Join Oliver Bliss for a captivating visual arts workshop on the theme of "Identity/Portraits" at The Hive in Worcester. This workshop is part of the prestigious History in the Making project, a year-long program that celebrates Worcestershire's rich heritage and amplifies the voices of underrepresented communities. This remarkable initiative, generously funded by Arts Council England with additional support from Worcester City Council, encompasses various creative activities that culminate in a published anthology, joint visual arts and poetry exhibitions, and a poetry map showcasing Worcester's key community spaces. Drawing inspiration from the remarkable collections housed at Worcestershire Archives and Worcester Cathedral's Library, facilitators Oliver Bliss, Gerard Winter-Hughes, and Holly Winter-Hughes will guide participants through a series of workshops, using creative prompts to inspire art and meaningful discussions. You also have the opportunity to reflect on your own personal stories of Worcester and your unique relationship with the city. This exceptional community-focused project takes place at three partnering venues: Worcester Cathedral, Worcester Archive & Archaeology Service at The Hive, and the vibrant Sugar Daddy's Café.
