The service was excellent and the facilities were comprehensive. Since it was the off-season, they generously upgraded our room. We had a direct view of the Potala Palace, which was fantastic. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointing compared to previous reviews; the à la carte Western options, for my personal taste, were a bit like 'dark cuisine' (a humorous way to say it was badly made or unappetizing).

The room facilities are very new, the hotel service is very good, and the housekeeper Nizhen is very attentive and considerate. You can also choose the hotel restaurant for meals. Overall, I feel that the price-performance ratio is good. The stone pot chicken is delicious. I will choose to stay here again when I come to Linzhi next time.

The nicest hotel we have stayed in during our 4 week trip in China! The Hilton was a very clean hotel with comfortable rooms and a great bed and shower. The breakfast buffet is very extensive with Chinese and Western choices. We are at the Coal Bar one night and the pizza and beer was reasonably priced and the pizza was large and quite tasty. The location is good!

Choosing the right hotel in Lhasa is so important! The Spring and Autumn Oxygen Hotel is definitely a top choice. The abundant oxygen totally kept altitude sickness at bay. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the heating was excellent. The service was attentive and responsive to all our needs. Plus, the breakfast was rich and plentiful. This hotel really elevated our entire trip experience. I genuinely recommend it! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!

Hampton by Hilton Shannan is a new hotel that only opened at the end of 2024. The hotel's facilities are very complete, all are intelligent voice control, the mattress is very comfortable, and very clean, the room is large, the toilet in the bathroom is a smart toilet, more advanced than the one in my house, can be remote control, remote control smart toilet This is very suitable for me, Because I'm hard on the toilet on the ordinary. We went to the hotel and gave us a free upgrade of the room type, and also sent welcome fruit. The hotel minibar's Coke Qixi, soda water mineral water is free to drink, breakfast variety is many, taste is also very good, this price is very worth it. And one thing worthy of praise is that the lobby manager also helped me book 5 rooms at Hilton Huiting Hotel Lhasa. The price is 80 yuan cheaper than the above. This service can be praised. I will stay here next time I travel to Shannan.

My overall experience at the Potala Palace View Hotel (Potala Palace Branch) was extremely satisfying. The room directly faces the Potala Palace, offering a panoramic view where both the morning and night scenery have their unique charm. Just sitting by the window, you can quietly enjoy this breathtaking and peaceful sight. The hotel's rooftop restaurant also boasts a great location, allowing you to dine with views of the Potala Palace, creating a wonderful ambiance. The staff were warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Whether during check-in or dining, any requests were promptly addressed and resolved, making me feel completely at ease. The overall environment is comfortable, and the service is considerate. It's an excellent choice for anyone visiting Lhasa who wants a comfortable stay with convenient access to views. Highly recommended.

Looking at the decor, you can tell it must have been beautiful when it was first built, with distinct ******* characteristics. It basically has all the facilities and services a five-star hotel should offer. However, the problem is that after so many years, the facilities are just too old. The cabinet doors don't close properly, the seating cushions are heavily worn, the old-fashioned toilet is very difficult to use, and the glass is foggy – I'm not sure if it's dirty or just aged. I chose a room with a Potala Palace view, but the cloudy glass really spoiled the experience. There were even leftover toenails from previous guests on the carpet, which was quite disgusting. I also have to mention the mini-bar. There were only 6 cans of Coke and Sprite, with no price tags. I assumed they were complimentary, but when I asked, they were 18 yuan each. Seriously, I've stayed in many five-star hotels. If a mini-bar is going to charge, please at least stock it with sparkling water, orange juice, and beer (if not wine or sparkling wine) to look more professional. If you only have these few bottles, either be generous and offer them for free, or just remove them. The current approach feels a bit cheap. Overall, this hotel definitely needs a renovation.

A hotel worthy of a full 5 stars. Shannan exceeded my expectations and re-examined the Hilton brand. The hotel service, from the moment I arrived, was excellent, attentive, and professional, demonstrating strong brand management. Check-in was prompt, and we were even greeted with warm rhodiola rosea tea. The hotel room was spacious and user-friendly, and I slept very comfortably that night. The breakfast was also exceptional, with a wide selection. The bread was delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff even took the initiative to make local glutinous rice cakes for guests, which were delicious. There are many dining options nearby, including markets, supermarkets, and restaurants, all within walking distance. The hotel also provided evening porridge, milk, and small bread, which I slept soundly after. Due to time constraints, I didn't stay an extra day, which is a shame. I will definitely return to your hotel when I visit Ngari next year, and I'll definitely choose Hilton again if I ever find one.

This was my first time in Lhasa, and when I was booking a hotel, I was immediately drawn to Fanlian's decor. The aromatherapy inside the hotel was very pleasant, and the interior design was exactly my style. Being welcomed with a Hada (******* ceremonial scarf) and hot tea made me feel right at home instantly. The hotel offers many experiential activities like yoga, ******* incense making, and meditation. The room was very comfortable, equipped with a humidifier and diffused oxygen. The warm porridge provided nightly in a thermos was a lovely touch. I've already recommended it to friends planning a trip to Lhasa. Each room also comes with a dedicated butler who is attentive and meticulous, answering any questions promptly. This was a very satisfying stay.

Revisiting Lhasa, I didn't hesitate to choose this absolute gem of a hotel again! It was my second time in Lhasa, and when it came to selecting accommodation, there was no deliberation – I immediately rebooked this hotel. My first stay had already blown me away, and this time, it certainly didn't disappoint. It was still full of delightful surprises, offering incredibly good value for money! I already knew this hotel was special; it was formerly the Nepalese Consulate. The moment you step through the doors, you're instantly enveloped in a rich ******* ambiance. The unique ******* architecture and the magnificent statue of King Gesar reveal meticulous attention to detail at every turn. Even a casual snap here turns into a stunning, unedited photo – a 9-photo grid for social media simply isn't enough to capture all its beauty! The guest benefits are consistently thoughtful. Given the high-altitude environment, every room comes fully equipped with an oxygen generator and humidifier, so you don't have to worry about altitude discomfort. The attention to detail extends to practical amenities like wet wipes and disposable toilet seat covers, all readily prepared. The biggest surprise, though, is the complimentary ******* costume experience! Donning a traditional outfit instantly transforms you into a 'Drolma' (******* fairy/girl), creating an amazing atmosphere perfect for breathtaking photos. A special mention must go to the Gesar Japo Museum located within the hotel. It's incredibly worth exploring, accessible to both hotel guests and outside visitors. Every time I visit, I make sure to spend some time there, learning fascinating stories about ******* culture. And the location? Absolutely unbeatable! You can walk to Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple in just 5 minutes, making sightseeing incredibly convenient and saving a lot of travel time. Oh, and upon check-in, you also receive a voucher for the 3rd-floor cafe! From there, you can directly take photos with the iconic Potala Palace. The view from the window is simply stunning. Sipping coffee while gazing at the Potala Palace in the distance truly magnifies the tranquility and enjoyment of the entire journey.
