Hotels With bar in An Giang Province, Vietnam

I chose this hotel for a staycation, mainly because the swimming pool in the photos looked so appealing and it's connected to the beach, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. It's also conveniently located near Sonashia Night Market, making it easy to go back and forth using the hotel's shuttle bus or even a taxi without much hassle. I ended up visiting the market quite often. The breakfast was pretty good too; I even had two bowls of pho on my last day. I also ordered room service pizza without high expectations, but it was surprisingly delicious. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a relaxing getaway!

For our three nights in Phu Quoc, we chose to stay on the North Island. After looking at several hotels, we settled on this one. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service, which you can book in advance for airport pick-up, though there are specific pick-up times, and it's a large bus. The hotel has its own beach, a pool, and even a small amusement park. Our kids spent every day in the pool and at the beach, making these the most relaxing days of our Vietnam trip. The environment is excellent, and the service is on point. The twin room was very spacious. One thing to note is that there's an extra charge for children over 12, which we had to pay at the front desk upon arrival. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

NOT RECOMMENDED!! IF u expecting the visitor after 10pm. I was booking in room massage from legal/registered massage shop after long day outdoor activities. Upon my therapist arrived at 10:41pm and called me said that reception staffs NOT allowed guest enter guest room after 10pm and left. I had made a called to reception to informed them about my therapist is there but staff insisting NOT allowed visitor after 10pm then I asked again even my friend BUT still same result. (It's included family as long as they're not stay to their hotel then treated as VISITOR). I'm so upset and read the hotel policies from trip.com but totally no mentioned at all and even their ”Hotel Policy Board” located right infront the reception desk can't find this claused too (refer to attached photo). Also, I had talked to the staff and request them to show me the hotel policy but the staff just tried to searched from their computer and even get the security manager to approached me. Same result, no way for them to present me the hotel policies with this claused. One thing I must complimenting is their overall service is good and friendly staffs BUT NOT this Ridiculous policy which undisclosed to the public!! Anyway, please refer to below what hotel ”Guest Experience Manager” explained to me via email. ************* Dear Mr. Lee, Thank you for your prompt response. I fully understand your concerns, especially as your intention was simply to enjoy a relaxing in-room massage after a long day. To clarify, the restriction is our security and visitor-management policy, rather than a regulation that applies uniformly to every hotel in Phu Quoc, but this is the common hotel regulation in Vietnam, including Phu Quoc. The policy is intended to maintain the security, privacy of all guests, to ensure proper control of external persons accessing the hotel after hours and also to avoid ************ supporting to requirement from the government. Regarding friends or family members staying at another hotel, the same visitor procedure applies. If you have a visitor during the allowed time, you must pass by reception to register them to be a visitor and they must leave your room before 10PM. We acknowledge your point that this restriction was not clearly communicated to you. We understand how this could have caused confusion, and we sincerely apologize that this was not made clearer to you before or during your stay. We appreciate your feedback and will review how this policy is communicated to guests to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future. 👍🏻👍🏻 The service was acceptable, though staff lacked smiles. Breakfast was fine, and the location was good – only a 5-minute walk to the night market. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Check-out took a full 20 minutes; they checked everything so thoroughly, you'd think I was stealing something. On the morning of August 18, 2026, my fourth day there, it was raining heavily and the entire hotel experienced a power outage. Later that evening, around 9 PM local time, the power tripped twice more, plunging the whole hotel into darkness each time. Although power was restored within a minute for all three incidents, having it go out like that at night really gave me a fright. It would be terrifying if you're afraid of the dark, especially with the sound of the waves adding to it. Honestly, many shops on the street outside had power outages that day, but I never expected the hotel to be affected as well.

Eally do appreciate the hotels hospitality. Our son was sick, they send a caring nurse to give him some medicine. Also they provided the porridge that the nurse recommended and am very thoughtful. Hotel also provided shuttle services to airport, which is great. One last, but no least, i told the reception that on the first night and the next morning that upstairs were noisy. The next night, they called and ask us hows the noise level, and am ready to switch the room for us if necessary. I have not experience this kind of hospitality from a hotel for a long while..

The pool is beautiful, and the room is well worth the price. Breakfast is also good. Shuttling between the two hotel sections is very convenient as the hotel provides golf carts for transportation. The bubble party on Saturday evening was a lot of fun. Airport transfer was included, but the driver surprisingly stopped to refuel midway, which wasted a bit of time and could affect guests who need to catch a flight. It's a bit far from the city center, but calling a taxi is very cheap.

- Excellent and friendly service. - The complimentary buggy service for transfers was great. Even when the hotel couldn't arrange a buggy, they offered reimbursement for an external service, which was incredibly helpful and appreciated. - Very close to attractions, so it was easy to return to the hotel when tired or hot. - The fireworks felt incredibly close, almost overhead, and were very loud with strong echoes. - Breakfast offered matcha latte, but the selection was somewhat limited. - The tap water had noticeable sediment; bringing a water filter is recommended, though it seems other hotels on the island have similar issues. - The 30-minute spa experience in the evening was very relaxing (the oil had no scent and was a bit oily; I suggest more hot towel compresses). - There's a jacuzzi, but it's a bit far away.

Before my trip, I did extensive research and looked at countless hotels, including Marriott and Regent (which are good, of course). Many people commented that Vietnam has a lot of mosquitoes and poor hygiene, and that many hotels discriminate against or are unfriendly towards Chinese tourists. This made me quite uneasy. Among the many hotels, I prioritized cleanliness, hygiene, and warm, attentive service. I ultimately chose Anantara, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations – it's fantastic! It's clean, hygienic, and the staff are almost always smiling and provide enthusiastic service. As one guest review I saw put it, 'All the friendly people are at this hotel.' 😊 My child and I had a very comfortable stay. Although there aren't many entertainment facilities, it's quiet, and my child had a wonderful time in the private pool. I gave it a full five-star rating. Chinese travelers can choose this hotel with confidence! 👍 The hotel offers a shuttle service to the nearby night market and free airport pick-up (though it's a shared shuttle with other guests). For your itinerary, the best option while staying here is to book a boat trip. The hotel is centrally located, about a ten-minute drive from the airport. Everything was excellent. 🌴 Phu Quoc | This time, I stayed in a place that truly allows you to relax. On this trip to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, we stayed at the Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc. As a five-star resort, my first impression was: this place is truly beautiful. The hotel grounds are spacious and open. My favorite part was the enormous lagoon-style pool that runs through the entire resort; the water looked especially inviting under the sun. The hotel also has a private beach facing the ocean. Feeling the sea breeze in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, doing absolutely nothing, is already a treat. The room was equally satisfying. It was comfortable and spacious, with a large, cozy bed. What I loved most was the small kitchenette, which made it feel less like a 'just sleeping for one night and leaving' situation, even when staying for several days. Many people choose hotels hoping to be as close to the city center as possible. But for me, it's quite the opposite. This hotel is about ten kilometers from Duong Dong city center, approximately a 17-minute motorbike ride. Because this trip to Phu Quoc wasn't packed with activities, and I didn't have any must-visit spots on my list. The area where the hotel is located is relatively quiet, not as bustling as the city center. There's a Sonasea commercial area nearby, making it fairly convenient for dining or buying daily necessities. During the day, I would simply stroll around the hotel, take a dip in the pool, or enjoy the sea breeze by the beach. If I wanted to go out, I'd ride a motorbike at a leisurely pace. No rushing, no itinerary, and no specific tasks to accomplish. This is the kind of vacation I truly wanted. In the past, when traveling, I always thought, 'Since I'm here, I must go somewhere or see something.' Now, being able to find a comfortable place, sit quietly, and let my mind slow down is already wonderful. If you're like me – you love quiet, the seaside, and truly unwinding rather than rushing from one attraction to another every day – I would highly recommend the Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc. Five-star facilities, a sprawling pool, a private beach, comfortable rooms, plus a relatively serene resort atmosphere... Being close to the hustle and bustle isn't the only definition of convenience; sometimes, being a little further from the noise is what true vacation is all about. 🌊🌴 On this trip to Phu Quoc, my intention was simple: Slow down, even more. No need to rush anything, just enjoy the present moment. ❤️

The hygiene needs improvement. In the morning, before I went out for breakfast, I found a dead cockroach. I thought someone would clean it up later, so I didn't call the front desk. But when I came back after breakfast, it was still there. So, when I went out, I informed the front desk in the lobby about the dead cockroach and asked them to send someone to clean it up immediately. However, when I returned in the evening, it was still there and hadn't been cleaned. I had no choice but to use a tissue to pick it up myself.
