JJamesThe hotel is in the style of an old state-owned enterprise. The facilities are too old and seem to have not been renovated. The rooms are small and damaged everywhere. Its location is the best, just within 100 meters after entering the toll gate.
The service in the front desk lobby is relatively good, and they are caring.
The mix of guests is also a problem. You can hear loud noises at four o'clock in the morning, and at six o'clock in the morning, the old men and women ”wake up” everyone like the crowing of the 🐓 in the morning. The breakfast is average.
By the way, I have to remind you that starting this year, Jiuhua Mountain does not allow self-driving to the mountain during the day (it is allowed after 5 pm, but it is also subject to the daily control notice). Guests need to pick up their own luggage and take the shuttle bus at 50 yuan per person to check in after going up the mountain, which is not very convenient.

YYida88Our family of 13 recently spent three nights at Shanyu Life and Huangshan Design hotel and the experience was delightful. The location is excellent—about a 10‑minute drive from the Huangshan park entrance—yet the hotel sits in a quiet area surrounded by mountains and tea plantations. The hotel’s free shuttle to Huangshan was extremely convenient for a group of our size. The resort offers spacious rooms with high‑quality finishes and fittings; All 7 of our rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with comfortable bedding and bathroom amenities that made for a very relaxing stay. The property is so tastefully designed that we were content to simply linger in the common areas after breakfast, sipping tea or practicing Chinese calligraphy in the serene setting.
The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service from the staff, who were consistently caring, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs. They handled several ad‑hoc requests even before our arrival and continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay so that every member of our family felt well looked after.
We particularly enjoyed the welcome hot tea while hotel owner Fang Fei introduced many interesting places to visit around Huangshan. The team also arranged a half‑day excursion to Mukeng Village Bamboo Forest, where the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was filmed, and it was amazing climbing the hills through such dense bamboo forest. After long days of sightseeing and mountain climbing, it was a joy to return to the resort, where a warm and hearty dinner awaited us, making it feel like coming home each evening. Fang Fei is also a tea master, and she not only taught us a lot about Huangshan’s famous teas but also hosted a tea‑appreciation and meditation session for us, which was exactly what our family needed after hectic travels through many Chinese cities before arriving in Huangshan.
Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable, and this hotel is highly recommended to anyone planning to visit Huangshan.

GGuest UserMy family and I stayed at the Lotus Mountain Resort on New Year's Eve. The room was incredibly spacious, and we even got a complimentary upgrade! We had a private hot spring, which was spotless. The design is elegantly rustic. Breakfast was abundant and varied. Since it was New Year's Eve, the atmosphere was lively with lots of fireworks displays. When we checked out, they even gave us a lovely souvenir, which was a nice touch. Highly recommend! Plus, the location is very convenient; a butler picked us up from the transfer center after we came down from Huangshan. Excellent!

The pedestrian street is bustling both day and night. We booked a king room and even got a free upgrade! The hotel breakfast is served on the 25th floor from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, and they even offer a late-night congee service. I feel this hotel offers great value for money. The room was quite spacious, and the shower had good water pressure, making for a very comfortable shower experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThe room is very clean. I live in Building 1. There are listening decorations on the first floor. I feel very safe when I see the puppy god! We entered the mountain at 4 o'clock in the morning and called the front desk. We were already asleep, so they naturally called a sightseeing bus to take us to the front desk. Thank you very much! There were not many people on Monday and they upgraded our room for us! Thanks again! Really good, very cost-effective! Sleeping very comfortably!

GGuest UserThe first time I stayed at the Pingtian Lake Peninsula Hotel, I was completely attracted! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the warmth of home. The hotel has a great view of Pingtian Lake. The room design is elegant. When you open the window, you can see the lake and mountains like an ink painting. The mist in the morning and the sunset in the evening are so beautiful that people don’t want to leave~
I especially want to praise my exclusive housekeeper Michelle! 💖From booking to check-in, she followed up attentively throughout the whole process, communicated needs in advance, and carefully arranged the itinerary. She was warmly greeted upon arrival. During the stay, whether she asked about the surrounding tour routes or needed to send extra supplies late at night, she always replied to the message in seconds and solved it efficiently.
The hotel facilities are also a plus! The bedding is as soft as clouds, the smart home makes life super convenient, and the local dishes in the lake view restaurant are authentic and exquisite. It is a 5-minute walk to walk around the lake. It is far away from the hustle and bustle but has convenient transportation. It is simply a perfect combination of vacation and business.

It takes 15 minutes to drive up from the bottom, and the winding mountain road of more than ten kilometers is quite thrilling. The hotel is just above Fengle Lake, with a very wide view and a panoramic view of the lake. However, the hotel should be a bit old, and the furniture is still a little old. Because it is in the mountains, there are sometimes some small insects such as spiders in the room, but don't worry too much. The service of the hotel is average, and it is quite satisfactory. There are some drinks provided on the first day of check-in, which is still good. The breakfast is actually very average, there are not many dishes, a little more than the express hotel, but there are still noodles and wontons.

The manager and aunt in the store are very kind and friendly, and the cat is also very cute and gentle and will take the initiative to come and post. You can eat in the store. The aunt is very skilled and the food is delicious. The breakfast is not particularly varied but it is very delicious. The aunt can also help cook noodles and small wontons. The overall environment of the store is very good, the garden is very beautiful, and there is its own small vegetable garden.
