This four-week class will take place on Saturdays, starting from January 27 until February 17, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Homer Watson House & Gallery in Kitchener. Suitable for both teens and adults, this class will provide step-by-step guidance on creating stunning acrylic on canvas paintings using photo references. Janice will walk you through the process, helping you complete two paintings on two 12 x 16 inch or larger regular depth stretched canvases. The required reference photos, printed on 8 1/2 x 11-inch copy paper, will be provided. To get started, make sure to bring your own 4 oz Acrylic tube paints in titanium white, burnt umber, ultramarine blue, cadmium red medium, lemon yellow, and yellow ochre. Janice highly recommends using Liquitex brand paints for the best results. All other necessary materials will be provided.
