From November 6th to 15th, 2026, the Lisbon Film Festival (LEFFEST) will be held in eight iconic venues, transforming Lisbon and Amadora into a constellation of theater, encounters, and revelations. Ten days of film screenings, debates, and exchanges will make these eight stages spaces for transition and discovery, where film intersects with music, literature, and contemporary reflection.

Fairyland Lisbon, Portugal's largest Christmas market and one of Europe's most distinctive winter destinations, is located in the iconic Eduardo VII Park in the heart of Lisbon. The 11th annual Fairyland Lisbon transforms the park into a magical gathering place, bringing Christmas to life through nature, art, food, and unforgettable experiences. Inspired by the concept of "the roots of Christmas," visitors can explore immersive venues, meet local artisans, savor Portuguese festive flavors, enjoy live performances and family-friendly activities, and create wonderful memories under the Lisbon winter sun.

This festival is a modern interpretation of an ancient Celtic celebration, embodying the connection between culture and the cycles of nature, the changing seasons, and spiritual beliefs. You are cordially invited to this unique festival at Quinta da Ribafria, a historic estate with a larger capacity. The Fire Festival blends Celtic and medieval elements, offering an immersive experience. Beyond the ancient marketplace, we can also pierce through the veil of mystery to explore the creatures and spirits around us, some harmful, some harmless. Legend has it that centuries ago, in secluded villages in the Sintra Mountains, people celebrated Samhain, a three-day celebration of fire and unity. Merchants brought spices and fabrics from afar. Innkeepers offered heartwarming elixirs. Music echoed through the mountains as people sang and danced in celebration.

Amadora BD is one of the most important cultural events in Portugal and a major international event for comics, making it one of the most popular comics events in Portugal. As an international comics festival, its mission is to promote the best of world comics each year, bringing together the most outstanding comic artists and representatives from the São Paulo metropolitan area. In addition to organizing workshops, exhibitions, book launches, signings, seminars, games areas, and guided tours for schools and other educational institutions throughout the country, Amadora BD boasts 36 years of experience in comics art direction, hosting international delegations, organizing comics workshops, and is particularly adept at hosting large-scale seminars for professionals. Since its inception, Amadora BD has actively participated in international projects and was a key participant in the "Franco-Portuguese Cultural Season," a joint event organized by the French Cultural Center and the Portuguese Ministry of Culture.

For all gamers, Lisbon Games Week is back, this time with an expanded retro gaming area showcasing arcade games and vintage computers. The event is game-themed, with hundreds of activities for visitors to enjoy. For arcade enthusiasts, there's a dedicated area displaying classic arcade machines, original arcade machines, a large collection of American pinball machines, and modern Japanese arcade machines, including racing simulators, shooting simulators, rhythm machines, sports games, and 4D consoles.
