Rotterdam World Port Days is finally here again! The three-day festival kicks off for the 49th time on September 4th! During World Port Days, thousands of visitors will explore the Port of Rotterdam aboard special vessels, on exciting excursions, and to witness aquatic wonders! As in previous years, World Port Days (Wereldhavendagen) offers classic events such as the Match Career Event on Fridays (the perfect place for anyone dreaming of working in the port), a colorful collection of boats on the docks, and of course, a spectacular fireworks display on Saturday night. Naval enthusiasts can enjoy themselves at Amerikakade in the Netherlands, where, in addition to other exhibits, the 111-meter-long HEBO-CB1 working pontoon bridge is on display. Parkkade also features a range of special exhibits, including the Chemgas ocean-going vessel Sefarina and the Coast Guard's emergency tugboat Guardian.

Grote Markt celebrates the region's largest beer festival in its indoor beer garden. The festival kicked off as scheduled on September 25th and 26th at Grote Markt in The Hague. Besides dancing at tables, enjoying schnitzel and sausages at Schwenkgrill, and singing along to "Ein Prosit," it's also a great place to drink beer—in large mugs, of course. With artists from home and abroad, luxurious décor, German cuisine, crowds in tight dresses and leather pants, and large mugs of beer, Boterwaag is the place to experience the true beer festival atmosphere. Party lovers can sit at the long beer tables at Festzelt, unaffected by any bad weather. At De Boterwaag, true hardcore fans can enjoy drinks on the dance floor and at the tables.

From July 17 to August 30, Brutus Art Space will transform into an uncharted hunting ground. In "Wild Summer Art 2026: A Treasure Hunt," 50 Rotterdam artists will showcase lesser-known, surprising, or long-overlooked aspects of their work. During the event, artists will host events every Friday evening (5:00 PM to 9:00 PM) at Brutus Art Space, including live music, performances, and workshops.
