It was great. I requested them to prepare something nice as I was traveling with my wife. The hotel staff were kind enough to arrange it. Overall great facility, walking distance from the bus stop other public transportation facilities.

Overall I have not so good impression on the total but the location was a bit tricky if you’re coming via Metro, it’s located far from metro station and can’t walk! The room is quite small, no toothbrushes and toothpaste, there’s no any bathrobe, WiFi is slow even it’s 5 star hotel. Window view was awkward and looks to the grey wall of the neighbouring building. Breakfast was not like 5star hotels, just 2-3 hot dishes. When I was eating a waiter took my plate with cheese and olives and threw it in the trash bin🤣 I told I’m still eating and he replies oh sorry and didn’t replace the plate 😂

My flight has been cancelled, so I had to stop in Istanbul for one night. This hotel is easy to reach from Sabiha airport - only 5 minutes by walking, I could see it from my window. The rooms are spacious and perfectly clean. The restaurant offers a nice menu at convenient prices, I really enjoyed their halloumi salad. The breakfast is rich, you can find everything you want. The staff is helpful and friendly. The stress caused by the flight cancellation was easy to live in such a nice place. Highly recommended!

The hotel was wonderful. The staff from reception to the pool/restaurant were friendly and very welcoming. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious with a beautiful view of the pool. The atmosphere of the hotel was beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. A special thanks to Mr. Aziz and Mr. Taylan at the reception who was not only very friendly but also very hospitable. Also, a special thanks to the Indonesian maids who cleaned the room every day with the utmost courtesy and respect. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Ramada Encore by Wyndham Istanbul Sisli. The hotel offers a modern and welcoming atmosphere, with clean and well-maintained rooms that provide a relaxing space to unwind. The location is quite convenient, making it easy to explore the city, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Their professionalism and attentiveness added to the overall positive experience. The amenities were good, and the hotel had everything needed for a comfortable stay. While there are areas that could be enhanced, the overall service and ambiance made for a pleasant visit. I would consider staying here again in the future.

Great location, many restaurants and coffee places nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed by the lady at the breakfast buffet for her help and kindness. However, my room had a couple of issues that need to be fixed. When I first went in, I kept hearing some beeping noise, which came from the motion detector, so had to have a technician come in to switch it off. Then in the bathroom, I didn't have hot water in the sink for the first day, and then on the second day only hot water and then the next day no hot water.... The left faucet was impossible to turn. Apart from the room itself, was overall satisfied of the building and other facilities.

GGuest UserIts location was super convenient for the exhibition I was attending. However, there weren't many hot food options available. On the bright side, if you're watching your diet, working out, or trying to lose weight, they offer a good selection of proteins, vegetables, and fruits.

IIrinaThe personal in hotel nice and friendly. The room was okey , a bit small but quiet. The location was a bit complicated for us. As we had 1 year old baby and my mom with painful knee it was really hard to walk all that up and down every day from the hotel to the main locations in old city . And somehow even taxi couldn’t come to the hotel, explaining that some roads are closed. My poor mom should walk up a lot just to return to the hotel. For us as a family we were thinking that it will be easier to stay in old city and easier to go to all locations but honestly it was not good decision. The hotels in that area very expensive and just not worthy. So much ups and down. But if you don’t have with you small kids and old people the place can be very good for you . From the top of the hotel you can see a beautiful view. And breakfasts very good as well .

GGuest UserCrowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City: Refined Comfort and Remarkable Service (Room 3219) As someone who travels frequently for both professional and personal reasons, often staying in dozens of hotels across different countries each year, I’m not easily impressed. Yet, my recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City genuinely stood out. It’s a property that masterfully combines thoughtful design, polished service, and a location that captures the very essence of Istanbul’s history and rhythm. An Experience Worth Remembering Location & Access Situated in the heart of the city’s historic core, this hotel makes exploration effortless. From here, it’s just a short walk to the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, and several key transport links. The setting feels authentic and lively; ideal for guests who want proximity without sacrificing comfort. Room 3219 – Exceptional Comfort The room offered a superb balance of functionality and elegance. It was impeccably clean, featuring plush bedding, perfect lighting for reading or work, and a surprisingly quiet HVAC system, a rarity in city hotels. Small details, like the scent of fresh linen and a spotless bathroom, reinforced the sense of care behind the housekeeping standards. Service & Staff The staff are the heartbeat of this property. Every interaction, from check-in to checkout, reflected professionalism anchored in genuine warmth. They anticipated needs before being asked, making the experience feel personal rather than procedural. This consistency across teams’ front desk, dining, and housekeeping speaks volumes about the culture of service within the hotel. Dining Experience Breakfast was both indulgent and efficient. The buffet selection was diverse, featuring beautifully presented dishes that catered to both international and local palates. The staff handled the morning rush with grace and precision, maintaining quality and attentiveness without any sense of haste. Facilities & Ambience Public areas were spotless and aesthetically cohesive. The fitness and spa areas were well-maintained, creating a serene environment ideal for unwinding after long days in the city. The lounge and lobby were comfortable enough to double as workspaces, a feature that frequent travelers will appreciate. The One Minor Quirk I noticed some early-morning noise, mostly the seagulls, a distant metro vibration, and a faint scratchy sound around 6 a.m. While this didn’t detract from the overall stay, it’s worth noting for lighter sleepers. It’s a subtle reminder that even in the most refined settings, Istanbul’s energy has its own morning rhythm. Final Thoughts What defines the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City isn’t just its luxury—it’s the consistency of experience. Every aspect feels considered and intentional. Having stayed at countless hotels across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, it’s rare to find one that strikes this balance of local charm and international polish. I often recommend property to colleagues who travel as frequently as I do, and this one has already made it to the top of that list. It leaves one wondering: how might the experience differ in another season, on a higher floor, or in one of the suites overlooking the skyline? Would the same quiet elegance and seamless service hold up under different conditions? Those are questions I find myself curious to explore again, perhaps sooner than I planned.

NNimasherpaaOur recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton was nothing short of extraordinary, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share our experiences. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff set the tone for an unforgettable visit. The property itself is stunning, with a ambiance that’s both elegant and welcoming. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully appointed—everything you could want in a luxury hotel setting. What truly made our stay special, however, were the thoughtful touches provided by housekeeping. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, addressing our needs promptly and anticipate them before they arose. One of the standout features of our stay was how well The Ritz-Carlton catered to families—specifically for our young daughter. From the moment we checked in, we were impressed with the array of toys and activities available for children, which kept her entertained and happy throughout our visit. The kids playroom was excellent. We spent almost 1hrs playing there. It’s clear that the hotel prioritizes making family stays as enjoyable and seamless as possible, and we deeply appreciated their efforts. Our time at The Ritz-Carlton was a combination of luxury, comfort, and attentive service that made it feel like a true home away from home. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiThe Garner Hotel Istanbul - Airport Arnavutköy, part of the IHG portfolio, is a relatively new property designed for the modern mid-scale traveler. For the business guest, it excels as a highly convenient and functional stopover, prioritizing connectivity and efficiency over luxury. Location and Accessibility (4/5) The most defining feature of this hotel is its proximity to Istanbul Airport (IST), located approximately 14 km away in the lively Arnavutköy district. Pro: This is an ideal choice for short layovers, late arrivals, or early departures. The hotel offers flexible airport transfers (including private options) and is easily accessible via subway, bus, or taxi. Con: If your business meetings are located in central Istanbul (e.g., Taksim, Sultanahmet), the one-hour drive can be cumbersome. This is primarily a facility for airport-adjacent operations or transit. Work and Productivity Amenities (4/5) The hotel is purpose-built to ensure business travelers can remain productive during their stay. Wi-Fi & Workspace: Rooms are equipped with free, high-speed Wi-Fi and ergonomic workspaces. The modern design keeps the room clutter-free, providing a comfortable spot for focused work. In-Room Comfort: Rooms include air conditioning, soundproofing, and coffee/tea makers—essentials for a good night's rest and a quick start to the day. Dining and Convenience (3/5) While there are no extensive meeting facilities, the hotel provides practical solutions for food and quick needs: Breakfast: A fresh breakfast (continental, buffet, or à la carte options, including Halal) is available at the on-site restaurant. This is efficient for a quick meal before an early flight or meeting. 24/7 Access: The Garner Shop in the lobby offers continuous access to snacks and drinks, which is invaluable for travelers arriving or departing at odd hours. Local Area: Being located in Arnavutköy, there are local cafés, restaurants, and shops nearby for informal dining or quick errands. Verdict for the Business Traveler The Garner Hotel Istanbul - Airport Arnavutköy is an excellent, high-value choice for business travelers requiring a clean, comfortable, and productive base near Istanbul Airport. It is less suitable for travelers who need to commute daily to the city center. It delivers on its promise of an easy-going stay with reliable essentials like great Wi-Fi and a focused workspace. Best for: Transit, layovers, or meetings taking place near the IST airport vicinity. Look Elsewhere If: You require dedicated, large-scale conference facilities or daily access to the main historical/financial districts of Istanbul.

GGuest UserGreat appartments, wonderful facilities around the hotel compound. Found the cleaning staff in particular to be very helpful and friendly, specifically Sebahat and Nurgyl. When I noticed that the bedroom window was a little dusty they very cheerfully went and got everything needed to clean the windows there and then and they did it with a smile. Lovely to see and thank you!

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at this hotel and liked its location. Staff are friendly and helpful and we appreciated the daily room cleaning and reset. The best feature of the hotel is that it is well situated to explore Istanbul and is about a 10 minute walk to the Sultanahmet Square where you will find many of the main attractions in Istanbul like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. There is a tram line station very close to the hotel and it is a short walk to Sirkeci metro station. It was a good base for us as we checked out the areas across the water. It is a little far from both airports with each taking about 1.5 hours to get to but we felt the location was worth the time. The room's decor was a bit aged but charming. The beds were comfy and you can get extra pillows here. The room ran a bit warm during our stay but it was a bit noisy outside with frequent tram trains and restaurants below so we kept the window shut. They do have air conditioning and a radiator but we felt the AC wasn't worth turning on during a cool stay in December. Our neighbours were a bit noisy and it kept my wife up but I had no issues sleeping. It was moderately inconvenient when the restaurant decided to pop their new year's eve decorations at 1 in the morning. The bathroom was good and clean with good shower pressure, soft towels and we appreciated the warming rack for the towels. They provide soap and shampoo in dispensers in the shower. The breakfast was decent enough to start the day. They had enough to do a Turkish style breakfast and most options were pretty light. They had some hot items like sausage, scrambled eggs and other options that changed daily. They also had an area for cold items like cheese, labneh, yoghurt, vegetables and some cold cuts. They had a limited selection of fruit with some oranges and apples. They also had coffee, tea, juice and water. I had an early check out on my last day and they made me a nice bagged lunch to go to the airport with and have me a big can of juice which was very nice. The hotel provides bottled water for guests as well as lots of tea for in room use. The hotel has a restaurant on site and a small outdoor patio that is open for lunch, dinner and late dinner. They have some spa and massage treatments that you can book at the front desk. There are quite a few bath, restaurants, shops and other experiences nearby. People in the area are very friendly, welcoming and will invite you into their shop or restaurant...frequently.
