The room was very spacious with direct views of the Pacific Ocean. Soaking in the private onsen on the terrace, you can take amazing photos that make it look like you're standing right on the Pacific. The hotel's location is a bit remote, but they offer a daily shuttle service to and from Izukyu Shimoda Station/Shimoda Station. The owner is Chinese and very kind, so there are no communication issues. The local specialty, Kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) from the deep sea, was incredibly delicious.
The hotel is old building,My honest review is I feel little bit disappointed with my room.I booked a room with a lake view. But when I’m arrived they give us the room that there was no view at the lake. The aircon is not really cold so we decided to open up a window.
And I feel disappointed about the dining. In the boking site they included the pictures of there dining up to 90 plus over pictures of the buffet breakfast,That is none as I expected on the pictures of dining.
Just an advice,To the management of the hotel. Can you please separate the area of the tables and the location of all types of dining pictures.
Because as I expected to the pictures that you put into your dining buffet is all are available to the guest. But you only served a simple food buffet not fit to the room rate.
And I suggest that hope you can re arrange your dining buffet pictures not to put it on one place, like Bars, wedding reception and etc.
Because guests will think that it is all available when stay and booked it right away to think it was cheap but in the end it is really disappointing.
Thank you!
The service was very good and the place is amazing. Nevertheless they didn’t allow us to have dinner or breakfast in the hotel as they said it was fully booked, and when requested for late check in we were asked to pay more. It would have been expected to be able to at least check in a bit later since we couldn’t enjoy the dinner or breakfast in the hotel and was inconvenient.
The room was quite large, but there were few charging points. The public onsen was charged 150 yen, regardless of whether or not to use it. We didn't ask because we couldn't speak the language. The breakfast wasn't to my liking; it was incredibly unpalatable. The hotel was able to help with taxis, costing 2,200 yen per person. It felt like the village was deserted. This is Central Izu. I booked the wrong place. We only visited Panorama Park, which wasn't much else. We also didn't visit the restored temple.
The room has a direct view of Mount Fuji. Breakfast starts at 7 am, and I missed it for two days. 😥 One day I had to take the 6:45 am bus to Subashiriguchi 5th Station, and one day I had to catch the 7:05 am train... The hotel also increased the daily free draft beer, and I drank it both days. 🙏 Thank you very much. 🤗

## Ambiance:
As a guesthouse, it's absolutely beautiful. The historic house is filled with thoughtful touches from the owners, creating a warm and aesthetically pleasing environment.
## Service:
First off, both owners are Chinese, so communication was seamless. The hot water and Jingyang Fucha (dark tea) were incredibly comforting to drink. You can pre-order dinner and breakfast, and the home-cooked flavors were truly soothing for the body and mind, plus the prices were excellent. Additionally, the owner was considerate of guests arriving by public transport; when not busy, they offered free pickup and drop-off at Izu Kogen. However, this isn't possible during meal times or very late/early arrivals/departures, as it's a complimentary extra service.
## Room:
The bedding was very comfortable, and it was quiet at night. The shared bathroom and shower facilities were more than adequate. The room wasn't huge, but selecting one based on your needs won't feel cramped.
Overall, my stay was very satisfying. I definitely want to come back during cherry blossom season to truly slow down and experience it. Also, when I mentioned wanting to soak, the owner kindly arranged for me to visit a special Izu volcanic mud bath, a local spot where I experienced a traditional Japanese 'onsen' (hot spring bath). It has its unique charm, just like our Northern Chinese bathhouses, though Northern bathhouses definitely have superior facilities and recreational options.
Highly recommend this hotel! It's in a fantastic location right next to Shizuoka Station. Step out and you're at the train and bus stations. You can catch a bus from platform 11 at the bus station to Nihondaira, where the observation deck offers clear views of Mount Fuji. There's also a delicious Ippudo ramen shop right in the station.
The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and polite, always ready to answer any questions. There's a smoking room on the first floor.
If you're visiting Shizuoka City, staying at this hotel is definitely the right choice.
I don't think there is any problem with the service side, and I think it is not particularly problematic for those who can sleep in a small room.
Instead of being cheap, there is a charge for those treated as basic amenities such as toothbrushes. I regret that I should have had it myself.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Free juice and coffee are provided in the lobby. The Western buffet breakfast is rich and delicious. Overall, it is a great homestay. It would be even more perfect if there was an elevator.

GGuest UserLocation: The hotel is located on a mountain, but they offer a shuttle service, so it didn't feel inconvenient. However, if you plan on going out for a stroll in the evening, this might not be the best place to stay as there's nothing around in the mountains.
Environment: The room's balcony offered beautiful mountain and sea views.
Room: It was a very spacious Japanese-style room, which I really liked.
Food: The meals provided by the hotel were quite simple and the taste was decent – enough to fill you up. I particularly enjoyed the eel rice for dinner.
Facilities: They have Chinese-speaking staff, karaoke, and a mahjong room, making it very suitable for trips with friends.
SSYXFA heaven for car lovers, and I'm lucky to be able to visit this place, and also enjoy the drive experience with a top-up.
Location is slightly away from everything so you are stranded unless driving (you should be), and you're just minutes from Gotemba with so much choice for food and drinks compared to the hotels choices that were in my opinion limited and costly.
Lastly, as the hotel was a part of the museum, it was a bummer that we had to pay to enter the museum despite the high cost of the hotel.
FFenyuanqiqiOn our second day in Atami, we switched to the Resorpia Hotel by the sea. Since we were coming from another onsen hotel, we took a taxi directly to the 1st floor. Guests can only access this hotel by walking down from the 9th floor on the hill.
The location is fantastic; we could see the ocean right from our room's balcony. The next morning, we could even watch the 'Tangerine Sea' sunrise 🌅 from bed.
The public bath is on the 5th floor. It's a bit of a shame there's no open-air onsen, so you can only enjoy the view through the window while bathing.
The hotel offers a shuttle service to Atami Station, but you need to book it in advance.
The facilities are a bit dated, but the hygiene is still very good. Overall, it offers decent value for money.
GGuest UserThe structure seems to be a legacy of the bubble era. The luxurious layout allows you to move between the main building and each building via pedestrians.
It's reminiscent of the 5-star hotels of Phuket and Bali of the past. The all-inclusive plan also feels like good value.
Unfortunately, however, maintenance of the interior and exterior has not kept up, and various parts are badly deteriorated. The bathhouse is also made of good granite, so it should be polished properly. The exterior walls are so black that you want to use a Karcher cleaner. I wish it was a little cleaner.
SSJzuopinThe hotel's location is a bit out of the way, right near a highway exit, but there's a huge outlet mall nearby, and I had a very fruitful shopping trip there 😄. The hotel's cleanliness and service were quite good; it's been open for over 10 years, but it still feels as new as ever. What's especially worth mentioning is that the hotel's dining service exceeded expectations, the teppanyaki was superb 👍. I was also lucky enough to see Mount Fuji 🗻 from the hotel!

GGuest UserIt was love from the first sight. Lovely and silent place that what you need after all the hustle and bustle of big cities. Hot springs are relaxing and food is delicious. Wish had more days there.
Big thanks to all the staff who created such atmosphere

GGuest UserThe family booked a triple room, the boss adjusted it to 205, twin beds plus tatami, the room boss, living in 5-6 people is no problem. There is a kitchen. Free drinks in the lobby on the first floor, and it is very pleasant to sit and play games at night. From Izu Plateau Station to the hotel, you can make an appointment to pick up or take a taxi. The local road is narrow and it is all uphill and downhill. It is too inconvenient to drag your luggage. Quiet surroundings, you can see the sea from a distance
11881736****The room was spacious with a fantastic sea view. The breakfast leaned more towards a Japanese style. The only slight drawback was the hotel's location, which was a bit out of the way, requiring a 15-minute walk to reach the commercial area and the beach. However, the hotel's ground floor had a large convenience store and souvenir shop, both well-stocked, which somewhat made up for the slightly inconvenient location.
