This is one of the most amazing hotel buildings I've stayed in. Built right into the rock walls that this beautiful city is built upon, with tress growing up through the middle of it, a giant breakfast room with huge rack wall faces, a beautiful seating area on the fourth floor, and a gorgeous rooftop patio with amazing views of the city. The level of service at the hotel was also terrific. Some of the best I've had in Mexico. People who really wanted to take care of any issues you may have. And attentive service in the dining room. Breakfasts were very good. Not included, but a fair value, and a wonderful place to start your day. And the location is terrific. Just off the main strip, central to everything. The only downside is that the rooms are pretty average. Better than average beds, but small and not great, with lumpy pillows. It takes several minutes for hot water to make it to the room. No fridge or coffee maker. and

my experiences from these hotels has been positive so far. this one stands out because i think the owners dont pay attention to it. the bathroom had no warm water or adequate water flow. it was spacious yes but i also wanted to bathe. the breakfast area is in the center of the establishment and only has natural light from the top which is 7 ? stories high. so if you have and early morning the area is not adequately lit. also the breakfast bouffet is lacking in choice. very few things offered. the bed excellent as always. for me 2 were the worst elements: i tried to talk to receptionist over the phone and he didnt speak english well and i found a cockroach in the restroom at the reception area. i know this is a hotel for short stay but isnt the goal of every hotel to have people converging no matter what?

This is a wonderful hotel in Leon! The staff welcomed us so well and spoke impeccable English too. They were so helpful and could not do enough to make us comfortable. The room was amazing. It was large, very clean and well equipped. The coffee machine was great and the hand made chocolates were a welcome addition too. The bathroom was amazingly spacious as was the walk in shower! There were plenty of towels, bath robes and slippers. I would want to come back again! There breakfast was brilliant and the pool area and gym looked great too.

It is an incredible place, of exceptional beauty. I had already met him before, however this weekend was the first time I stayed. After the reservation I read comments about the service (bordering on regular and bad) especially for the lack of hot water and uncomfortable beds, still decided to check it out for myself (and my friends) and I was fascinated. I will definitely return there. Neither my friends nor I had problems with the hot water in our rooms, or the lack of bath towels or dirty bath towels as I read in the comments, all rooms were clean, the only problem in the rooms that touched me, was the telephone that did not serve to call the reception, as for the food, well because the buffet although it is not so varied, is good and accessible price. The restaurant has an excellent view of the city, the chef and all the people who serve you are very friendly, without a doubt, a place to return.

I was wrong as inside of this spacious hotel it´s been absolutely quiet. A great garden with an absolutely clean pool just offered me a holiday feeling. The romos were equipped very well (fridge and microwave) and with a view into the garden towards the pool. Friendly and competent staff was always willing to give any quest a hand. and for sure I´ll be back pretty soon.

Breakfast is the same every day, bread slices, cereals, milk, orange juice, etc. Western food, there is a free parking lot, next to a highway, it is very convenient to rent a car to stroll around.

I was really surprised about this great hotel. Located in the center of León I expected to face some disturbancies due to the traffic. I found my room to be clean, large and very quiet, just the right combination for a good night sleep. Breakfast was included and it was well-stocked with juice (green and orange), plenty of fruit (truly large trays), yogurt, cereal, chilaquiles, beans, etc., and dinners were quite satisfactory too (I tried arrachera, guacamole, chicken soup, salmon, house wine)..........but the best part was the outstanding service-oriented attitude of Susy and Sophie in the lobby, Claudia and Sophie (another Sophie) in the bar and Paula and Jorge in the dining area. I found them personable, efficient and willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests were well-taken care of in said areas (lobby, bar, dining).......this must be one of the best kept secrets in Leon........I am sure the rest of the employees in this hotel are also superb individuales, but I can only mention the ones I interacted with........my deep appreciation to those excellent employees..................

The design of the room is good, the area is relatively large, there is a Japanese restaurant opposite, close to the exhibition. It takes dozens of kilometers to go to the downtown area of Leon. There are some ancient buildings in the city, it is worth seeing.

A very beautiful hotel with a very small door opening. It is a little inconvenient to park in a narrow road at the entrance, but it is still possible to quickly drop off your luggage. The name Art Hotel is not an exaggeration. It has an artistic atmosphere, and many places are beautifully photographed. The view is also first-rate, the small courtyard outside this twin room can see the colorful houses of Guanajuato, which are very good during the day and night. The geographical position is superior, just in the small town, quiet in the middle of noisy, a few minutes walk to the most lively central area and various attractions.

This hotel had such an awesome location! It was right next to the theater! Add to that that it was a historic hotel with charming rooms everywhere, and I was absolutely delighted to stay there. There is a brick in the ceilings and they were arched and it was everything good. However, my room had no outside window. even when I went into it for the first time, it smelled like a bathroom. If I didn’t leave the bathroom door completely closed, it absolutely stunk up the entire room. There’s no fan in the bathroom, and nowhere for air to circulate, I don’t know if there’s sewer odours coming up from shower drain or what happened, but I was gagging brushing my teeth. In addition, there was a window, but it connected to someone else’s bathroom(didn’t open). They left the bathroom light on all night, so I had a lit window all night. I just didn’t want to hang out in the room. And I found myself hanging out in their lounge areas, which is awesome that they had so many. I don’t really know what to say, because if I could stay in a room that had ventilation, I definitely would stay here again. However I would never want to stay in the room I was in again.

We have been hosting Hotels Indigo in several cities, such as London, Madrid and Paris, they are always very good, but the most beautiful and best of all is the one of Guanajuato. The location is excellent, very easy to access and practically in the centre, you can reach walking to many important sites of Guanajuato. A huge advantage is that you have a parking right there, you get the car to a very fast one and whenever we asked you to go out, they took it immediately. From the entrance to the parking, everything is beautiful, there are beautiful details and very good taste everywhere. Spent 1 night here on a brief tour of San Miguel de Allende. The hotel was nice, rooms seemed newly done so everything was very nice. Had an ok dinner at the restaurant and a shot of Cristilano Tequila which was amazing. The lobby had a small game room with a pool table, fooz ball table, and the open restaurant lobby area had tons of places to sit and hang out. Huge pool as well. We walked to the nearby Mercaod Sano on Saturday morning and have a lovely breakfast and enjoyed some live music and market - cash only.

I wanted to like this place more than I did. It has old-world charm, with the dark wood, the talavera tile and the boveda ceilings. It’s very reasonably priced, too, but you get what you pay for in a lot of ways here. Not a lot of room amenities— no mini fridge or microwave which, to be fair, is relatively rare in Mexico. But the stocked soaps and things were so cheap— like Dollar-Store cheap— they hardly lathered up. I couldn’t quite get a handle on the hours of the little convenience shop either which seemed never to be open, so no buying our own. I might have been able to overlook that stuff if the ladies at the front desk weren’t so rude. At one point during our stay, I thought I lost my key. When I went to ask for another, the two clerks literally rolled their eyes at one another before proceeding to take an inordinate amount of time contacting whomever they needed to contact to come program another key. They hardly addressed me and let me know pretty late in the process that I would have to pay for the replacement… in cash. I couldn’t just add the charge to the card on file for the room. So analog. Likewise, later when it was time to leave, one of those same clerks simply glared at me when I approached to let her know we were checking out. It wasn’t until my husband showed up behind me that she actually addressed me, saying everything was all set. She even smiled. I couldn’t help laughing at the absurdity of the abrupt change in her demeanor. I’m not sure if I did something to offend her or if she’s just a hateful person, but she’s definitely one reason we will be staying elsewhere the next time we’re in town.
