Facilities: The hotel's facilities are comprehensive and of good quality. I especially want to commend the room key system – you can download an app on your phone and use Bluetooth to unlock the door, and your room number is also visible on the app. Another great feature is the TV; you can cast from any phone without any extra charges. The hotel also boasts a KTV, chess and card rooms, electric vehicle slow-charging stations, a coffee shop, a cocktail bar, a kids' playground, and a restaurant (with private rooms), making it very well-equipped.
Cleanliness: Absolutely spotless, meeting five-star hotel standards. The linens and other soft furnishings were excellent. However, if you plan to use the outdoor bathtub, I'd recommend asking for it to be disinfected, as it is outdoors.
Environment: It's very close to the entrance of the Huangguoshu Waterfall scenic area. The view from the hotel, though, is a bit underwhelming, but it's not a major issue. There's a large lawn with a small children's playground, perfect for families. Rooms facing the road can be noisy due to passing trucks, so light sleepers might want to avoid those. Since it was off-season, the hotel offered us a room upgrade, which was a very thoughtful touch.
Service: When we first arrived, we hadn't booked a room and wanted to see the rooms first. The front desk staff were very welcoming and kindly showed us around. They didn't show any displeasure when we mentioned we wanted to compare with other hotels. When we decided to check in, the front desk attendant came out from behind the counter to assist us. Our luggage was carried all the way to our room. During check-out in the morning, the cleaning staff we encountered were all smiling and responsive. The management is excellent, and the training is clearly very thorough.
The hotel staff has a friendly service attitude. The staff at the front desk, lobby, and catering are warm and polite, and the service is thoughtful. The hotel has convenient transportation and is close to Shuicheng Ancient Town and Fengchi Garden, making it very convenient for leisure walks and exploring special restaurants. The overall hardware of the hotel is of five-star standard. It was my first time staying here, and the hotel upgraded me to an executive room, which was very thoughtful! The weather was very good this morning. I woke up early and watched the sunrise in the room. I was very satisfied! grateful! I will stay here again next time I go to Liupanshui.
Is this service really any different from having a private butler? Honestly, for a place daring to call itself 'Guizhou Hotel' and 'VIP Building,' they certainly live up to the name. What really impressed me wasn't high-tech gadgets or voice control, but the practical comfort and attention to detail that enhance everyday life. I won't go into the usual review points, but I have to highlight the 8 bottles of mineral water in the room and the good quality bagged green tea. These small touches subtly influenced my perception of value. A hotel that uses details to drive customer spending – that's truly what cultural tourism should focus on. Enough said, I've already extended my stay. Whenever I come to Guiyang in the future, this is where I'll be staying.

Five-star rating! The hotel's location is excellent; you can practically walk to famous attractions. The environment is top-notch, the bedding is comfortable, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Both the service attitude and awareness align perfectly with a five-star hotel's standards. They even went above and beyond by helping me with an urgent printing request, which was beyond my expectations. My only suggestion for improvement would be the sofa bed mattress. Overall, as a five-star hotel in downtown Guiyang, it offers good value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.

The hotel's facilities are top-notch, truly impressive. There are four elevators for guest rooms and two more for the restaurant. Parking is extremely convenient. We were upgraded to a larger room for free. From the floor-to-ceiling window, there was a vibrant, picturesque scene of daily life unfolding, with a railway, a kindergarten, and more – it was beautiful!
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices available.
But what really stood out was the service. As soon as we entered the hotel, the female security guard greeted us warmly and even recommended a good car wash nearby. The female greeter, in particular, was exceptional. Both times we needed to move our luggage, she insisted on helping us take it to our room. When she heard we drink a lot of water, she immediately offered to bring more to our room. The room attendant apologized for a supposed delay in bringing something, which wasn't even the case. I really regret not getting that greeter's employee ID. The male staff were also very helpful, proactively coming to our room to assist with the air conditioning. The front desk service was equally friendly and pleasant.
This is a government-designated hotel that is willing to go the extra mile, without any pretension. They attract guests not just with their excellent facilities, but also with their outstanding service. They truly deserve a big thumbs up!

My stay here was really great. First off, the room layout was well-planned with distinct living and sleeping areas, which made it very comfortable. The living room had a huge TV, perfect for an immersive viewing experience, and the sofa was quite nice. The service was excellent; the staff were friendly and always happy to help. I also have to commend the 'breakfast served until 1 PM' policy – it's a lifesaver for late sleepers. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

This five-diamond hotel, listed on Ctrip's hotel ranking and one of the top hotels in Tongren, turned out to be incredibly disappointing! First, let's talk about the positives: the overall environment was indeed good. We stayed in the garden view building, and it offered great photo opportunities outside. The room facilities and equipment were fine, and there was plenty of hot water. However, there were just too many downsides!
1. When we booked, our first choice was a twin room. Since only the Suzhou-style garden twin room was available that day, we booked it. Upon arriving in Tongren, we took a taxi following the navigation, only to find a long flight of stairs at the hotel entrance with no bellhop in sight. It was hot, and we had two suitcases. I went up to call for help, and there was only one person at the front desk who said I had to wait. It was a peak season during a short holiday, so why weren't enough staff arranged? Did it seem like the occupancy rate was very low?! Okay, after struggling to carry our two suitcases up, suddenly there were two people at the front desk... Then the front desk staff started scanning our IDs. It turned out our Suzhou-style garden room was in a different area (Hilton Garden Inn)! Why wasn't this marked on the Ctrip homepage??? If it had been, I wouldn't have gone to the wrong place!! Upon arriving at the Hilton Garden Inn, they scanned our IDs again. Do we really need to scan them twice?
2. Consequently, the takeout we ordered in advance was delivered to the Fengqi front desk. They said they would send it to the Garden Inn. After waiting for over half an hour with no delivery, I called again to inquire. They said there was no one at the front desk, so I had to go down and get it myself. When I got there, I saw three people at the front desk. So, this is what 'no one at the front desk' means?? They then claimed the two other staff members had just returned. Yes, I must have such 'good' luck?
3. The booking included breakfast, Hanfu experience, and a boat tour discount, but none of this was mentioned during check-in. I had to ask about everything. Where was your service?
4. The handheld shower in the room was broken. Don't your engineering staff conduct regular room inspections? Is the MOD duty manager too idle? As a resort-style hotel with clear peak and off-peak seasons, are you just playing around by not conducting room inspections and repairs during the off-peak season? Does Hilton know that one of its mid-range hotels offers this kind of service?
The first impression I got in Tongren was extremely bad! It ruined my entire mood for the trip! I am truly speechless!!!
I stayed for three nights, and the location on the observation deck offered a spectacular view. The room facilities were excellent, and the bedding was comfortable. What truly impressed me was the guesthouse's exceptional service. The lobby provided complimentary coffee, tea, desserts, and even a Miao ethnic clothing experience. In the room, we had free fruit and drinks, and laundry service was also available – every detail was well thought out.
Just a heads-up: navigating the Miao Village involves a lot of uphill and downhill stairs, so I recommend packing light. Although the hotel butler helped with luggage from the ticket office, the journey from there to the sightseeing bus, then to the observation deck, and finally to the guesthouse still involves quite a bit of walking and climbing stairs, which can be a bit tiring. Nevertheless, this hotel is highly recommended.

True to its reputation as a national treasure! Even before arriving, service manager Xiao Yuan proactively reached out to arrange our room and sent us a travel guide. The hotel's breakfast selection and quality far exceeded our expectations. We even got to try the complimentary Maotai ice cream, which thrilled the kids. Renhuai, the 'Wine Capital of China,' was historically a bustling hub for merchants, and this was our first visit. The hotel's warm service and thoughtful greetings truly showcase the excellence of a top-tier domestic brand in both hardware and software. It's a shame we only stayed one night; next time, we'll definitely extend our stay for a few more days. We'll be back, full of praise for Maotai Hotel and our fondness for酱香 (Jiangxiang) liquor!
The night view of the ancient town was beautiful, and the hotel environment was fantastic. We arrived in the ancient town around 9 PM, and the hotel staff, worried that we had a lot of luggage, personally came to pick us up at the drop-off point and brought us fresh fruit. The service was very heartwarming. We were assigned a river-view king room with a private terrace overlooking the water, and the view from the room was superb.
I should mention that this trip to Zhenyuan wasn't originally on our Guizhou itinerary, but after arriving, I discovered that the beautiful scenery and cultural environment of Zhenyuan Ancient Town were a pleasant surprise—it was amazing!
