slightly lavish kaiseki style, and the portions were more than generous. Even our two big appetites were completely stuffed. We experienced seven different ways of preparing Kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) over two days, including a whole fish served on the first night. The lobby offers complimentary Suntory beer, which is quite good, along with free snacks. However, soft drinks are not free and need to be purchased from a vending machine. If you have specific room type requests, you can communicate them with the ryokan in advance, and they genuinely try to accommodate them. When staying at this type of old-fashioned ryokan, it's best to state your needs directly, otherwise, it might affect your experience. Higashiizu Town is a rural town built into the mountains. Shopping is decent thanks to an Aeon supermarket, but dining out isn't very convenient.

The room was very spacious with direct views of the Pacific Ocean. Soaking in the private onsen on the terrace, you can take amazing photos that make it look like you're standing right on the Pacific. The hotel's location is a bit remote, but they offer a daily shuttle service to and from Izukyu Shimoda Station/Shimoda Station. The owner is Chinese and very kind, so there are no communication issues. The local specialty, Kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) from the deep sea, was incredibly delicious.

AAichanggedexiaochouyuWe had arranged in advance with the hotel to prepare a birthday cake for our child’s 4th birthday. The staff were so thoughtful — they beautifully decorated our room with many lovely balloons. Our child was absolutely delighted, and we had a wonderful birthday celebration at the hotel!

SSJzuopinThe hotel's location is a bit out of the way, right near a highway exit, but there's a huge outlet mall nearby, and I had a very fruitful shopping trip there 😄. The hotel's cleanliness and service were quite good; it's been open for over 10 years, but it still feels as new as ever. What's especially worth mentioning is that the hotel's dining service exceeded expectations, the teppanyaki was superb 👍. I was also lucky enough to see Mount Fuji 🗻 from the hotel!

GGuest UserThe family booked a triple room, the boss adjusted it to 205, twin beds plus tatami, the room boss, living in 5-6 people is no problem. There is a kitchen. Free drinks in the lobby on the first floor, and it is very pleasant to sit and play games at night. From Izu Plateau Station to the hotel, you can make an appointment to pick up or take a taxi. The local road is narrow and it is all uphill and downhill. It is too inconvenient to drag your luggage. Quiet surroundings, you can see the sea from a distance

CChuchuyoumeijingBooked this hotel to see the Atami Fireworks Festival, and it was pretty good value. Since our room didn't have a sea view, the front desk gave us two tickets to watch the fireworks from the rooftop. The room was clean, just a bit small. Slippers were reusable, but they provided disposable towels, two per person, along with skincare products and hair oil. The stay included breakfast and dinner for two, which was enough to fill us up, and featured some local specialties like Atami pudding and ice cream. Getting a taxi was difficult; we needed help from the front desk (some staff weren't very helpful; they said they'd call a taxi for us but didn't, so we ended up taking the hotel shuttle to Atami Station to catch one).

MM60065****The room was spacious with a sea view and a private beach, perfect for surf enthusiasts. The hotel food was delicious, and the service was excellent and friendly. It's very close to the JR station, and there's a shuttle bus that cycles to Kawazu Station, making it super convenient. Overall, it offers better value for money than hotels in Inatori.

JJUNHO(I stayed at the Ezaki building) The interior facilities are very good. There are two shower rooms in the duplex-type independent building, so it is spacious and nice. There is a bit of a distance between the check-in counter and the accommodation, but... a red-haired English-speaking staff member at the check-in counter personally guides you. He is very funny. I have been to Japan many times, but this was the first time I had a language barrier like this, but I can't tell you how good it was to communicate with this person in English. The room is clean, and there are two beddings except for the bed, but it is not just a mat, but a topper, so it is comfortable enough, and the bed is also comfortable and nice. The service cookie is just Lotus flavored. They gave me a drink coupon as a welcome drink, but I couldn't use it, which was a shame. A convenience store is also about 5 minutes away?? Unlike regular hotels, you have to take off your shoes to enter, so it was more convenient, and anyway, the facilities are good and clean, so it was nice. There are department stores, shopping malls, Wasabi House, drugstores, Nanaya, and other shopping streets within 10-15 minutes, so it's good. The only downside is that security can be a bit weak...? Since it's Japan, there's no such risk burden, but it feels that way. It's a structure where you enter by holding the door lock key behind the wall, but um... (see photo) Anyway, that's it... So there's a little noise from cars passing by. But it's okay. Everything is great. Oh, and the doorbell sound was also the convenience store bell sound, so it was funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If you're thinking about going here, it might be good to go ㅎㅎ Oh, another interesting thing is that you can send various inquiries or things you need to know before check-in through email chat starting the day before check-in.
