"The hotel is close to the Royal Palace and not far where the airport train stops. So, it’s easy to reach anything in the city. The room is not bad, small bathroom. I was surprised the hotel doesn’t provide bath floor towels for when you step out of shower. Also only one roll of toilet paper. You need to scan QR code in order to book cleaning for next day. The breakfast buffet not bad, and it’s surprising to see avocados. Also need to mention, if you want to sleep early you might be bothered by tram outside the hotel, the whole hotel is shaking when it passes by. But they stop around 11 pm. The staff were polite and nice."

Hotel Verdandi Oslo opened in September 2018 and is a 3,5-star hotel with a total of 170 rooms, including two different standard rooms (Comfort and Plus), Superior rooms and spacious Deluxe rooms with upgraded furniture and all imaginable equipment.
The building was built in 1994 and clearly represents its tight lines and powerful columns, which in the early 1990s were referred to as modernist architecture.
The street has got its name after Vice Admiral Peter Wessel Tordenskiold, who lived from 1690 to 1720.
You will find us in the heart of Oslo City Centre, about 200 yards from the Parliament, and 800 yards from Akershus Festning (Akershus Fortress). The hotel is modernized and furnished by our eminent interior designers at Room2Room, and has a consistently modern and delicate interior, with clear roots for our Nordic heritage.
The hotel has got its name after the Old Norse word «Verdandi», which means «present time/beginning». The name and the meaning are chosen so that our employees, management and guests will never forget how important the present is, and that our future is always influenced by how we manage our present.
The name Verdandi was originally written in the Old Norse language, and for that reason, you will find the letter ð written in capital letters (Ð) in the hotel logo.
"The location is excellent, within walking distance of various attractions. City Hall is a two-minute walk away; Pipervika, the Oslo Fjord pier, is just a few steps left from the hotel; Akershus Fortress; the National Theatre, the Royal Palace, the Main Sculpture Park...
The room was small but comfortable, and hot water was available from the coffee machine near the front desk. The front desk service was excellent. Check-in was not until 3:00 PM, so I left my luggage and went out to explore. Overall, it was a great value."

SSL Ng VictorBook this comfort hotel for proximity to central station yet far enough to be away from pedestrians. Near tram and bus stations as well that can bring you all over town. Walking distance to Munch Museum, Bjorvika broadwalk all the way to Akershus Fortress and Castle. Breakfast was GOOD. Same stuff everyday but variety enough to try different things for 3 days.

GGuest UserLocation is convenient, about 10 mins walk from Oslo S. although it is in the direction nearer to the office buildings and away from the attractions.
Breakfast spread is amazing and tastes good. Room and bathroom are spacious, bed is soft and comfortable.
The only drawback is the amenities. There is no toothbrush provided, and I find the shampoo, conditioner, and hand wash a little too mild / diluted, would have preferred it to be thicker and foamier. Body soap is ok.

BBianca HengNo regrets choosing this hotel for stockholm. The view right outside the hotel is breathtaking! We were greeted by this spectacular scenery every morning. Wished we could stay more days here. My family room was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was good. All in all, my family had a good time here. One thing to take note, it would be so more easier if you drive as the hotel is located uphill. Though the metro is just nearby, it is going to be difficult i.with a luggage.

GGuest UserTruly one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well accommodated and comfortable throughout. When we arrived at the hotel it was 11AM, so I mentioned to the front desk staff that I know it was far too early for us to receive our room (check in is typically at 3PM) and that we would like to simply drop off our bags. Without any special requests, the front desk staff immediately prepared our room keys of us to check in right away, which was hugely appreciated since we had caught a very early morning flight in. We loved the room. It was very comfortable for the 3 of us, although a bit tight but that's what we expected for hotel rooms in Europe. The bathroom was well fitted and had all the basic toiletries required (shampoo, body wash, hand soap), however we hoped to have body lotion as well, so we asked housekeeping whether any was available and they immediately brought 3 LARGE bottles for each of us to use. I have never seen such massive toiletries and in such generous quantities supplied at any hotel before, which again made us feel very well taken care of. Finally on our check out day our flight was not until 6PM and since checkout is typically at 11AM I requested for just a 1 hr extension. Although they were very busy for it being the beginning of summer holidays, without any hesitation the front desk staff extended our checkout time to 3PM. I was once again very pleasantly surprised and appreciative. My last note is to touch on the complimentary tea and coffee always available in the lobby, as well as the fabulous buffet breakfast they served. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

MMTartHWe were staying in Oslo for just a night so picking a hotel near the Oslo station was our main priority. Radisson Blu was just a five minute walk from the station which is really convenient. There was a supermarket (Coop) along the way which was really good for picking up drinks or snacks (price was reasonable, but didn’t open on Sundays like most supermarkets).
Room was big and could easily open two suitcases. Towels were given but no toothbrushes nor slippers which didn’t affect us as we brought our own.

Lounge and bar made socialising quite a comfortable experience and I very much appreciated the extremely very buffet breakfast with plenty of healthy options and tasty treats. Would book a stay again in a flash!

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are pretty good, quite spacious for Norway. The location isn't particularly convenient though; there are many hotels closer to the train station that are also cheaper. Having two meals included definitely saves money, but unfortunately, dinner was really bad and breakfast wasn't very varied either.

GGuest UserThe room is way much smaller than I expect unless you don't have many baggage. However, the room is clean and water flow comes from the faucet and hand shower are quite strong and warm. The room is super quite and the there are a variety of food and diversify drink and coffee for breakfast you can select. The hotel location is near downtown of Oslo for 3 mins walk. It's so convenient to buy everything you want in Oslo.
