Hotels With Bar in Wellington, New Zealand

The room is located in a renovated old street, with a very bold use of color. It's the most 'Cuban-colored' hotel on Cuban Street. Very distinctive. All the toiletries are New Zealand's Antipodes brand, known for being fragrance-free, dye-free, and natural. The breakfast juice is also from the New Zealand national juice brand, Home... It's great overall. I'll definitely come again. It's great for photos. Each floor has a different color scheme. The room might not have been occupied for a while, as the cups and hairdryer were a bit dusty. However, for this price point, it's totally acceptable. No complaints.

The Angus Inn is ideally situated. It's directly opposite the Queensgate Mall and only a few minutes walk from the Lower Hutt Bowling Club where we were attending a function. The Inn has all the facilities that you need such as a laundry and a restaurant. The booking went like clockwork with no hassles. An enjoyable stay.

I wanted to stay somewhere close to public transport. The main train station is just a stone’s throw away. It is near the end of Lambton Quay- the main drag in Wellington. Also for my friends who live in the outer suburbs of Wellington this hotel is close to the freeway and an easy access to collect me. The room is really clean and spacious and there is a kitchenette with stove and microwave to heat up/cook food. The bathroom is huge and has an accessible shower which is quite impressive.

We just stayed for a night. Value for money and superb location. Shops and F&B are just around the area. Easy check-in and check out. Highly recommended for short stay.

Had a great visit to Wellington. Enjoyed the hotel and the service was excellent. As with most Hotels we have stayed at recently they are a bit dated. Room was very clean, room service was good and the bathroom was excellent and looked to have been renovated in recent years. All in all very happy with our stay.

We had 1 night stay. Good facilities, like pool, Spa, Restaurant, however a few things need to improve to reach 4 star, like stated. Our room was clean and tidy but some lights up in the ceiling were out, basin in the bathroom was very cracked. We had dinner at the restaurant. I ordered pizza, where the dough was slightly undercooked, no crisp, sloppy. Filter coffee at breakfast, that was included had a colour of weak tea. But you were offered to pay extra for a coffee on top of $30, you already paid for a buffet breakfast. Previously stayed here before, but I think it needs a lot of improvements as it's gone down quite a bit.

We arrived early at the hotel , the staff were very friendly and checked us in early which was great! It is perfect location for flights as the hotel is actually in the airport, lift straight to check in and departure lounge. There is a shuttle bus that goes from airport to Wellington station and stops at locations in between for museum etc. Stayed here a couple of times now and would definitely recommend.

The room is very tidy and big, even there is no parking available but the staff showed me a free space along the road to park overnight. There is even washing machine which surprised me and it was working well. The breakfast is good but price is 35 nzd not 19 mentioned in the trip site. I booked the room reading others' comment about the breakfast but to be honest the types of food is not so much and didnt meet my expectations.

My daughter and I stayed for four nights during our five-day trip to Wellington, and the hotel met all my expectations. First, its central location is incredibly convenient, right across from the Old Bank. There's a bus stop downstairs, making it easy to get to the airport and train station, and most attractions are within walking distance. Second, it was clean, spacious, and quiet. Being on the 21st floor, the air and sunlight were lovely, and we slept very well. Third, the room was equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and basic tableware, allowing us to prepare simple meals. All in all, I highly recommend it.

Nice size room. Some plugs are not working and cannot get fixed during our stay. Staff responded quickly and offered to change room but we didn't accept as we don't want to repack our luggage. Provided an extensioon cord. TV was not working intermittly and seemed to be a common occurrence. Seems like all problems are electrically related. Staffs are very nice and respond very quickly.
