SsereleaThe room was clean and comfortable. I stayed in a villa, so there were a lot of locks, which was confusing. The back door was out of place and couldn't be opened or closed. The sea is shallow and very good for walking! The staff were also friendly. It was wonderful to have a welcome drink while watching the sunset. It's a shame that the access is not good, but it's worth staying! I told them that I couldn't eat breakfast the next day because of a remote island tour I had booked, so they gave me a lunch box. In the morning, when I went to the restaurant to get my lunch box, the chef didn't understand what I said, so he made it for me in a hurry. There was only enough for four people instead of five, but I was grateful that they made it early in the morning because I had asked for something.

Llp_948Overall, the hotel is beautiful and offers a very pleasant setting. The facilities are well maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxing. A special mention to the staff, who are always present, smiling, and genuinely willing to help at any time, their service is definitely a strong point of this hotel. However, there was a significant issue regarding the room booking. I had reserved a room with an ocean view, and the photos clearly showed this. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room set far back, with no real ocean view. After speaking with reception, I was told that the photos were inaccurate and that the issue came from Trip. Regardless of whether this is the responsibility of the platform or the hotel, this situation is simply not professional and creates unnecessary disappointment. For those specifically looking for a nice ocean view, this may not be the right place. The water itself is not particularly appealing, as it appears green and not very clear. Access to the hotel is quite unique, as you need to take a small boat (about one minute) to cross from one side to the other, which can be a nice experience but may not suit everyone. Lastly, if your room is located far from the reception area, you will need to rely on golf car to get around the property. Unfortunately, these are not always readily available, which can be inconvenient. In summary, the hotel has great potential thanks to its setting and excellent staff, but some aspects, especially booking accuracy and logistics could be significantly improved.

GGuest UserA very VERY strange experience here I must say.. I arrived at the 28 bed dorm room (even though trip.com said it was 10 bed) and there was no sign of any other life in the dorm at all. Most of the beds looked like they had been made months ago and nobody had slept in them since because they were covered in a layer of dust and dirt.. I went back to reception to ask what was going on and they said I’m the only one booked in so I just accepted it as it was. However, later on when I was sitting the bar a member of staff approached me and told me I had been upgraded (because supposedly the dorms weren’t clean due to a big group having checked out yesterday) so I ended up spending two nights in a luxurious Bure, the first night shared with someone else who was booked in for the dorms. The Bure was beautiful and spotless and I am very grateful for the upgrade. The outside shower was also very nice! The breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from! Eggs, sausages, beans, bread, cakes, yogurts, fruit, multiple cereals, tea, coffee and juice, one morning there were pancakes. The only downsides to this resort is they don’t have any activities or excursions of their own and they direct you to the hotel further along - I did snorkelling there which costs $75 - the whole thing felt rushed in my opinion and the trip wasn’t worth the money. We got barely any time in the water and there was no time to stop and observe anything, seemed like the guys on the boat just wanted to get it all over and done with as fast as possible.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Club Fiji for our entire 5-day visit, and after exploring the area during our stay, we believe it was the best choice in Nadi. Why did we love it? The location is fantastic — right on the beach (we stayed in a beachfront bure), close to the airport but without any airplane noise. There’s a convenient free shuttle to many activities like the Vau Contemporary Dance performance or a Denarau snorkel cruise, and a taxi to Nadi town costs about 10 FJD. Our beachfront bure was newly renovated, clean, and had everything we needed — not fancy but comfortable. The beds were made regularly if we weren’t in the room when housekeeping came by. The grounds are stunning, with beautifully kept gardens and loads of chill-out spots — beach beds under umbrellas, hammocks on palm trees, two pools, and lovely spaces to eat or have a drink. The service was very personal, with staff always checking if we needed anything. They even have a travel expert on-site to help plan your activities and bookings. Entertainment happens most nights, ranging from the unique way dinners are served (like Korean grills or beach BBQs) to concerts and local celebrations. Food-wise, the buffet breakfast is simple but adequate since there are few other options nearby; the à la carte dinner menu is decent, but the special grills are outstanding. We really loved the authentic Fijian atmosphere here, which felt very different from the typical all-inclusive resorts—it had a feeling you couldn’t find just anywhere in the world.

GGuest UserThe dorm is on the first floor of the hotel with 22 bed. The dorm room and bathroom are clean and has small lockers to lock your stuff away. The beach is a few steps away from the hotel.

GGuest UserThis is not up to standard with a 5-star resort. Overall it’s a nice stay, but overpriced and don’t go expecting 5-star luxury. It unfortunately has not kept up with the maintenance it has needed over the years. Negatives - had aircon issues and slept without aircon, they moved us rooms to fix this - had a leak above our shower in both tooms - fridge was broken in both rooms - lack of pool towels for number of guests, tried getting a pool towel on multiple occasions to be told they were out. When we eventually got some they were stained. - lack of snorkle gear for guests, we unfortunately couldn’t snorkle because they were always out. We spoke to other guests who went and bought some because they couldn’t get any either - aircon in rooms is very loud - internet access drops out constantly - we couldn’t watch tv as the internet was down for netflix on the tv and we were told we could only watch it on phones or ipads - food menus in the room are dirty and falling apart Positives - most of the staff is really friendly - adults only pool is calm and quiet - good assortment of activities and things to do in the hotel - staff is mostly helpful when you need things We actually tried to refund the end of our stay so we could leave. I wouldn’t recommend it to people and just know if you do stay here it is more like a 3 to 4 star resort.

GGuest UserQuite place away from the crowds and busy centre. The resort is near the beach, which has very clear sea water. The waves are blocked by the coral reef, so the water stays calm. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, but a change of menu, at least once a week would be great.

GGuest UserI stayed here for two nights in a dorm, lodge 1. I had a top bunk and there wasn’t a railing so I was pretty worried about falling out. Also there weren’t any plugs inside the room - only one outside in the washroom area. Apparently the other dorm lodges do have plugs and railings though. Food is only at set times but was pretty reasonably priced! I had the split pea soup for dinner one night (5/5!) and a veggie curry the following (3/5) and a veggie burger for lunch (4.5/5). Complimentary breakfast was pretty basic but good enough! They had soy and almond milk available. There is a cute ethical shop/cafe nearby which is so nice but other than that I don’t think there’s much else within walking distance in terms of shops. The resort had daily activities to get involved with which is a bonus!! The pool was also very nice and the beach is great for snorkelling! My favourite part of the beach house was the shower in the washroom area attached to the dorm/lodge. It was an outside area but secluded and the shower pressure was insane!! And nice warm water. However, the toilet itself smelt pretty bad and I didn’t dare go near it.

DDavid KC ChengThe Sofitel Fiji is in an excellent location and is our top pick in the area. The facilities are perfect for families with kids and seniors, as well as general travelers looking for a vacation. As a large brand hotel, the amenities are comprehensive, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. The staff's service level is exceptional. The breakfast was praised for being plentiful with many choices. This time, our family of nine traveled a long distance to Fiji and stayed in three hotels, and the Sofitel was by far the best choice. Highly recommended.

MM327818****The InterContinental Golf Resort is quite a distance from the city center and the airport. However, if you're not planning to visit the outer islands in Fiji, the InterContinental is probably the best choice. The sea views are much better compared to city hotels, making it a great place for a relaxing vacation. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay – incredibly varied, and they were always quick to replenish everything, so there were always fresh options available. The environment was also beautiful and comfortable. The front desk and shuttle bus service provided the best experience. Lunch and dinner felt a bit less impressive compared to breakfast. On our last night, we got caught in a heavy downpour. The restaurant initially started to leak, and then we had to move to the middle section. We didn't even finish our meal and got wet. The drainage system seemed inadequate; the floor was quickly covered in water, and we had to brave the rain to get back to our room. We asked the restaurant to call a shuttle bus, but they said they were too busy and couldn't help, which resulted in us getting completely soaked. Our shoes were still wet the next day. I hope this can be improved. Overall, it was a good experience.
