GGuest UserMy family of four with children has some business to do in Campbell River, so there are some inconveniences with the one-day reservation facility, but overall it's good.

LLIFANRight by the lake in the city center, the scenery is good and convenient. The facilities are average and relatively old. Dinner is in the hotel restaurant, very cheap. The lakeside bar must be booked in advance, and there is no place a little later. Breakfast must be spit, buffet price is high, coffee tea is another money, a total of five or six things (barely food), unpalatable almost equal to murder, knife pressure neck will not eat a second time.

KKUAN TONGOur family stayed at the night on the last day of Labour Day long weekend, so we felt less busy. It’s a good stay for going to Botanical Beach at Port Renfrew. The Ella beach nearby is awesome for sunset. The room is spacious for four of us. We are happy to see lots tiny fishes and 6 seals playing in the hotel private harbour. We did not use the hotel pool coz it looks not so clean. However we enjoyed the complimentary 1 hr tandem kayak very much. See lots wild lives.

GGuest UserWhat a wonderful unique experience. The setting around the lake was beautiful. We appreciated that all rooms face the lake. We enjoyed the amenities, the restaurant and Games area. We would recommend that everyone take the time to tour Ghost Town....sharing the history of the area. It was incredible....loved the train museum! Had a great stay!

KKaren MengIn addition to some twists and turns in the reservation, the hotel began to say that it did not receive the money, and later found that I had set the water view, but the order received by the hotel was a higher-level waterfront, and there was a price difference. Later, it was finally solved. After I checked in, I found that there was actually a good view of No. 58, and the sound of the sea was not noisy. Others were either blocked by trees or too close to the water. Choosing water views is also a good choice, and the price is more affordable. There is no restaurant near the hotel, so I choose to dine at the hotel and the taste is OK. Breakfast is also ok.

LLTDWe were greeted by the staff when we arrived. Check-in only took a few minutes. The room was superb. Big and spacious room. We had a king and queen rooms and both has their own toilet and bath. A spacious living room with fire place and a balcony overlooking the mountains and lake. The kitchen has everything you needed. I couldn’t ask for more. The hotel is fantastic.

GGuest UserBlack Rock Oceanfront is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in Canada, It is upscale and luxurious. It is located within walking distance of the Trans Pacific hiking trail and the Lighthouse. It has a heated outdoor pool.and a hot tub overlooking the ocean, as well as a fitness room. There are two oceanfront restaurants. They offer the same menu. One is more formal while the other has a casual bar-like feel. The food is very good although pricey, like most places in Ucluelet and Tofino. Our room at the lodge was large. It had a spectacular view of Big Beach and the ocean from the balcony, which was large enough for more than 2 people to sit at. However, you could see and hear your neighbours enjoying their balconies too. There was a large, ultra-modern bathroom with a separate rainfall shower. There was also a 2-person bathtub located next to a covered glass window. If you uncover that window during daylight, you could see the ocean across the room and balcony. I prefer Ucluelet because it's quieter than Tofino, and would definitely stay at Black Rock Oceanfront again in a heartbeat.

AAC-caOur go-to hot spring hotel! 🥰 This time, we booked after a long weekend, and the price immediately dropped. The front desk manager was really nice; they even gave us a pool view room when we arrived early yesterday – thumbs up! 👍 The rooms, being over a hundred years old, do show their age a bit, but the cleanliness inside was excellent. The bathrobes and towels by the pool were perfectly prepared. 👍 The hot spring water here is fantastic 👍 – you can soak for an hour without your fingers wrinkling! 😊 I recommend going early in the morning when the water is hot and clean. Even for just one night, it was a very therapeutic and stress-relieving hot spring experience. ♨️ I'll try to come once a month!
