The main reason to go to Invercargill is to check in at the world's southernmost Starbucks. Etc. The hotel parking lot is in the public parking lot diagonally opposite. You need to register your license plate at the front desk before you can park, but it is free. There is a shopping mall in Invercargill and the world's southernmost Starbucks near the hotel. There is also a Queen's Park to visit. The town is not big and not crowded and very quiet.
Very nice hotel restaurant. Very good experience, 5 points. The price is relatively affordable. There is nothing to eat nearby, but it is very quiet. The environment is very high. Next time you have the opportunity to stay again!
Very very nice B&B, the owner is madly nice and the land is very large.
The breakfast is small, nothing special, but sufficient (toast, marmelade, musli, coffee).
What I personally do not think so good is that there are very many animals on the land, such as dogs, alpakas and a pet, and there is no prior information about it. For many, this is surprising, but as an allergic, I had to fight very much with the smell of the animals. A information in the hotel description would simply have been nice.
It's a small bungalow, run by Chinese. Check in at the front desk of glowworm restaurant. The restaurant said that the chef is from Intercontinental Hotel, but it's really expensive to eat Chinese food in NZ... You can park your car in front of the room. The bed is big and soft, but the room is a bit dark. Mid-March is the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. It's a bit cold at night, so I have to keep the air conditioner on.
Top location in front of the Te Anau lake and 1,5 -2 hours drive to Milford Sound. There are plenty of trails and other activities nearby. Includes a good Jimmy Cook restaurant with local cuisine and outstanding view to the lake & mountains! Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and comfortable rooms, a bit outdated. But overall a good stay

Was priced very cheap - room clean but very dated , camp kitchen needed a good scrubbing, broken amenities and no washing machine working - BUT hospitality was great and restaurant attached gave us one of the nicest and cheapest meals we had - took some famous sausages to cook away with us.
We were in hostel so was cheapest accommodation they had - 4 people room was only $100
I thought it would be a lakefront room, but it turned out to be a garden view room. The room was quite large and fully equipped. The kitchen had a microwave and a refrigerator, as well as a kettle. The breakfast was OK, it was Western style, with freshly fried eggs. The city is small, so I don't recommend staying longer.
The hotel and night tour are worth experiencing.
Very professional, very good feeling.
I hope to have the opportunity to stay in other products of his family in the future.
A place to deeply understand the local society.
Breakfast is made by the host and the couple themselves, a very warm and kind old couple. You can learn a lot of local attractions and practice English by the way. The room decoration is artistic, clean and hygienic, and there are towels and shower cap hairdryer in the bathroom. But because it is a homestay, you can't cook by yourself.

SSwallow_SunThe hotel is very new and the rooms are quite standard. The Indian lady at the front desk was very casual. She said she would change the milk bottle and record the room number. No one was there in the middle of the night. Ctrip was very helpful and handled it immediately after communication. It is very close to the Fisheries Bureau. You can go to Bluff to try to get an abalone knife. The wind and waves were too strong that day and I couldn't catch it. But remember to return the abalone knife to the Fisheries Bureau.
