Very good hotel with big room for 3-pax! Comfortable and clean. About 5mins walking distance to JR station. Will book again!
Hotel Monterey Sendai

Perhaps the best hotel throughout my Tokyo - Tohoku trip. Comparatively spacious, staff speaks English well, the onsen spa is very affordable for guests, walking distance from Sendai station, hotel has unique 18th century European design, comfortable beds, good amenities. Only thing is that the onsen spa does not permit guests with tattoo, which can pose a bit of a problem in light of the free and open society nowadays. Perhaps the hotel can limit it to restricting only guests with ”tattoo sleeves” or something. Small cute little tattoos all over the body do not necessarily create a negative perception. I have 3 small tattoos on my body and I still went to the onsen nonetheless during non-peak hours, just to be respectful (I was all alone and would have left if it created discomfort for other guests). But love the hotel overall. Highly recommended.
Almont Hotel Sendai

The breakfast and bath were great. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, including seafood bowls and beef tongue curry, and the children even got toys! The gelato was delicious! It would have been better if there were more varieties of juices for children, etc. The bath had shampoo bars for both men and women, and I was happy to be able to use ones I'd never used before. The staff were also kind, so we had a wonderful time.
Hotel Pearl City Sendai

I’ve stayed in many budget and business hotels in Japan. This was by far my worst experience. I stayed for several days to attend a conference nearby. The price was reasonable and location was close to subway and central city. There must be better options in this area and price range. Consider this a last resort hotel when bookings aren’t available elsewhere. Service was poor by Japanese standards. Rooms were run down and in dire need of renovations, it smelled a lot of cigarettes, especially if you opened the window. Walls were thin and it was difficult to sleep with noisy neighbours and firm uncomfortable bedding. A breakfast service is available but I don’t recommend this, the food available is limited and lacks the usual continental options or local specialties typical for Japanese hotels. I communicated with staff almost entirely in Japanese and I’m not sure they are able to accommodate foreign tourists who cannot. For these reasons I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you are visiting Japan from abroad.
Dormy Inn Express Sendai Seaside
4.6/590 Reviews
Very nice place , we loved it because of its hot spring.. the room is very neat , also they have some free snacks, such as coffee machine so you can drink all you want, free ice candy, free yonaki soba to eat at night in their restaurant, then they have free yakult for each every morning. The service is very good. We stayed there with our 1yo, and he liked it. The room is spacious enough for him to play around. Location is very convenient esp if you have a car you can ride around the area , a lot of shopping centers and restaurants. We'll definitely book again in this hotel.
Hotel Green Palace

The hotel is very good, although the year is relatively long, the room type is relatively small, but clean, the facilities are intact. And the hotel also sent small snacks, super delicious, expensive, ten yuan a! The front desk of the hotel is very warm, the hall is hung with the signature of some celebrities, I know Sanpu Youhe. The hotel booked by Ctrip is very expensive. It may be big data killing. Do not use domestic software overseas. Download an agoda. It is convenient and cheap to book a hotel. You don't have to ask for a lot of personal information like domestic.
Matsushima Century Hotel
4.1/520 Reviews
By private car: Located about 25 km from Sendai and Ishinomaki along Route 45, and about 100 km from Kesennuma. By train: About 20 minutes on foot from Matsushima Station on the JR Tohoku Main Line, or Matsushima Kaigan Station on the JR Senseki Line. It takes about 15 minutes on foot from the station. Within a 5-minute walk from the hotel, there is Fukuura Bridge (a pier to Fukuura Island), a sightseeing boat dock, and Zuiganji Temple, making it a base for sightseeing in Matsushima. The hotel building faces the national highway, but the entrance is in the back of the alley on the sea side from the national highway, so if you follow the tourist guidebook, you can reach the hotel without any problems. The building is located between the coastline and the national highway along the cliff, so it has a slightly complicated structure and there are differences in elevation, but there is almost always a slope installed where there is a step. The interior is barrier-free. The hotel itself has a long history and the exterior of the building still feels old, but the interior is kept clean and the single rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is also a large public bath and an open-air bath, and Matsushima Onsen is a relatively new natural hot spring that was mined after 2000, and the bath has two temperature levels (there is also a sauna, but due to various circumstances, currently on hiatus). This time we arrived in Sendai late at night on the Shinkansen, so it was only a breakfast plan, but the breakfast buffet has a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and some of the tables are partitioned so you can relax without worrying about your surroundings. good. Even though I checked in late at night, they kindly waited on me, such as issuing coupons, and the free drink bar for guests was open in the lobby until around 21:00, which was very helpful. Hotels around Sendai Station are particularly expensive these days, so I felt that it was the best hotel for business purposes besides sightseeing because it was possible to stay at a reasonable price with a large communal bath and dinner and breakfast.
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai
4.5/5132 Reviews
The hotel is located just a few minutes by walking behind the main station and there are a lot of yummy food stores along the way & at the station so we never stayed hungry. There was a lot of road works during the time we were there so it’s a bit inconvenient but apart from that the room was at decent size & very clean. If you arrive early than standard check-in time, do a little walk around the city center and come back a little before the time so that you may avoid the queue when everyone shows up at said time.
Hotel Crown Hills Sendai Aobadori
4.1/562 Reviews
The official site description is only lies. The location may be good, but even if it is a cheap hotel, it is a price if you consider the content of the service and the quality of the hotel. The reason I chose this hotel is the public bath. However, men can use it after midnight and after work hours. Other time zones are female-only alternation systems, so they are not available for people who work normally. It was not available because the time zone and the actual time zone published on the official site were different. Despite the fact that the front desk is not Bali or free, it is narrow and there is no lobby. What was surprised to enter the room was that the room was dusty, the futon was strange, the spider's nest was under the bed, the bath was dirty and unsanitary The temperature of hot water in the bath Even though it was about 30 degrees on the display, it was hot enough to be scrambled, and I filled it with water many times. At night, you can hear footsteps rather than conversations from people passing through the corridor, and the sound of neighbors using toilets and the sound of hangers can be heard until the sound of watching TV. There are some wifi, but it is stressed because it is cut many times during use. The note in the room also contains Japanese and English, but only Japanese and Chinese were ”Please don't open the door and talk to your neighbor”. This is that the Chinese are doing bad things. The fact that there are many Chinese was very worried about mites. In addition, the sound of patchy from the ceiling is heard in the middle of the night. It was so much that I thought it would come out even if it was a ghost. The breakfast is also a substitute that cannot be said to be very delicious. It was the level that it was to fill the stomach for the time being. In addition, there is no person at the front desk if you want to check out. Waited for a long 々 and was not in time for the train. Businessmen should not use this hotel. There is a hindrance to work.
Henn na Hotel Sendai Kokubuncho
4.4/5102 Reviews
I stayed at ”strange hotel Sendai Kokubun Cho” just opened on September 1 this year. The location is in the ichibancho arcade. Near Sendai Mitsukoshi and Kokubun Cho. Net reservation from yaran. It was a special plan to open, and I was able to stay at 5000 yen with breakfast for one night. First of all, a nice projection mapping is greeted from the entrance to the check-in counter, and the check-in is unmanned. After filling in the necessary matters in the touch panel, the system is deposited by the adjustment machine (credit card 💳 etc.) and the card key is received. There was no particular difficult operation. I'm going to the room immediately. The single room on the 4 floor guided. The bed is double size. The mat is made of French bed. The bed was outstanding. There is an outlet at the pillow and the charging of the smartphone 🔋 is easy. The size is 16.6 square meters and full. The TV is very convenient to use video content such as YouTube on Sony's gravure 43 inches and smart TV. Also, the LG styler extends the shirt and deodorization effect of the clothes. Breakfast is selected from the Western restaurant bee in Sendai as a first floor tenant, Napolitan, omelette and curry. (with drinks, soup, salad 🥗 together.) I chose Napolitan. The amount was also satisfactory. (On the other hand, it may be less 々 heavy for those who ask for Japanese breakfast.) Very satisfied. Strange hotel. I will repi.
