In 1974, Breslin launched the first Yuk Yuk's at Toronto's Church Street Community Centre, which later moved to Yorkville district's 1280 Bay Street. Over the years, Yuk Yuk's expanded to twelve clubs across Canada. Breslin also founded Funny Business, a talent agency that represents over 160 Canadian stand-up comics. He has authored five books and produced television shows like Late Night with Joan Rivers and Yuk Yuk's - the TV show. Breslin's radio work includes founding Laugh Attack on XM Canada. Additionally, he co-founded the Humber College Comedy Program and is a founding board member of the Canadian Comedy Awards. Recognitions of Breslin's contributions include the Toronto Star listing him among the 180 most important individuals born in Toronto and being awarded the Order of Canada in 2017. In 2023, he was inducted into the Canadian Comedy Hall of Fame. Mark Breslin will join Ralph Benmergui for Not That Kind of Rabbi, a podcast that delves into the spiritual lives of prominent Jewish Canadians.
