From Friday, September 18th to Sunday, September 20th, 2026, the Forest Medieval Festival will celebrate its 27th anniversary in the gardens of the Forest Abbey. After a hiatus in 2025, this important family event returns this year with a new partner – the non-profit organization Pedagogia. For three days, adults and children alike can immerse themselves in a medieval fantasy world filled with knights, soldiers, witches, jugglers, artisans, and costumed characters. Activities include camping, medieval processions, battles, treasure hunts, traditional craft demonstrations, children's games, exciting performances, and concerts, adding endless fun to the weekend. Many artisans will also be present, showcasing their creations and skills: pottery, weaving, jewelry making, woodworking, armor making, and textile crafts, taking visitors on a journey through time.
