Parents or legal guardians can drop off participants in the morning, where they will be divided into teams based on their skiing ability. Throughout the day, the girls will learn a variety of outdoor skills used by ski patrollers to ensure mountain safety. They will have the opportunity to work alongside patrollers and volunteers, gaining valuable knowledge about mountain safety and first aid. The day will be filled with engaging activities, surprises, and games. The event kicks off with registration at 9:30 am in Raven Hall. At 10 am, all teams gather at the Crystal Mountain Ski Patrol headquarters for a morning meeting, where ski patrol basics, a tour of the aid room, and the day's agenda will be covered. Teams will then proceed to different stations scattered across the mountain, covering topics such as first aid, mountain safety, toboggan use, snowmobile safety, gear caches, weather, and avalanche basics & prevention. There will also be plenty of time for free skiing. Lunch will be provided at Campbell Basin Lodge, thanks to the Crystal Mountain Founders Club.
