Musicians are also encouraged to participate by simply showing up and jamming with fellow artists and performers. Those in need of equipment are kindly asked to inform the Improv Collective Page in advance, while those with their own gear are advised to arrive approximately 30 minutes before the event begins. Additionally, attendees have the opportunity to join the weekly classes hosted by various participating groups such as Improv Theatre Newcastle, Contact Improv Newcastle, and Improv Dance Newcastle. These groups will also showcase their prepared group performances during the event. For those who prefer a more spontaneous approach, open improv slots will be available on the night, allowing participants to join in on other people's ideas and scores if they are open to participation. Of course, spectators are also warmly welcomed to witness the magic of improv unfold before their eyes.
