I rented a Chevrolet 4WD at Los Angeles Airport, and it was great; the car was in excellent condition. The only downside was the pick-up location; I had to take a bus. Thankfully, everything went smoothly. I rented it for four days, averaging about 300 kilometers each day. I was very satisfied. I'll definitely rent from Ctrip again next time.

I took the Volvo XC90, a truly stunning car I’ve always wanted to drive, for a drive on California’s Route 1. The car’s condition and features were excellent, and the pick-up and return procedures were smooth. However, I think I paid too much for the insurance when I picked it up.

I chose to pick up and drop off the car in downtown LA. The counter is located at the entrance of the Treasure Island Hotel, and you can clearly see where the counter is. However, it is only open from Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 13:00. It is not open on Saturdays and Sundays. After picking up the car, I need to find the car. When returning the car, I thought there was a drop box at the parking area, but I ended up going around in circles before I found out that it was in a small box next to the car rental counter.

The car we picked up from Los Angeles was exactly as ordered. They told us to return it empty, which was great. We rented the car for 21 days. After 16 days, we had a flat tire on the highway, and roadside assistance arrived within an hour. They towed our car to the nearest Hertz branch and provided a new one within an hour. The whole process was very easy. I feel very lucky to have chosen Hertz. I recommend them to everyone; it was a wonderful experience.
