TRYST and NOMAD II | Del Amo Crossing
Arts
The Torrance Art Museum is pleased to announce its return to the Del Amo Crossing building from October 27th to October 29th with two highly anticipated projects: TRYST and Nomad II. TRYST, being the largest art fair for alternative galleries and artist-run initiatives in the world, promises to provide a comprehensive overview of diverse artistic voices. This exhibition will explore a wide range of issues through the lens of different artist groups, each with their own unique structures that exemplify the various ways in which these initiatives support and cultivate the art world.
On the other hand, NOMAD II marks the comeback of TAM's innovative contemporary art pop-up. This program will primarily focus on sculpture, installation, and performance art. Taking place in an unoccupied medical building, NOMAD II will showcase the works of emerging, mid-career, and established contemporary artists based in Southern California. Throughout the weekend, visitors will have the opportunity to experience DJ sets, sound art, and captivating live performances.
The schedule for this exciting event is as follows: a preview on Friday, October 27th from 4-6pm, followed by full-day exhibitions on Saturday, October 28th, and Sunday, October 29th, from 12-6pm. TRYST and NOMAD II are must-see events that art enthusiasts and curious individuals alike won't want to miss. Best of all, admission to the exhibitions is completely free. Make sure to mark your calendars and join us at the Del Amo Crossing in Torrance, California, located at 21515 Hawthorne Boulevard, for a weekend filled with exceptional contemporary art.
