IN-PERSON EVENT IN BORDENTOWN, NJ Regulatory Training in Underground Storage Tanks: NJDEP Approved Training Wednesday, August 12, 2026 8:00am-4:00pm (Registration begins at 7:30am) Location: Eco Complex, Bordentown, New Jersey Description: If you are becoming UST certified for the first time or if your certification is in need of renewal, this class is for you ! Stay current with New Jersey's UST regulatory requirements and help your company and clients avoid costly penalties and fines. The New Jersey Underground Storage Tank (UST) regulations (NJAC 7:14B Subchapter 13 & 16) require that all personnel who install, close, test, and design corrosion protection systems for regulated USTs be certified as well as those subsurface evaluators (SSE) who perform services on unregulated USTs (UHOT). All owners/operators of regulated USTs who are persons responsible for remediation must retain the services of a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) as of May 7, 2012. The NJDEP requires professionals who work on USTs to be trained, certified/recertified every three (3) years. This NJDEP approved course fulfills the NJDEP course requirement for regulatory training and must be taken within one year prior to renewal. Professional engineers and plumbing contractors, exempt from the certification examination, must attend the course within one year of certification. Gather with hospitality industry colleagues for 2-days of hands-on learning & sharing to better our industry & ourselves COOKSCAMP 2026 will once again welcome hundreds of cooks and hospitality industry workers for two days and nights of hands-on learning and sharing. A life changing opportunity and rare camaraderie that comes with seasoned chefs and new students and all in between sharing cool experiences outside the chaos of the kitchen. Presented by the Chefs’ Table Society of BC in support of its upcoming, highly anticipated Culinary Arts Centre project, COOKSCAMP is the only event of its kind in Canada, a special outdoor jamboree designed for some of the country’s hardest workers. COOKSCAMP will be anchored by seminars, real-time demonstrations and practical workshops that focus on the real world aspects of hospitality life. From expert guidance on butchery and farm-to-table agriculture to spirited presentations and round table discussions on topics such as business development, work-life balance, the entire itinerary is being structured by industry for industry. Over the course of the 2-day event there will be a range of activities from farm tours, key note speakers, to a butchery demonstration, and demonstrations on some “lost” culinary arts. Inspiring guest speakers and instructors from near and far are currently being recruited for the campout, which will culminate in a special dinner on the farm - the world's largest “family meal”. Attendance options will include 2-day passes with 2 nights camping at North Arm Farm or 2-day passes without camping where you book your own accommdation offsite. Join the Snowman Workshop in Whitmore Lake on November 30th, 2023, and let your creativity shine! This delightful event offers the opportunity to craft a charming snowman nightlight or suncatcher. The workshop provides all the necessary materials, so you don't need any prior experience. The class is designed to be simple, with pre-cut pieces that you can easily assemble with glue, just like a puzzle. Feel free to add your own personal touch and let your imagination run wild. Please note that this class is suitable for children aged 10 and above, accompanied by a paid adult who will assist them in cutting the glass (due to limited seating, two tickets must be purchased to allow each participant to create their own project). After the workshop, all projects will be taken by the instructor for kiln firing, assembly, and delivery back to the store the following week. Detailed instructions for pickup or payment by mail will be provided via email. Don't forget to spread the word and invite your friends and family to join in on the fun!
