Very good hotel, excellent location, large public areas and very warm feeling. The room was the largest we stayed in Iceland and could easily spread out 2 boxes. Opposite is the lighthouse, the weather is clear, you can see the aurora directly from the window (sea view room can, the other side will have the light pollution of the airport). The hotel drives 10 kilometers to the airport and will pass a small town.

Booked a brief 6-hour overnight stay to catch a few hours sleep & a shower between long flight days, was worth every penny. Got in just after midnight in late June & took a pic of the ocean from my balcony, beautiful! Everything was clean, comfortable, & the staff very nice & accommodating. Hotel only a couple of miles from the airport.

GGuest UserLocation near the airport. We have a comfortable and restful stay in the cottage. The environment is so fresh, clean and quiet. There is Lupine just outside the room, a super nice view. We have a shared toilet with others, but the bathroom is so clean and spacious enough with a hair dryer, heater, shower gel and shampoo. Highly recommended!

AAroundtworldService was great! Checked in at midnight and receptionist waited for us! However room was slightly small for 3 pax. Didn’t go for breakfast as it was pricey and don’t have much variety

GGuest UserThis apartment is super cute. We loved the decor. We had everything we needed in terms of making meals for the family. The location was a quick drive from the airport and the owners were very easy to contact. We easily recommend and/or consider staying again.

GGuest UserThe view from the window of this hotel is particularly good. If the weather is good, you can soak in the hot spring pool on the rooftop and watch the beautiful sunset. There is also a free airport drop-off service that takes only 8 minutes to get to the airport. The restaurant food is also very good. I was very satisfied with the accommodation experience.

MMelihClean but very small room. Window was rusted and could not be fully closed. Would be nice to have a few more shelves/racks. Excellent early breakfast for early flights.
