The City of West Hollywood cordially invites drag artists to attend the highly anticipated DRAG ARTISTS ROUNDTABLE, a dynamic series of four (4) engaging sessions led by the esteemed Pickle, City of West Hollywood Drag Laureate. Taking place at the prestigious Plummer Park Community Center, located at 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA 90069, this exclusive event is set to captivate attendees on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, as well as on Wednesday, January 24, 2023, Wednesday, March 20, 2024, and Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Each session will commence promptly at 5PM and conclude by 6PM.
The first gathering, themed "DESIGN," will delve into the intricacies of constructing a captivating drag aesthetic, tackling the challenges faced and unveiling innovative solutions. Esteemed drag artist Mindy L'Amour, renowned for her work on "We're Here" and "Dancing with the Stars," will grace attendees with her presence and expert advice. Mindy will teach participants the art of drafting a basic pattern for sewing, with all necessary materials provided.
The subsequent sessions will cover equally compelling topics, including "TECHNOLOGY," "SOLUTIONS," and "PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT."
