Booked here for quick stop after our Penang trip. There was a convention going on so lots of people and cars when we drove in. The indoor car park was very tight and limited to one floor only. Even the outdoor parking was full, so we had to settle for roadside parking temporarily. Check-in was efficient. While the hotel room was already paid via Trip.com, the reception took a RM50 refundable deposit for incidentals – the other hotels that we booked for this trip did not hold any deposit. The room was large, lighting well placed, and AC was strong, but both beds had a horrible smell. Had to call reception to change all the sheets, which was done relatively fast. Not much to eat around there, so we drove out for dinner and came back to less congested parking. The security guard was helpful to get us a parking bay outdoors because our large vehicle was challenged with the tight basement parking. Breakfast option was actually a good spread. But disappointingly the food and coffee were not kept hot; at best lukewarm. Even the soft-boiled eggs were not done properly. Overall, a nice hotel with good service staff, marred by bad smelling sheets, limited parking and cold food/coffee.

Few picture taken by us and family especially at one of the art with Harimau design wall. Enter the room with neat bed made up and clean environment. Warm and cozy design with black wall but brighten by light in the room. Entire one night stay was not enough will definitely came again for the next visit to Ipoh. Thanks Christin and Team.

Strategically located hotel, with access to the mall. The cultural sites are a short drive away. Ipoh is not really a pedestrian friendly city. Lovely roof top pool and bar. Friendly staff with professional concierge. Room was lovely, was given a corner room with a small side window, fortunately I was able to change it to a regular room with window. Bed and pillows were firm and super comfortable, was able to sleep well! Lovely bath tub, and bathroom. Breakfast was sufficient and dinner offers were really well priced and delicious.

Upon check-in around 2.30pm the staff is trying his best to allocate the room and after 25 minutes he managed. We park our car outside on the street road infront of hotel. The room was clean and comfortable (housekeeping done a Good Job!). In the evenings around 4pm we went out to had our late lunch and stop by FO counter and inform staff ( 1 girl staff ) get the Engineering staff to check my bathroom shower water pressure is so slow. When we reach our car I have caught to a surprise that I have been summoned by MBI !! ( I do not encounter that the FO staff told me to park inside as I only many cars parked outside and assumed we park outside!! When we came back around 5.30pm and I asked her if the water pressure has been done?.. she answered ( oh must do now ke) means this is not done! The next morning breakfast was So/So!! Salad Bar was terrible ( lettuce is not fresh - omelette only prepared with onions - cheese - mushroom) should the Chef consider to also have few others choices like capsicum (3 different )- spring onion. Nasi Lemak ( Ikan Bilis is so tough - I believe that Ipoh is near to setiawan where can get good anchovies). Outside at Veranda- the blind is just at the food counter side and how about the tables for guests? We left open without blinds and open to the sun and few guests run inside course of hot sun and they are with small kids. Coffee machine was Off at 10.am and breakfast over at 10.30am.. Overall- the Head Chef should check the Food Standard & Quality! This is important for the hotel reputations. Why we stayed at Impiana Hotel Ipoh?? Because it is only few Good Hotel in Ipoh and should be the same Standard as Impiana KLCC. Please look into this and we may visit again in July for few nights. Sincerely Thank You.

The hotel environment is very pleasant and spacious, offering good views. It's also conveniently located for reaching other places. The availability of amenities like a washing machine and dryer made it easy for us to keep clean during our trip. The Dyson hairdryer was excellent. It would have been even better if there were USB or Type-C chargers available. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. Thank you!

I had a wonderful stay at TAMBUN LOST WORLD HOTEL. The hotel is beautiful with elegant design and stunning landscaping. The rooms are very comfortable, equipped with modern amenities and cozy furnishings. The cleanliness is exceptional, with every corner of the hotel meticulously maintained. The customer service is outstanding; the staff is friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. The food is also delicious, especially the curry mee. Additionally, the hotel provides free tickets to the hot spring and night park, which was a fantastic bonus. Overall, TAMBUN LOST WORLD HOTEL is the perfect place to stay for those seeking comfort, cleanliness, and top-notch service. I will definitely be returning.

She is a wonderful and friendly person to be liased with. Each and every message she responded in a quickest way made me so convenient to converse with her. Regarding buffet management we are much satisfied with all the preparations made table arrangements as per requested, fresh seafoods, all the chef and staff members in Gayam were wonderful people and had never failed to serve us with their smiling faces especially Mr Amir yusof. Room check in, We felt much appreciated with your warmth welcome approaches made by Ms Sunitha and Mr Vikneswaran. Ms Sunitha had given a chance to us to check in much earlier than your resort's fixed time. Overally we were stunned with all your staff and services. I am really sorry if i left out anyone to be thanked here. I am much grateful with you Ms Sunitha without you i personally think that this event would not be successful.

i would say this hotel has so much potential to become a great hotel, from a mediocre hotel it is now. The location is perfect.. within the vicinity of the famous Taiping Lake Garden but towards Bukit Larut. Though it is bit out of the main road, it is still good reach by vehicles. Or if u stay without vehicle, u still can call for Grab for food. etc. I saw an archery field at the back of the hotel. And i know, nearly there is a waterfall area. In front of this property, there is another equally interesting looking accommodation called Kamal Lodge that i can clearly see from my room Room 204. My room, though a Standard Room, was adequately furnished, though the aircond was OK OK only prolly because they use 1hp aircond, for a relatively big room. The towel though clean, was already old and time to change it. Breakfast was additional RM25 though i didnt take it, but i saw the restaurant was big and welcoming. The lobby i thnk, can be further improved. Prolly, u guys can provide bicycle renting service etc to the guest. Maybe they have, i didnt asked. I just wish the lobby and the lift have more soft touch to make the guest more..welcomed? But the lobby staffs were courteous and friendly and accommodating as i need to borrow their phone charger for a while. some newer hotel stayed already have the USB plug in the room though. anyway, i still want to recommend this place for families..as their pool look interesting for kids..though the water looked bit murky. and the big room of course. But ya i want to come back in the future to check on their progress!

The hotel is in the heart of Taiping, good location, many restaurants and walking distance to beautiful places, also close to a park and a night safari zoo. The room is clean, but we didn't like the water bottles, I recommend buying water at the store. Free parking is a big plus when traveling by car. 酒店位于太平的中心，位置好，有很多餐馆，步行可以到达美丽的地方，也靠近公园和夜间野生动物园。 房间很干净，但我们不喜欢水瓶，我建议在超市买水。 开车旅行时，免费停车是一大优势。

When we checked in, we were also provided with a ticket to redeem tea during 4pm-6pm, the selection was just sandwiches and corn Kueh. The hotel also provided a RM10 discount voucher to use on their in-house cafe. Breakfast boasts a good variety of foods.

We are staying at 207 family suite. While out from lift at 2nd floor was no aircon on the public area. The room shower room the hole for water release was slow. And socket was not enough for staying for 3 persons

The hotel is quite new. Friendly reception and clean hotel. They do not have in-house restaurant, but they flanked by two nice cafe, a kopitiam style cafe and a fine dining restaurant. Room were very clean. Love the fact that they provide bath robe. Nice interior design and decoration. An additional point is, they have a boutique located at the entrance. Those cotton clothes range from Japan and aromatherapy candle and essential oil must pay a visit to the boutique

Booked 2 rooms of different categories through trip.com. While checking in, the staff have asked if Tourism Tax has been paid. Checked my booking and these tax has been paid together with the room. He snapped a photo from the app on my phone. While checking out (we stayed there for 4nights btw), 2 other staff asked us the same question. Do they not have records that these has been paid through third party websites? One of their staffs by the name of Raja Hanis have asked to see the tourism tax invoice, which I found through my email confirmation and have asked me (the hotel guest) to send it her! She said to take her number! Not sure what their SOPs are like.. Especially when the check in staff have confirmed these things at the beginning of our stay. What has left me speechless was that while checking out, i was demanded by their that lady (Raja Hanis) to send it to her personal mobile number. Bad reflection of their service. Otherwise, hotel is strategically located. Amenities are ok. Housekeeping did a great job.

We stayed here one night with a tour group. Room and bed were clean and cosy. There is a swimming pool and reading room but we had no chance to use them. Breakfast was decent with a noodle counter. Salad was available. Porridge was not hot - it could be due to the electricity of the pot was not switched on.

My husband and I chose to have our honeymoon at Pangkor Laut Resort two days after our wedding, and it was the best trip of our lives so far. We had a good first impression of the resort even before we reached the resort. We had arranged in advance for land transfer from Ipoh airport to Marina Island Pangkor, and we thought to have the driver pick us up at 10am even though our flight landed at 8.30am (just in case we faced delays with our flight or at immigration) but we were surprised when he was already waiting for us when we landed at 8.30am. After a 1.5h road trip from the airport to the office, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and towel, and was then escorted to PLR on a speedboat with one other couple (which made us feel special, haha). Upon arrival at the resort, we were again welcomed with a little refreshment and had a staff attend to us immediately, helping us to plan our itinerary for the rest of the week that we were staying there. As we were still early and the rooms were not ready, we had lunch at the Feast Village and then rested in the library, which was very cosy with a good selection of books (only downside was there were so many house lizards, though I am not sure if anything could be done to prevent them from coming). Our room at the Garden Villa was wide and spacious, and we received a congratulatory drink from the resort to celebrate our wedding as well. (It was a nice gesture, but nothing could compare to the attentiveness of the different staff we met over the week, who, upon noticing the henna stains on our hands, congratulated us warmly in person). We also loved that the Garden Villa was so near to the Feast Village and Uncle Lim's Kitchen, which we kept going back to for breakfasts, lunches and dinners, as the food options across the two kitchens were varied and more importantly, delicious. The service at the kitchens were also amazing - Chef Liza was so friendly and approachable that she made us feel at home, and Masum and Nadim went out of their way to make each dining experience feel special for us (such as seating us at places where we would have unobstructed views of the beach, and offering to take photos of us without us even thinking of it). Other experiences we had at the resort were going for the jungle walk, swimming at Emerald Bay and having lunch at Chapman's Bar, and yoga. However, our favourite activity on the resort was going for the spa experience. It was so refreshing and phenomenal, and truly, no other spa can beat PLR's spa. We were pampered from head to toe, and the different bath experiences set the spa apart from other spas out there. The staff were also so knowledgeable and generous with sharing what they know, that both my husband and I learnt so much about the natural ingredients used in our sessions. Definitely made the experience more meaningful and personal for us, and after a hectic wedding weekend, the spa made us feel well rested and rejuvenated. We also got a free room upgrad

We have just completed a 6 night stay at this lovely hotel and can thoroughly recommend it. We were allocated room 62 which was everything we wanted, very spacious with a big bed and a strong warm shower. It also had a front facing balcony with a sea view. A big than you to the cleaner who serviced our room very well, it was always immaculately clean and smelled very nice. The breakfast choice was just right, a egg station was available for choice of eggs, there was also a noodle station and my favourite...Roti Canai. The staff in the dining room were quick to clear tables and all the food tasted nice, so thank you to the chefs and the staff. The reception staff were always available and very pleasant, it was also good to have a permanent security guard at the front of the hotel, he was always smiling and helpful, a very nice man. Thank you for your assistance with our luggage and helping us park our motor cycle etc. The hotel also has a very nice swimming pool and loungers, with towels available. So really it ticks all the boxes for a great stay and the nightly price rates are very reasonable. I can highly recommend this hotel.

The building is old; maintained a bit less than adequately. You may have to call reception to get some things fixed (lights, bath, etc.). I upgraded my room from city & sea view to pool & sea view - its worth the RM30. Amenities is great - pool is near to the beach. If you bring your kids, let them play at the beach but no swimming as it is too close to the jetty. You can always swim at the pool. Breakfast is good. Malaysian breakfast mostly and those are cooked to almost perfection. Staff and service is fantastic.

Pros: Clean, comfortable beds & pillows, white towels quite thick for a budget hotel, strong water pressure, reliable hot water, quiet surrounding, has a good drinking water machine where we can refill our tumblers. Has a clothes line in the bathroom. Room door uses sensor key. Can control room air cond temperature. Cons: When someone in the next room showers, the noise of the water is very loud. Shower area not separated from toilet area so the floor gets wet but luckily the bathroom is large so there is still a small area that does not get wet. No lift. Only street parking where you have to pay. Security not good enough. Anyone can enter & go up to the rooms. The receptionist won't know unless they stand up as they sit behind a high counter.

The location wise is very strategic, near food place. The staff is very friendly and the accommodations is value for the price paid. Very comfortable to rest with family and the space is spacious too. The design of the room and landscape of the hotel is simple but yet elegant! A pleasant stay!

This hotel is far away from Lumut or Pantai Remis, if you just to escape fron your busy life and enjoy the activities in the hotel, then this is a good choice. The room is big and quite completed with all the amenities like kitchen, induction cooker, fridge, dining table, sofa bed. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the only downside is the tv is not functioning well. You can walked one km to the beach and enjoy the sea side view. Overall , it is a nice place for you relax.

In Seri Manjung, this is one of the best value hotel. Package comes with breakfast for for for family room and breakfast for two for Executive Suite. Buffet spread is ok with lesser options if comparing tot he other higher class hotel. Hotel provides ample parking spaces. Aircond is the split version and the sizing is adequate for the room. Shower water pressure is good and the hot water is sufficient. Hotel provides with toothbrush and amenities smell good. What else? Lastly, freezer default mode is Switch Off. You need to turn on by yourself. No iron and iron board provided in the room.
